Alright...I'm back with another one of my weird threads

I want to hear your love stories...it doesn't have to be the story of the man/woman/boy/girl you are with now. It can be someone that you met and were awwed by them and froze...Somebody that you caught a glimpse of at a red light and ended up daydreaming about them later...maybe your first crush in Kindergarten where you attempted to beat up the one you "loved"...I'm sure some of you have some good ones, I look forward to the responses

You writin' some kind of book or a screenplay ??

I'll tell the same kind of tale I wrote in the other thread,...after I came BACK from Parris Island (you had to have read the other thread,..) that very night, the girl I thought was going to become my life's partner gave me back my high school ring.

Three months later, on the very first cruise I made to Vieques, Puerto Rico, I heaved that baby into the Atlantic Ocean.

I was at the store today ..... and I saw this girl walking down the aisle towards me ..... and she was easily one of the most beautiful looking women I have ever seen ......

Then she walked by ..... in skin tight jeans ...... and I was in love .......

Until I saw her husband meet up with her at the end of the aisle .....

Ah well ... true love .... heartbreak ... and acceptance/recovery all in a 3 minute interval.

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

I grew up in South Boston as a orphan. I was always in trouble. I'm wicked smart, like, I can do equations really good and know all kinds of quotes from history books. Well, I hit this cop by accident and to get out of jail time, I had to work go to this shrink to talk about my problems. Around the same time, I met this girl at a college bar and we hit it off. I was trying to break it off but he taught me to follow my heart. She was all rich and was going to be a doctor. She even hit if off with all my friends. I ended up following her to the west coast.

Feel free to write a screenplay about that one.

I was up on another unit in the hospital at work the other day to ask another manager to cover for me. The daycare had called and said my daughter was sick, coughing, crying and saying her chest hurt.

There was a student nurse up there......wow. Honestly, this was probably about the best looking girl that I've seen in person in a long, long, long time. She is as good looking as anyone I've seen on TV or in person. Just drop dead gorgeous. Smoking hot.

As far as love stories..... I don't have anything to add right now. There really are a lot of good looking women in the world. I'm married and would never cheat, but there's nothing wrong with admiring beauty when you see it.

Okay, I've been dying to tell this story... And I figure this is the most appropriate thread lol...

So I've been seeing this girl for the past few weeks... And let me give you a little background into the situation...

We are both 21... Still young. Her parents are loaded. She goes to school, and works part time, while mommy and daddy pay all her bills...

I slacked off after high school... Haven't been in school for 2 years (going back in the fall, though), and work in a garage at a local car dealership... 40+ hours every week, for not enough money, just tryin to get by.

Well yesterday she decided to tell me that there could never be anything between us because "We are from too different of lifestyles".... She said, and I quote... "You are a really nice guy, and no one has treated me as good as you have these past few weeks, but I feel like it will never work because of the different lifestyles we are used to"...

Now, I'm not really upset by it... Don't think I'm wanting you guys to feel bad for me... I just thought it was funny... People are really that stuck up?

I remember when I was about 15/16 and I was on a youth mission trip down around Zainesville with the church youth group I was in. Of course, this was when I lived in Ohio. But anyways, we went down there to help another church hold Backyard Bible Studies and Vacation Bible School. I met this beautiful girl with the most beautiful green eyes. They were very green and very stunning, they were pretty much emerald green. I remember those eyes even today. I have never seen a pair of eyes as green as hers yet.

But we hung out during our freetime and got to know each other more and had a blast together that week. We spent a good chunk playing pingpong and spending time with each other. I think things could have worked out if she didn't live around Zainesville and I didn't live around Youngstown. The part I left out of that story was the fact that she was a pretty troubled teen. She had some trouble with the law for stabbing some other girl and had some issues with some bad friends. But I still thought we had a really good connection and I was a bit troubled myself around that age, but not to the extent of being in trouble with the law.

My Uncle got my cousin & I up at 4:00 am on a cold snowy early December day being 10-11 I just wanted to stay in that nice warm bed. Aunt Joe had laid out clothes for us the night before, withour eyes bearly open we proceed to dress in what seems like 20 layers that morning, after a cup of hot choclate and something put in our mouths to keep us from whinning & after a two mile hike we found ourselfs sitting in the middle of the wood in the dark, So this is deer hunting I remember saying to myself I dont even get to carry a gun so I know I wont get to shot anything, than after about what seemed a lifetime the sun started coming up this was also Ohio so it wasnt like were over looking the smokies or something, this was Ohio wooded flat land with plowed crops or soy beans & corn around it and let me tell ya it was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen, I'm not gonna try to explain but if you hunt and you've seem it and Shotty you know......words cant describe or do it justice. I was hooked on hunting, it started with that.

My wife and I met in law school. At first, she couldn't stand me and I really didn't like her much, either. However, we started a study group with me, her, and another person. As time went on, we started realizing just how perfect we were for each other.

It was far from love at first sight, but she is truly my life, my best friend and my true love. There's nothing else in the world that compares to it, nothing.

I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

I know, it's sweet, isn't it? I think it's great to see GM talk about how he's still gaga over his wife after so many years. Not everybody is as fortunate to find their true love the first time around.

I have often lamented the fact that I didn't...but I think there's a reason why Shep and I met each other later on in life, for reasons that I won't elaborate on because it's such a long story...but better late than never!

You did say love right? I've got some lust ones but... oh never mind.

Here's my story.

When I was a junior at Maryland I had a class called Psychology of Sports and it was in the PE building which was on the far end of campus... 30 minutes after it ended I had a literature class darn near all the way across campus, which at a good pace was a 25 minute walk. I had this every Tuesday and Thursday... The first day I noticed this extremely attractive girl in my Psych class but didn't think much of it... Thursday I noticed her again and then she showed up in my lit class... The following Tuesday after Psych I asked her if she was in the lit class, she said she was so we walked together... We made this walk twice a week for several months and became decent friends. She was sweet and smart and oh so very hot.... but along the way, she knew every football player, basketball player, etc and when I'd see her out she was always with that crowd... Being a bit shy, I guess I was too intimidated by who she was and who her circle of friends was to ask her out so I never did even though looking back, I think she would have gone out with me...... That is one of those moments in life that I'd like to have back.

Yea, it means one of 3 things....

1. She just isn't into him and that is a handy excuse...

2. She is really that stuck up...

3. She thinks he's a slacker who won't even be able to meet her basic needs financially if the relationship continues...

I met my husband a couple days after my 29th birthday (which was the last time that I was REALLY drunk). We went on 2 dates (in one week) before he had to go back to Colorado. We met in Houston for weekend the weekend that OSU played UM. I was there for a conference, my hotel room and meals at the hotel were paid for.

By the end of the OSU-UM game, I was head over heels, completely, totally, irreversibly, happier than I've ever been...in love with the man.

Two and a half months later, he moved back to Ohio and he proposed to me for my 30th birthday, at DTI. On June 25, 2009, we will celebrate our 5 wedding anniversary. Just the first of many half decade anniversaries that we'll be celebrating. I still feel about him the way I did watching him nap at the end of the OSU-UM in a hotel room in Houston.

L'Amour, c'est manifique!

Okay, I have to ask. I've noticed some Coach B comments lately and must have missed the story, so what's up? The last I remember reading, he was suffering from cancer and not doing especially well.

That is bizarre, babe.
I once told 'WannaB' that a coach of any measure wouldn't talk down to people as much as he did. Most coaches that I know (who've been successful) aren't usually that type.

I was in 10th grade... 13 years ago...

Was surprised to find out that it was test day in my History class. So I started writing some dates on my hand to remember things for the test. Girl next to me taps me and says... hey dummy the teacher is looking right at you. I was busted... that girl, who'm I had that class with for at least 2-3 months before this - I had never even noticed her before this moment. It was only a class of like 20... but I can't explain why I didn't notice her. The feelings I had when I finally did notice her - it was new. I'd dated a few girls before her... but I was only in the 10th grade. So nothing too serious. But, still I remember having this strong feeling about her from the moment I saw her. I knew from her looks and a brief talk after class. That I was going to marry this girl.

Well I got two things for punishment if I wanted to take a make-up test. I had to sit in the front of the class, and I had to apologize to my classmates for trying to cheat. The punishment of sitting in the front, put me right next to this girl. Which gave me the opportunity to talk more with her... eventually asking her out on a date. And 13 years later I am married to her with 2 kids and another on the way.
