Off-season gets pretty boring and I know free agency just hit and the draft is looming, but I want to know what plays since '99 makes you feel good all over again. Mine are: 3) Phil Dawsons amazing field goal in the blizzard game against Buffalo in 2007. 2) Once again, Phil Dawson's field goal against the Ravens in 2007 that hit the "Dawson" bar and somehow went through. 1) A tie. ( It's my thread, I can make a tie if I want). I swear I didn't plan this ahead of time, I'm thinking as I go along, but once AGAIN, ladies and gents, Phil Dawson kicking the game winning field goal against the stoolers in '99 with just a few ticks left on the clock. And the other, (No Dawson here) William Greens TD run against the falcons in 2002. Jim Donovans call of "Run, William Run" to help get us into the playoffs for the first time since we came back into the league. I was at that game, so it makes it even more the sweeter.
How in the world can you fix something... If you don't know how it's supposed to work?

Really hard to argue with those 3 (four ). I would put the Dawson Bar at #1 myself.

I have to say #1 is the FG against Buffalo. Just because I was at the game, and it was amazing that fans recognized not only the degree of difficulty, but the importance of just getting 3 points in that weather. The stadium went nuts.

Yeah, I forgot about Eazy's INT against the Giants. Either that game, or the Buffalo game of 07' was the most fun I've ever had at a Browns game.

Cribbs TD return against the stoolers. Forgot about that one. Fumbled it around a bit, then tiptoed along the sideline and ran it back. Great play. I know there are some plays I might have forgotten about, those top 3 or 4 just came to my mind first. Keep 'em coming. I need to smile about this team.

1) Run William Run (the call has been my ringtone for ages)
2) Dawson's blizzard FG
3) Couch's last minute TD to Campbell/wave to Ravens fans
(I only picked plays that happened in W's)

Good ones. I was in attendance for number 1 and 3. The FG agains the Ravens in Balti was fantastic. Those were some ticked off Ravens fans.
Run William Run is probably one of my better memories as a Browns fan. I'll never forget that one!

I like the ones people have mentioned, I'll throw in one more
The stop on 4th and 1 in the Falcons game...there was nobody between Dunn and the end zone, and then I believe it was Rudd and Holmes who both came out of nowhere, Rudd blew up the FB and Holmes came in for the game saving tackle.

I'd have to agree. The Dawson kick could be subbed with his kick in the snow, but the meaning and outcome of the "Dawson bar" kick would probably make it stand out more.

(1) William Green Run (2) Tim Couch to Kevin Johnson Hail Mary (3) Dawson FG vs Ravens
I'll keep with the positives as there are probably some negatives that would enter my top 3

Orpheous Roye giving the steelers a safety. The blocked kick to send a steeler game to overtime. The Touchdown in the third quarter in the playoffs in pittsburg to give the Browns a 17 point lead, and the shots of the crowd.
A Josh Cribbs return for a touchdown late in the game vs pittsburg Any touchdown against the Ravens including many while Butch Davis was coach. An onside kick recovery by Dennis Northcutt and Northcutt had another big play that game. The comeback plays of Couch vs the titans around 02 or 03 The Helmut throw sack! by Dwayne Rudd. The Kevin Johnson td vs the steelers in 99. Oh yes, A touchdown pass on third down from the shadow of the Browns own end zone vs the Bengals, when the expectation was a running play.
Daylon Mccutcheon making an open field tackle of Jerome Bettis. I think it was the game the steelers had a td taken away because they fumbled it out of the back of the end zone, more acurately out of bounds just inside the endzone.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Of few of the ones that I could think of that haven't beeen mentioned:
- Tim Couch's 9 yard TD run against the Steelers. It was the last time we beat Pitt, and this was the play that put us in control. McCutch had a 75 yard interception later in the game, but the run really stood out because it was Couch's best game as a Brown (the TD was his third of the game) and after that score, you just knew we were going to win.
- Eric Wright's 94 yard int against the Giants this past year. Sort of mentioned above, but this was the play that really iced the game. I think I jumped through the roof when he picked it and waltzed in for the TD.

DA scrambling against KC for 33 yards to set us up for the win in OT. Such a dismal season, but such an exciting game to be at.
Not necessarily my favorite play, but a lot of them have already been mentioned.
Speaking of INTs, that 100 yarder Brodney Pool had was something else, too.
Brian Russell cleaning Chad Johnson's clock.

My favorite is Nortcutt's dropped pass that would have sealed a playoff win IN Pittsburgh.
It speaks to how close a team can become good very quickly in this league.
There is nothing else to cheer about. Maybe Cribbs, and drafting Thomas.

- The first time we beat the Ravens, in 2000 - Tim Couch to Quincy Morgan TD. - I was in the 'pound and the place went crazy.
- Jamal Lewis long td run against the Bengals in '07.
- Can't think of any other one to call my favorite.
- Do you guys realize we haven't won a playoff game since 1989? - Man, art modell really did a number on us.

The Browns beat New England on 1 Jan, 1995, the week before the first ever Steeler playoff. So,....it's only been 15 instead of 20 years,....

I agree.
That might rank as the best game i have ever attended. I finally saw us win one in a fashion we lose all too often.
It was fun

Years ago, I made a poster out of that. The AP caught a great shot of Phil about to pick up the bouncing ball with 3 hulking Ravens behind him.
Jeff Wilkins did that with the Rams, but prior to that, Dawson was the first kicker in the modern era to do so (at least that's what the NFL told me).

You may have been in the Pound in the year 2000 but Quincy Morgan was at Kansas State and we got swept by the Ravens in the year 2000.

I didn't get to hear the "Run William Run" call by Donovan because I was watching the game in a casino in Vegas with my dad, Brother-in-law and another guy. There wasn't any sound, but the place was packed with fans from all teams. We were going absolutely insane when he was running and the Falcons fans there were just in disbelief.
I also loved Jamal Lewis's run against the Jets 2 years ago when he broke a ton of tackles to get into the endzone.
Most of my other ones have already been mentioned.
Oh, and let's not forget Dawson's fake FG against the Raiders a couple years ago. I don't think I've ever seen anyone take so long to get around the end!
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

2001, 2001! Darnit!
Couch had hit KJ on a deep td, then we got the ball back via turnover, then Couch threw a deep one to Quincy. - Right in front of us in the pound. I couldn't believe it.

These are in no particular order:
The Jamel Lewis show in the blizzard game against Buffalo.
The goal line stance against the Atlanta Falcons get the W, which got us into the playoffs. (With some help of the Jets)
The Dawson FG that was called no good then reversed and called good against Baltimore to go into OT and win the game.
I have other memories the hail mary as mentioned for the first win, Cribbs and the returns.
Overall I have some good and bad memories, but one memory I am somewhat glad is to meet some fellow fans such as the posters on this board, sometimes we don't always agree but at least we can talk about a team the we all seem to love, and that is a great memory the Browns have given me, especially this season.
