Shaun Smith seems to be the one we will lose. Robaire was good and Williams and Rodgers and RUbin at least made some plays. Shaun was invisible...I don't remember his name being called and he was a locker room problem.
And " Rogers " at least made some plays .. Your kidding, Right ???
It was horrible wording.
I believe he called Robaire, Williams and Rogers good and Rubin "at least made some plays."
you had a good run Hank.

J/C
Here's what the Mosley signing tells me, and I'm either onto something or I'm totally full of it but it makes sense to me.
Last year the original plan was to have the starting 3 be Rogers, Smith and Williams with Shaun Smith rotating at all the positions. Well, Robaire Smith got hurt so the other Smith had to start in his place. Shaun Smith may be versatile, but a starting DE he definitely is not, and that hurt us.
Didn't help that Williams was playing hurt all year either.
I think the gameplan is to have the DE rotation be Williams, Smith and Mosley with Rogers and S. Smith rotating at DT. This way our defense doesn't go completely to hell when Rogers is out of the game like last season (and it was painful to see the dropoff...and noticeable).
Thoughts?

The Browns are Bowens' sixth NFL team
I believe we are Poteat's sixth team also (4 int's in 94 games/18 starts)! Manginous is just getting his journeyman scrubs a paycheck from his new team! Are we the "Browncos" yet? JMHO Go Brownies!!!!

Almost.
We have three officially signed, one more to an offer sheet that will take another 6 days to know 100%, and perhaps at least one more in Eric Barton (ilb). We get those two and that would be almost 10% (5 of 53) of the final roster (assuming they all were to make it) and then yes we could be referred to as the Cleveland Jets-West.
Statistics are like a bikini; what they show is interesting, but what they hide is vital. Drive for show (1st round), Putt for dough (rest of draft).

The view going in seems to be that the Browns have some good talent at a lot of positions. But, the drop in quality once a starter goes down is pretty steep. K&M intend to address that, and bring in more team oriented guys.
