Hey Sixty-Two....thanks. This place blows me away every time I look at it because it was fully furnished and it's all paid for. The view isn't perfect from ground level but it doesn't matter.
Last night was truly incredible....was sitting here finishing the load to photobucket and could hear the surf pounding. Was so calming. Can't wait for the weather to finally turn nice day and night so I can open all the windows and hear it in the back bedroom.
Peen, thanks. It was a huge move for me because I just packed up and moved without knowing anyone here. I did that one time before but moved to where I knew one person (1st hubby) and that move wasn't 700 miles but damn near 7000 miles.
Always have been adventurous and wanting to try new things...how much newer can you get than to start life all over again in a wonderful place that actually does get snow once in a while.

Did your cats have any issues with the new place? My sister moved recently and her cat was causing all sorts of problems for the first few weeks in the new place.

Ken, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you didn't really look at the pictures?  Look at Moo, he's curled up in such a happy little ball and so comfy on the couch and that was within 24 hours of getting there. Angel loved it from day one. Daman, just let me know when you guys are gonna be down here and I'll put ya'll on the short list and we can christen the Crow's nest in TRUE BROWNS FAN tradition. Which reminds me, I need to have a house warming party......so how many will be here and who are ya's  It would be a nice change from being inundated with Steeler fans.

Keys, the unpacking didn't take all that long since I didn't have to bring alot with me on the move. Still have a storage facility up north and need to get it emptied but why move stuff from it to a storage facility here? It's fine where it's at and it's not like I need any of the stuff just yet.
Plus I wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes. If anyone gets down this way, just hit me up with a PM and let me know when you're gonna be this way and we can meet for coffee.

So when is the Dawgtalkers/Atomic/Sniffles/beach party/housewarming blowout going to be?? I am not looking forward to seeing GM run around on the beach in a thong though  KING

Well, ya'll know that it won't be a one day party. We will have to make a weekender at least. Don't think it would be fair to have everyone drive all that way for a one day party and have to leave in the morning.
