Here's why:

The only team in the division that comes close is Pittsburgh with 6. - Funny thing is, they started trying in 1933, and have been in existence since. - Compare that to the Cleveland Browns - started in 1946, and didn't exist for 3 years since.

Essentially, the Steelers have been in existence for 16 years more than the Cleveland Browns and have won less championships.

Have we not been down this road before?

First Medmann comes on here and regurgitates one of his old threads, and you do the same, all in one day.

And where did you dig up that old Brownie pennant anyways? From an antique store?

I don't get Crusty's problem. We have eight titles, the Squealers have six. What else does she need to know?

Especially when at least one Super Bowl (2005), they didn't ever deserve. They feel inadequate, AND guilty.

Those dont count though. That's why that banner is on the floor, so you can wipe your feet on it.
What does a so called NFL championship trophy look like anyway? Does anybody even know? Can someone post a pic of one?

8 > 6. - Perhaps in the next 20 years the Steelers will catch up.

-It's funny, but some people question the legitimacy of the AAFC. - I don't know why, considering that the Browns won 4 championships in the AAFC then moved over to what was supposed to be a better league and won 4 more.

On display now at your local museum with other fossils. Make a left at the Tyrannosaurus rex and go past the "Evolution of the Caveman" display....if you hit the Stegosaurus, you went too far.

Oh, I get it. - The 1970's were so recent, that's why your 4 championships from then count. I gotcha.

I wasn't alive in the 70's either...and to think, now I'm married and entering into the practice of law.

OMG! The ugliest piece of crap I've ever seen! Goes right along your city, colors, name, etc. And you have 8 of those things! You should be proud!

Personally I think the design is a lot more intriguing than the modern trophy, with the buildings and the giant football helmet. Probably a lot harder to make too, the Lombardi is just a silver stick with a silver football. Pretty boring if you ask me.

Isn't that a rendition of the city of Cleveland and Muni stadium ?

I can understand why you don't like the design.
Pittsburg would now have 6 trophys with a helmet an outhouse and a horse stall with the north side of a southbound donkey in their trophy case.

Browns fans live in the past cause we haven't done anything in the present.
What the Browns did in the 1940's and 50's bear very little on a franchise that has done very little since 1999,and done less since the merger of 1970.
To be honest, the Steelers dominance in the 70's was harder to pull off than what the Browns did in the AAFC and the 50's.
Until the Browns get out of the cellar,we will be the whipping boys of the AFC North.

Jeesh, what an ugly trophy! I had one that looks just this that I got at the Goodwill store, the only difference is it had a lampshade coming out of the top of the helmet.

Let's compare one of our 8 championship trophies to this picture of one of the Bengals championship trophies:
