I think the reason we fall for crap like this is... we'd never even think of it. I mean why?? What would even cause someone to make something like that up. How do they even have the time...
All I can think of is one time someone questioned him about something so he made up he played in the NFL. And it all snowballed from there?
So no confirmation on if this person really does have cancer? That would be really sick if that was made up...

I will also say in Coachs defense that I think there is a little truth in some things he said but he took those truths and ran with them.IMO it was very important for Coach to feel important and for his opinion to carry a lot of weight and that is why he ran with some stories and also why he created the other screename to get people to believe him.

I'm out of the loop on this, but I don't think someone gets banned for lying about what they do for a living. My guess is the cancer thing was the kicker - I hope I'm wrong about that - who knows.

Dont know on that one, the only thing I could do would be to go by where he lives and take his real name and call around to hospitals in that area.
That is going to far for me, the guy was busted and is banned. That is enough for me.

Remember when his son said that he was in the hospital and that the doctor wouldn't allow him to bring him a laptop? Well, it turns out that CoachB was logging into his myspace page on a daily basis the whole time.
Also, you must factor in that CoachB and CoachB's son both registed on this board with the same email accounts.
Are we to believe that both father and son not only share the same email address, but also the same myspace page? Methinks not.

Well i should have said I guess it was ghosting, I assume that was the major one and there are others too i guess. I have been kind of kept in the loop on what was going on by the Refs but I have not gotten a PM on the reason for the final decision.
Ghosting is signing up for a second account under a different name and posting under that name. I dont believe the final determination had anything to do with IP addresses. Registering with the same email name is one good way to get caught.

Never liked him. It wasn't a difference of opinion (we aligned most of the time on the Browns)...he was just a condescending idiot...I never believed for a second that he had info of any kind...I used to laugh when he claimed to be tight with Chuck Frye.
I can count posters that I really wish weren't around on one hand (if that)...dude was one of them. The only thing he was good for was giving me free pass, idiotic springboards to make a point on political threads.

j/k Yep King, the cB was lying the whole time. I always thought he was abrasive. I'm just surprised it took this long for him to be discovered. I've had PM battles with "b" in the past and taking what he said during some of those and what he let slip on the old board and here I figured out he was a fraud a long time ago. I've told several people as much over the years. I just never thought it was worth the crap I'd take from some of you guys if I outed him. But I'm glad some others have finally done it. Hell, the guy was a class A jerk on and off the board. He PM'd one time and challenged me to a fight. I actually gave him my address and told him when I'd be available because I knew he'd never show. He never did. And the next week he put me on ignore because I wasn't worth his time. Uh huh........I've been laughing ever since. So don't feel bad for this guy. Because for all you know he's logging onto the OBR right now and picking fights with Barry McBride.......

Take notes......he made it all up. He wasn't a coach. His son doesn't play college football. He wasn't an ex-NFL player. He didn't have insider info. He wasn't in the hopsital. He may have Cancer although since he lied about everything else I seriously doubt he has anything worse that Carpal Tunnel.......
