Went to respond to a Pm and after I hit "relpy to this message" it didnt go thru. Tried several times and finally went to the users list to look up the users name and appears it went thru this time.
Why am I having problems here? Is anyone else?

I don't know of a specific answer, but in general there are a lot of issues with the site in terms of posting, be it regular posts or sending a PM or whatever, that are all directly related to the site performance issues.

All I can say is that those issues will be getting remedied very, very soon.

Just so you know, and if it helps figure out the issue. I got all your PMs 1488, and I appreciate them. I had some weirdness when I sent the first one, never confirmed, but apparently you got it.
