In light of certain revelations recently, I pose this question to you -- have you ever told a lie on this board about anything concerning your life?

You can elaborate if you wish (and I'm sure a lot of people will be joking around about this topic)....but just be truthful when you answer yes or no.

Other than joking around, (note my post in the B thread claiming to be amazing at just about everything) I do not recall ever lying on this board. It is possible that I have, but I don't remember it. I am exactly who I portray myself to be.

NO, not unless you count the running jokes about my age, and my family on this board

I do not lie, and that's gotten me into a lot of trouble on this board.

I voted yes I recall one time in a thread stating I slept with over 10,000 women, that number was incorrect, it was only a bit over 9,000 other then that never.

My opinions suck, but I tell the truth,....

Other than joking around to get a laugh, no, I've never lied on Dawgtalk.

Other than that time when I told shotty I enjoyed and respected his posts.. no.

I'm joking man.. you know I love ya... darn it, there I go again.

I've never told a lie on this board. I am very truthful, what good is it to lie about something? O/T, this is why I don't go to high school reunions. All lies. Lie about jobs, houses, go on diets to lose some pounds just for the reunion then go back to their normal selves afterwards. All crap.

Seriously though ... there are some people I consider friends who I have met rhrough this and the old boards ...... and others I read with some curiosity ... and others who might as well be invisible for as much attention I pay them.

In the end ..... It's just a message board.

I can think of one untruth that I uttered on this board very, very recently---and I later came clean about it----but generally I am 100% honest on list board. It never really occurred to me to lie, or make up some fake personna.

I just try to anonymously share my opinions on the Browns, Cavs, and other random stuff with people---and convince them that the decriminalization of drugs will reduce drug-related violence, save our country billions of dollars, and free up the prison space and court rooms to deal with real criminals.

I just went all political on you.

Everyone does this. I still call BrownsBabe "Babe" more than her real name. Same with Nurse, Saint, GM, etc. Probably always will. Your user name kind of becomes your real name, if you know what I mean. We know you as Kingo, not Steve.

I wish I would have picked a cool name, but no, I had to choose DawgMichelle. I don't even know a Michelle for goodness sake...what fun is that?!

While we're on that subject, it's really strange for me to call Shep "Shep" on here when referring to him, because I never call him that...I have always used his first name.

Yeah, he's another one...it feels weird to call him by his real name for me. If Jules had picked a different name I would probably feel the same as you do. I don't call her Jules very often, if ever, but I hear it all the time from her family so it sounds normal to me.

I didn't want to pick the name you call me, that would be embarrassing to share with the group.

DummyDawg does have a ring to it though, I suppose.

I also call everybody by their board names. It just seems odd to call them anything else

I think Shep once referred to Jules as Julie, and I didn't know who he was talking about.

And he mentioned your real name when he got his car, again I had no idea who he was talking about....weird. I'd probably call you GM if I were to ever meet ya.

I doubt I'll ever think of GM by his real name, or anyone else on here for that matter. The thought of calling Michelle Anne, and Christy Marie is too much for me.

I heard he mentions GMs real name in his sleep quite a bit too..

I try to be as truthful as possible in all areas of my life. I feel karma gets you back for deing dishonest.

And I say "as truthful as possible" because sometimes a white lie needs to be told now and again to protect people's feelings. And sometimes a tiny exaggeration is needed to juice up a story from the past ("...And I swear he had eaten 12 tacos...." even though he really only ate 10).

Ok....I admit...I might not be as good at golf as I might imply to some.....I might be living a few year..errr...decades in the past.

But telling everyone that my real name is Brad Pitt wouldn't have gone over well. Nobody would believe that I, Bradley Pitt, am a Browns fan and spend this much time posting on the board instead of my smoking hot wife Angelina.
