Just curious why the Edwards trade discussion threads were deleted?

I'm guessing because it was already talked about here.

OK, somebody should change the title then cause i never would have thought to look there for it, although i never posted the trade anyways.

They are being deleted because the information coming out is based completely on rumor.

Good point.. overall I think the refs do a bang up job of keeping crap rumors off the board... but what really is the difference between rumor, which gets deleted or John Clayton's speculation, which does not? Is it purely based on the source?

I think the refs do a good job on here too, but i'm just confused over why they thought that the Browns/Giants talks about Edwards were a rumor when it was being reported by a NY reporter that these talks had actually taken place.

Apparently, I'm the last person on the planet that should answer this question... at least today anyway...

One thing does kinda, in a very small way, annoys me however. I've not been reprimanded by a ref in well over a year for anything... and today, Ref 3 (I think) chose to do so publically and to me, a little embarrassingly.

My first error was posting an article from the Plain Dealer about Edwards and the Giants. I got a PM that it was moved. No problem..

Then I post something I guess was posted before on a thread that was/is 7 pages long...

And this is why I was borishly reprimanded for it..

Again, it's a little annoying to say the least.

Overall, the refs to a fantastic job,,,, but this one was a little odd to me.

No need to respond to me on it.. I'm good either way
