J/C..
For those of you questioning this decision, please think for a minute..
It would be a disaster if something bad happened to one of our studs in a MEANINGLESS game....
No more and no less of a disaster then if something happened to one of them in a MEANINGFUL game... the end result would be the same.
And do what it takes to equal 40-1 ... that is NOT meaningless. To have a Cleveland team, a Cavalier team, equal that level of greatness - to not be second fiddle, to not be an also-ran.... that is hardly meaningless.
Hell, one team every single year wins it all, two teams every year win a conference. Only one team in all of History has ever done 40-1.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Mike Brown would go from coach of the year to one of the worst ever.

Cavs coach Mike Brown said the decision was easy because his team has much bigger goals and he doesn’t want to jeopardize its chances of winning an NBA title by getting a player hurt in a meaningless game. With a win, the Cavaliers will match the ’85-86 Celtics’ home record of 40-1. “We are where we are no matter what,” Brown said following the Cavs’ morning shootaround. “Obviously, we can tie the record. That’s the only thing we gain out of playing our guys. Other than that, we could have an injury, and for me that would be the most devastating thing you could possibly think of this late in the game.” The Cavaliers have already secured home-court advantage throughout the postseason, making the home finale nothing more than a chance to get the reserves some extra court time. “Tying the home record would be nice, just like all the other records we have,” Brown said. “But going after it is definitely not a goal of ours." http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Aj...p&type=lgns

That's all well and good, but it doesn't change my opinion of the move.
I want 40-1.

Purp, the bottom line is that the players don't care about it... They are smart enough to know that a meaningless record does not help us get to our goal... What means something is a parade down Euclid in June....
It has been so refreshing to hear the way these guys talk.. I love the fact that they aint scared to come out and talk about their goals.. They have made no bones about it, anything less than Larry O'Brien is a failure..
I heart winning

Our second team has looked pretty good so far, other than a few Sasha hiccups in the first couple minutes.
D-Block with another big dunk.

I kind of feel bad for philly. If our backups are lighting them up just imagine philly facing us in the playoffs.

You know what's funny about our home record? We could have lost every single away game and still made the playoffs

Sasha needs to find his way back to the bench real quick. It's no coincidence that we started to separate back in the 1st quarter as soon as they subbed in Boobie for Sasha.

J/C...
If you are the sixers and you dont find a way to win this, you should be ashamed of yourselves, especially since DWest is shelved for the second half,

Valiant effort by the bench, but came up short. Oh well, it would've been nice...NOW LET'S GO GET THE PRIZE!!!

I can't wait to ship Sasha's sorry butt out of Cleveland. I was itching for him to hurry up and foul out so I didn't have to watch him play anymore.

Haha, pretty much. If Sasha wasn't a revolving door on defense we wouldn't have had to worry about that, though. But whatever, its really hard to be mad about it.
