Hey, we will have to agree to disagree. I still think Cutler is nowhere near as bad a guy as you're trying so desperately to make him out to be.
I'll try to think deep thoughts from now on. How about that........

First, I understand your boy hasn't had a chance yet. Duh..... But part of the reason he hasn't had a chance yet is because he apparently couldn't beat out DA. Doesn't look good on his resume. Sorry. Secondly, Cutler had 25 TDs and 18 INTs last year with a 62% completion rate. Personally, I'd like to see a better ratio in the TD to INT area but if you're winning it's hard to gripe. (Well, not for you..... ) Third, any trade involving Rogers would only be made with the knowledge that he was so pissed at Mangini that he'd probably dog it just to get out of Cleveland. I have no idea if he'd be capable of doing that but I have to believe that after a few conversations between the FO and Rogers that they would be able to figure that out and act accordingly. Fourth, stop trying so hard to be a know-it-all. Nobody knows it all. I know that will be a hard pill to swallow but try it with a little beer. Beer makes everything taste better......

I don't think that looks bad on his resume if you look at how it all played out.. now if he can't beat him out THIS year if it comes to a competition, then yea, it will look bad.

j/c one issue i would like to throw in the mix is do you think they are open to trading cutler is because he was diagnossed with type 1 diabetes. "Cutler told CBS4 he dropped eight to ten of pounds towards the end of the 2007 season and that he was not throwing the ball with as much force as he had in the past. " <a href="link http://cbs4denver.com/sports/jay.cutler.diabetes.2.714009.html" target="_blank">linkhttp://cbs4denver.com/sports/jay.cutler.diabetes.2.714009.html</a> another article "One thing I understand after Thursday's long conversation with Cutler: A month after getting diagnosed and going on insulin, he feels much, much better than he did during most of the 2007 season, when he dropped 33 pounds, lost the zip on his passes and felt increasingly weak and fatigued." "To control blood sugars, most people use one of those finger-stick kits like the one Cutler carries to check their blood-glucose reading on a frequent basis, certainly before meals and often as much as 15 times a day" <a href="link http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ms-thegameface051608&prov=yhoo&type=lgns" target="_blank">linkhttp://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ms-thegameface051608&prov=yhoo&type=lgns</a> Maybe this has had an effect or during long drives his blood sugar may drop, even at the end of a game when it comes down to the last drive. I not saying that it is the reason for thought of trading him but maybe it is a small peice of the puzzel.

I gett hat Peenie .. believe me .. I get it ... and in this case its all about RATIOS ... I want my QB to throw a minimu of 2 TD's for every Int. ... PERIOD ..
25 - 18 is a HORRIBLE RATIO ... I would rather see 10 - 5 .. it is not just about POINTS SCORED ... its about pts scored vs points given up .. if u score 50 and your QB throws 4 TD's but U give up 60 and he throws 3 picks (and thats Cutlers ratio ... 4 - 3) .. THATS NOT GOOD ...
U WILL NEVER WIN BECAUSE OF YOUR QB WITH THAT TYPE OF RATIO in todays game ... its not going to happen ...
sumptin else folks seems to forget when talking about Jay .. he played in a GREAT SYSTEM and under possibly the best O mind in football today .. that also needs to be factored into the equation ...
at the end of the day ... IF jay improves his decision making .. he will be a VERY VERY GOOD QB in this league .. he has all the other tools to be a great one (well his mental toughness needs to improve also .. ) ...
he is still a young QB so he can grow and improve in that area ... if he does his legacy will be one of greatness ... if he doesn't he will ust be another strong armed QB that put up great TD #'s and threw alot of picks and NEVER WON ANYTHING ....

Yeah I've come to known that since...thank you for the clarification.
It is pretty ugly...and supposedly Bowen wanted a face to face but Cutler has refused to accept his calls...pretty ugly indeed.
Supposedly McDaniels told him that anyone can be traded...A pretty stupid thing to say considering the nature of the conference call
Toad: " In one off-season, we've seen how 'Gini and now 'Daniels have taken a bad situation and made it worse by playing Billy-Badass."
Sorry and I know you will quip that I'm simply Orange n Brown Glasses. But honestly there is no comparison to these two situations...none at all. McDaniels outright went after Cassel then tried lying about it to Cutler. Then in the smooth things over opportunity he tells Cutler that anyone on the team is Trade material.
If you look - Just what BAD-ASS thing did Mangini do? And it appears that things are smoothed over and frankly Rogers is a more volatile player even though Cutler isn't a goody two shoes either.
I'm telling you the NY Media disliked Mangini and he treated them with some dis-respect. The same might happen in Cleveland. But the media don't play ball for us. He actually is a softy compared with Belicheck - and has tried to make things easier while maintaining a Tough camp and team discipline. That doesn't make him a BAD-ASS that makes him a Good NFL Coach and he has a philosophy. But he is not as rigid as the MEDIA has made him out to be. He BENDs a heck of a lot more than Belicheck. And this kid McDaniels has shown me squat. And the last thing you want to do is Mess up with your Franchise QB. I mean trade the kid if you want...but don't make the waves and have all the negatives and maybe be forced into trading him. I guarantee you Belicheck would have traded Cutler...not attempt and fail to trade him
I see no failure in this regard with Mangini. I see nothing he did to perceive that he was responsible for alienating Rogers. I do see the media blowing it up and J'accusing Mangini of being cold.

Gee .. I'm sorry for POINTING OUT WHY ... god forbid someone actually explain themselves and give VALID REASONS when smacking someone else's BS around ...
Quote:
But part of the reason he hasn't had a chance yet is because he apparently couldn't beat out DA.
I realize i am setting myself up for another "DUH" blast from U with this one .. but what the hell ..
In year 1 he reports to camp 3 or 4 weeks late .. and he has like 3 weeks or so to beat out Frye ... NO DA ... as DA was not the starter going into the season ... then DA lights it up the first half of the season .. craps the bed the 2nd half ..
in year 2 the powers that were decide to just hand the job to DA in FEBUARY ... BQ did not even get an OTA in before he was deemed Mr. Cpilboard for the year ...
so my question to U there menZa is ... WHEN EXACTLY DID HE HAVE A CHANCE TO BEAT HIM OUT?? ... was it that 3 weeks he had when he first reported in his rookie year ... or was it when he was running with the 2nd team through all the OTA's and TC in his second year?? ...

1. a 4 - 3 TD/Int ratio is not going to get it done ... your not doing a GOOD JOB with those ratios ..
2. they did not win .... I believe they were 8 - 8 .. that is not WINNING ... thats breaking even ... and when U consider they played 4 of there games against the Faiders and Chefs and then two against the Bolts (one game witch they actually lost as the Ref admitted he gave them the game .. ) ..
real tough schedule they played ...
3. they did not make the playoffs ... that is NOT WINNING ...
but i guess in your world 8 - 8 and no playoffs is considered winning .... I guess maybe we have a "standards" difference ...

I can get on board with that one ... and u can even be the conducter .. CHOO CHOO ... *L* ..
I still think we could do alot better than that trade .. like say getting someone's 1st and 2nd ... Rogers is one of the top 3 interior DLman in the game .. he has GREAT GREAT VALUE ... now if thats all we could get for him ... I am still not sure thats worth it..
but like i said in the begginging of this thread .. NEITHER ROGERS OR JAY ARE GOING NO WHERE .... it makes no sense for either team to trade those players at this point ... and things will get hashed out on both sides .. the one feasible trade for Cutler has passed ... no other scenario makes sense ..

thats the one thing I love about U Otto .. U may not know a damm thing about football .. but u "get it" .. like me U *L* your ass off at this stuff and don't take it to seriously ... and thats what makes our back and forths so enjoyable for me ... you'll stick it right back up my butt whenever u get the chance ... we'd have alot of fun having a few beers otto .. we'd laugh our asses off ..

Actually, for once, I don't think it's appropriate to place the Groucho Marx Orange and Browns on you
The situations are different in terms of the level of deceit, but not in terms of choosing to treat the player like a piece of meat, such as they did in the 50's and 60's. Both coaches chose to let a headcase of a player stew instead of taking the initiative of doing what's necessary in today's NFL.
Both of these situations could have been avoided if they'd have simply a different path. Yes, two different situations, but identical in terms of choosing not to reach out to the player when the situation called for it. That's the DNA of Parcells and Bellyache if I've ever seen it. If they learn to get past that plan of action, they won't find themselves in these situations.

QB Att INT % Brees 635 17 2.7% Warner 598 14 2.3% Cutler 616 18 2.9% Rodgers 536 13 2.4% Rivers 478 11 2.3% Manning 555 12 2.2% McNabb 571 11 2% Cassell 516 11 2.1% Ben 469 15 3.2% DA 283 8 2.8%
These are some of the percentages of the top QBs. I hear all the TD to Int comparisons but that doesn't mean a whole lot to me. I also looked up his ints to see if he had any real bad games or situations that seem to have skewed his stats. Other then a 3 pick game he was pretty consistent. Most games he had a pick. According to the breakdown many were in his own territory (including inside his 20) in games where he was down a lot. Also these picks were spread across all quarters. He only had one pick in the final two minutes of either half.
Now stats can't be used in place of actual game film (they do help however) but since I haven't seen much of him I can only go on what others say. I'm using these stats to help me in deciding what and who to believe.
Stats are for losers....but some of you are using the TD to pick ratio. Isn't that a stat?

Stats aren't for losers............But rather.............Some losers just can't interpret stats
I believe you're not suggesting I'm in the stats or talent aspect of the discussion regarding Cutler, but I did want to say, again, that my problems with Cutler are with his personality, not his ability.

I'm not implying that you say stats are for losers...Just that you are a loser. My opinion is in order to use stats effectively you need to look at as many as possible with what you see. I read people saying "the eyeball test" all the time. The problem is the people using that test aren't always very bright. By using stats to confirm what I see helps me to have confidence IMO. Diam brings up many points about Cutler...Good and bad. All the different stats I have looked up seem to validate his points. I believe from what has been said about Cutler that you are right...He is a primadonna, and a big baby.

Ratios are made up of stats ... so they are not stats ... there ratios of stats ... making them ratios .. *L* ..
Jay makes some bad decisions .. he needs to improve on that or his legacy will be as I stated above .....
and the way U do it with Stats is the right way to use them .. U watch .... form opinions and then see if the stats verify what u saw .. and u know what .. when they don't U can almost always LOGICALLY figure out why the stat is devious ....
U can not draw conclusions based on any one stat .. its SHORTSIGHTED and will lead U to many wrong conclusions ... I would not rely on stats to even draw a conclusion I would discuss with others ... NO WAY ... I may say that the stats lead me to believe X is true .. but NO WAY would I be as firm in my beliefs without watching these players and watching them multiple times ....
even here I started out saying that Jay needs to make better decisions .. and then as usual the dolts chimed in and i reverted to the RATIO .... *L* ... that was the easiest to help prove my point ...
Spin man hit the nail on the head with my saying .. hes alot more abrasive then me when it comes to things like that so I tempered my saying to be a little less harsh ... *LOL* ..
and P .. save yourself alot of time .. when your not sure what to think .. let me know .. and i'll tell U .. *L* ..

I actually think that is true. Of course, I said the same thing to Vers once.......I believe he gave me a one-fingered salute.....Couldn't see it but I'm pretty sure that's what he was doing......
As for our QB situation, well, I like your boy mo' better than I like DA. And I hope he's everything you think he is.
But if a team like Denver offered us a decent, fair deal involving a swap of QBs I think we'd be nuts not to take it. Of course, I don't think it will happen.
But I never thought Favre would go to NYC, either. Sometimes this stuff just sneaks up and bites you in the ass. That's part of the reason we keep coming back. It sure as hell isn't the Browns' stellar record in the last 10 years......

Thumbs up on D.A.: The Browns intend to pay a $5 million roster bonus owed quarterback Derek Anderson on Friday, Kokinis indicated. "I don't think we've changed from when we first talked about it," Kokinis said. "We're trying to get the best players on the team and he's one of them. I have never heard them call Quinn one of the best players...Have you? ****dig**** Make up some excuse how they are trying to pump up his value...blah blah blah..The Facts...Quinn has been discussed in trade rumors, call them made up or whatever makes you and your BOY happy. Anderson was not being shopped at the combine which is the typical place to do so. The only things I have heard from Lombardi and other sources is that Mangini and Kokinis are not thrilled with Quinn. That is all we need to know, and that these guys don't care what any of us think and obviously have a plan in place. http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2009/03/cleveland_browns_release_wide.htmlIt's funny to see you talk about TD to int ratio....What was Eli's the year they won the SuperBowl? What is his for his career? Do you think he sucks or are there other integral parts that make teams successful? Troll

They had to pay that bonus no matter what.
I don't believe fully in Quinn like Diam does, and I enjoy QB debates as much as anyone, but this one is gettin' a little tiring.
*nudge* *nudge* *hint* *hint*
Diam, you're as guilty as the rest in eggin' Loyal on. Just let this one go, as I doubt he's changing anyone's mind or opinion about Quinn.

Toad,, as long as we win with whoever is at QB.. does it really matter what name is on the jersey? I happen to think it doesn't matter even a tiny bit.

D, no, it doesn't matter as long as we win, but the question isn't about whether or not it was ok to have allready won with <insert QB name here> but rather whether or not <insert QB name here> is the guy to help us win

Yes of course that's true.. I guess I wasn't clear however.... what I'm saying is that I don't understand the hatrid we see for one QB and the love for the other when in fact, neither has exactly put the competition to rest as of this moment.
My feelings are, if both are here come Training camp, I want them to take it up a notch and I want each guy to prove why he should be our starter.. I want production, I want something concrete to hang a decision on. No more gut feelings.. I want one of them to step up and prove it. no excuses..
If by chance one of them is traded away, then I hope that Mangini picks right.
I've said it before,, I don't care what name is on the jersey.., Just win

Your right it doesn't matter as long as we win and Quinn might be a good QB someday...but he isn't now and has yet to prove so. What I don't need is someone calling me out for proposing a trade of a player they are obviously infatuated with more than the team itself. I've been called everything under the sun, but everything is cool if you dig on the only successful QB this era in Cleveland. I don't know if Anderson is the answer or Sanchez or Quinn, but man the love affair is sickening...if you can improve this teams overall talent multiple times over in other areas using a QB that might never even pan out you do it...DA has proven he can win games by himself in this league, and win games period. A better team and defense around him or another QB would be huge...just stop with the love affair for an unproven commodity that couldn't beat out a 6th round waiver wire pickup. Until he proves otherwise quit acting like he is a gift from God, he could bring valuable picks to a team that needs them...so when I bring it up..don't act surprised. It's not about DA or Quinn it is about the Browns and I am glad some can see that still.

That makes more sense. It's all based on which guy any given person thinks is the right one. Nothing more.
Loyal, you made it quite clear that you believe in Anderson over Quinn, and that we've been shopping Quinn to anyone who'll listen, so the result is that you just KNOW Anderson is the favored guy.
That's a big stretch, so it's not going to go over well. You also won't win with the sarcasm. I know. I've been there *L* When you rub people the wrong way first, odds are you're going to get called some things. So tread carefully or suffer board-wrath *L*

U don't understand sumptin ... well theres a news flash ... *LOL* .
where u have a problem is that u just do not have that good of a grasp on football and how even the simpliest things work .....
U seem to think that the name on the back of the jersey does not matter if we win ... and your right in that regard .. but what u do not seem to be able to figure out is actually very ELEMNTARY ... and that is that the name on the back of the jerseys DIRECTLY CORRELATES to OUR CHANCES OF WINNING .. DA or BQ is just one example ...
damm dude .... U amaze me on almost a daily basis .. and I do not have the patience that Toad does for IGNORANCE ...

Cutler says he can't trust McDaniels By Chris Mortensen ESPN.com
Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler said Sunday night that he will not report to the team's first meeting on Monday and has formally asked to be traded. He confirmed that a Saturday meeting with first-year coach Josh McDaniels ended badly from his perspective while McDaniels offered another viewpoint on Sunday night.
"I went in there with every intention of solving the issue, being a Bronco, moving forward as a Bronco," Cutler said. "We weren't in there but about 20 minutes, [McDaniels] did most of the talking and as far as I'm concerned, he made it clear he wants his own guy. He admitted he wanted Matt Cassel because he said he has raised him up from the ground as a quarterback. He said he wasn't sorry about it. He made it clear that he could still entertain trading me because, as he put it, he'll do whatever he feels is in the best interest of the organization.
"At the end of the meeting, he wasn't like, 'Jay, I want you as our quarterback, you're our guy.' It felt like the opposite. He basically said that I needed to tell him if we can't work this out, to let him know," Cutler added. "I thought he was antagonizing me and that was disappointing because I was ready to move on, committed as a Bronco. Really, I figured we'd hash things out, shake hands, laugh a little and move forward. What happened [Saturday] was the last thing I expected. If I didn't think it could be fixed, I never would have come back to Denver. It was painfully obvious to me and Bus [Cook, his agent] it's not something they want to fix."
Consequently, Cutler instructed Cook, who also attended the meeting, to formally request a trade. The quarterback said he left town late Sunday and would skip McDaniels' first team meeting on Monday as they begin their offseason program.
Broncos owner Pat Bowlen told the Denver Post on Sunday that he was disappointed with how Cutler has handled the situation. In a telephone interview with ESPN, McDaniels was reluctantly expansive on the story.
"I really have wanted to avoid a he-said, she-said thing but it's only fair for us to present the Bronco side of the story rather than let things get taken out of context," McDaniels said. "There's been a pattern here for the past two weeks the way things [have been represented] in our communications. I don't think anythng that happened [Saturday] was out of the ordinary. At the end of the meeting, Jay said he had thought about things quite a bit and requested a few more hours to mull things over. He said he wanted to talk to Bus on how to proceed. He was gonna call me on my cell phone and that never happened. Instead, Bus called [GM] Brian [Xanders].
"Again, I think that's been a pattern. I couldn't get [Cutler] to talk to me for two weeks or to talk to Mr. Bowlen. Then when he came here this weekend, we couldn't get a one-on-one meeting, just me and him alone. He wanted Bus in there, so I had Brian sit in, too. And it was the four of us. There wasn't any yelling, none of that. I can't believe we get to a totally different [interpretation].

Highlights of some of Jay Cutler's best moments in 2008.
"It's an unfortunate set of circumstances that has cropped up, a potential distraction and we've done our best to limit that. The main message I want to get out is that we're excited to start our offseason program [Monday]. It's an exciting time for us."
Cutler won't be present at the team meeting.
"I certainly went back there, expecting I'd be there [Monday] but not now," Cutler said. "It's not mandatory. I'll attend every mandatory mini-camp and training camp but that's it. Really, it's best for me to move on. As coach said, he needs every eye in the meeting room to be on him and not me."
As McDaniels pointed out, Cutler had a completely different expectation when he left their private meeting on Saturday.
Cutler said: "You know, even after the meeting, I hung around town, kind of expecting him to call me and say, 'Hey, let's just me and you get away and have lunch or a cup of coffee' and mend things, but that didn't happen. So, I get it, really, it's a business. I'm disappointed beause I love being a Bronco but I think it's run its course."
Cutler denied recent reports that he had asked to be traded when the Broncos fired offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates.
AFC West blog ESPN.com's Bill Williamson writes about all things AFC West in his division blog.
• Blog network: NFL Nation "Yes, I was upset when they let Jeremy go because Mr. Bowlen had assured me when Mike [Shanahan] was fired that the offense wouldn't change because it was the second-ranked offense in football," Cutler said. "But I didn't push for a trade then."
McDaniels and Cutler agreed on at least one element of the controversy, knocking down a Sunday report on NFL Network that the coach had criticized the quarterback's play in 2008.
"That just isn't true," McDaniels said. "Not a word has been said about that."
Cutler added: "Josh has never said anything negative to me about my play or anything else, for that matter."
McDaniels admitted that the team got involved in trade discussions for Cassel, who instead was dealt to the Kansas City Chiefs. However, he said any perception Cutler felt that the team could still trade him was misleading.
"That's what we have communicated ever since the deal with Cassel didn't happen," McDaniels said. "Other teams have called but we're not interested in getting draft picks for Jay. I never made a statement [Saturday] that 'you can be traded at any time.' They asked a question and I told them it was the time of year when people inquire about your team. Your job, as a head coach and general manager, is to listen and not bypass any opportunity to help your team improve. I think most people [in the NFL] feel the same way. You make smart, educated decisions that are best for your football team."
Cutler feels like McDaniels lost his credibility with him when he initially denied to the quarterback that the Broncos tried to acquire Cassel only to admit it later.
"Before this trade for Cassel thing ever came up, in the two weeks or so I had spent with McDaniels, he was basically telling me that he came to Denver because he wanted to coach me and that we needed to trust each other," Cutler said. "He's never been critical to me. But trust now? How can I trust him now?"
He also explained that his house being put up for sale was "nothing more than a coincidence."
"I had already shown my house privately to some interested buyers a couple of months ago," Cutler said. "I've really been looking to buy 40 to 70 acres of land there."
As for ignoring phone calls from McDaniels and Bowlen, Cutler said: "Josh and I have exchanged text messages. We had a conference call. And if Pat wanted to speak to me, why didn't he come to the meeting on Saturday?"
Cook said that as an agent he was "totally in shock" that it has gotten so ugly.
"I would have bet my house going into Saturday's meeting that everyone would be shaking hands and smiling," Cook said. "I thought it was going to get worked out. But it was very clear to me that Jay Cutler is not their choice to be quarterback of that team."
Yet Cook admitted that when he called Xanders to request a trade on Saturday night, the team's general manager said it wasn't going to happen and that "Jay should show up Monday."
That wasn't going to happen, either.
Chris Mortensen is a senior NFL analyst for ESPN Mort was on Mike and Mike this morning talking about this mess. Little Mike asks him where he might go and Mort says, "...the obvious place might be Cleveland. They have Derek Anderson or Brady Quinn. Of course, Brady Quinn may be a better fit since he already knows the Pats offense (since McDaniels is a Pats guy)." I was thinking the Broncs might be interested in DA once they trade off Cutler to another team.......I never thought of having Cutler traded here! I don't see it happening. This is Brady's team for the next 2+ years at least.

He made it clear that he could still entertain trading me because, as he put it, he'll do whatever he feels is in the best interest of the organization.
Uhh, man, that bothers me maybe alittle too much. I'd like Cutler the player, but that statement is too, "me first, team second".
I understand that you can't be a baby about being shopped. And at the same time a QB who has had success and is shopped, and then told he isn't being shopped, and now being told by the coach he is being shopped.
Whata mess...I can't see the Broncos trading him here for Quinn or DA, when they can prolly get a first and more from Tampa, Chicago, Minnesota, or SanFran.

Well, McDaniels has said over and over again that he won't trade Cutler for picks. That would mean starting completely over with a rookie and this is a very weak draft for QB's. The Broncs are built to contend now.
I suppose Stafford could be an option in the draft....but they aren't getting him with the teams you listed above. And there's a huge drop from Stafford to Sanchez....and even bigger after that. Kiper said he wouldn't be shocked to see 3-4 QB's go the entire draft.
I'm not sure if this helps or hurts DA's trade value. On one hand, Cutler is a ton better than DA....but the Broncs will try getting high value for him. Plus, they don't really want picks in return. Although, if someone can get Denver to trade him for picks....maybe Denver then wants DA. Who knows...

Yeah, if anything, this just supplants DA as the "top" QB prospect out there.

Until Cutler is traded we don't know yet..obviously only one team will get him so it still will leave all the rest looking for a QB still in the hunt.

What a mess this is for the Broncos.. wow.
They have a sunami with Cutler,, all we had was a ripple across the pond with Rogers by comparison.
To tell the truth, I really don't know who to believe.. Both have credible stories but in the end, I guess it doesn't matter. Cutler doesn't want to be there so now he's just disgruntaled baggage hanging around the neck of the team.
I suggest they find a place to trade him.. Given that I don't know who the fool is, I'd really rather they didn't trade him to us. I want nothing to do with him at this point. And I'm very glad we didn't hire McDaniels...

Yeah, but with bigger trade value and certainly a bigger contract cost..

That's true Daman. I can't think the Broncos would settle on anything less than a 1st for Cutler. Maybe they'd take a 2nd, but with a player, or maybe a 2nd this year and a 2nd next year.
Meanwhile, maybe we're shopping DA as a 2nd and a 5th this year. Just a total guess on my part, if we're even shopping DA.

if we make some trades either for DA or others as we may be expected to
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This scenario became an even more of a possibility with Cutler demanding a trade! He is a prima-donna and will Not want to compete for the starting job with Brady or Derek. I personally don't want Cutler, but I'm hoping we can swing a 3-way deal with Tampa or the Jets to get Multiple picks in the Cutler Sweepstakes!!! JMHO Go Brownies!!!
j/c I posted this in another section, but now think that it belongs here. Go Brownies!!!

What was it you think I was saying? I know that Cutler will have a higher trade value than DA.. Which to me means something along the lines of what you said above.. So what I said was TRUE....

I've got two words for Cutler:
Grow up!
And the other three words:
Just say no.
Most especially, if it requires trading Quinn. NO way.

Why would anyone want Cutler after this cry-fest? What in the hell has he accomplished that makes him elite or special?? Brandon Marshall is an elite WR that would make anyone look decent.
Cutler is pathetic. Does anyone think he's going to stop having a tantrum after he's traded?? "coach didn't do this - coach didn't give me special treatment"
That's what passes as a football player??????
The person that should be offended in all of this is Quinn for it even being suggested that a team would rather have Crying Cutler than him.

Maybe Quinn shouldn't be at it, but it does offend me that Anderson is given any consideration at all, let alone Cutler.

Not only that, but McDaniels is a Weiss Protege, I am more than willing to bet he would deeply overpay for the Seed of his mentor. Being in the High altitude would help Quinns arm strength, and the fact he has been riding the pines for two years learning NFL defenses is appealing more than a draft pick. Quinn would be the #1 QB taken this year...if he were in the draft...I don't see why Denver wouldn't give up a #1 to get the guy they want at a minimal Cap hit. Quinn's contract does have huge escalators on playing time and performance. There would more than likely be another pick that would have to be thrown in which could come at the expense of Cutlers new destination. (Tampa doesn't have a third so that hinders them unless they trade futures. They would first have to find a willing partner for Cutler and there are a few.
Cutler to new team Quinn to Denver plus 3rd from Cutlers new team. We get the #12 pick
We trade out of the #5..pick up a late first and another second. pick up Beanie with #12, Pick up Rey with late first, then three seconds to get Pat Chung, Hakeem Nicks, and Duke Robinson..
That was easy...Maybe this should go under dream drafts.. I know it will get blasted, but seriously look at the talent that could be brought in..If I told you there was possibly a way to get.... what would you say. Wells- RB Rey M- LB Chung- Safety Nicks- WR Robinson- OL
