Figured take a lead from the Cavs threads. So far, Sizemore struck out. Hence, the season is over. Let's go Tribe!

I'm really excited for this season.
If Westbrook were healthy I'd say we're the odds-on favorites to win the division, but I have questions about our rotation. Still, I think our odds are good.

2-0 Rangers in the bottom of the 2nd, 2 outs. Stupid things like the ball hitting Lee and dribbling away for a single come back to bite you on the butt. *Edit* Now guys on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs after a double. C'mon Lee, shut it down now and get out of this inning! *Edit* 4-0 bottom of the 2nd, 2 out. Yeesh!

It's 4-0 now.

43 pitches in 2 innings. Gotta do better than that, plain and simple.
Let's get a couple back now in the top of the 3rd if for no other reason than to give Lee a rest.

Ummmmmmmm.... calm down ammo. It's the 2nd inning of opening day. Hey, are the Yankees playing this afternoon... it's not too early to jump on the bandwagon.

Or, even better, go 1-2-3 in the top of the 3rd.
Alright Lee, buckle down.

Hafner comes through in the clutch.
Sizemore on 3rd, Martinez on 1st, 1 out, Hafner hits into a routine double play. Yeah!

7-0 Rangers, bottom 5th.
Lee looking like early CC Sabathia last year. Something about winning a Cy Young, I guess.

Wow, and I was getting pissed about mlb.com once again ruining opening day by not testing their new players BEFORE opening day and not having them work. Then I look at a box score and see this beauty shaping up...

From the Indians preview thread: Quote:
I just have a feeling that Jenson is gonna end up being our righty stud (ala Betencourt of 2007).. I have my worries about how much gas Betencourt has left in his tank...
As Jensen Lewis gives up a solo shot in the 8th.
I just hope the Indians can turn it around. Only 161 games left!

season's over.
fire wedge. trade sizemore. move the team to miami.
we're already under .500 and if you are at any point under .500, that means you can't win the world series.

This is the reason they made the DVR. Watch the Cavs game first, then watch the Tribe while fast forwarding through the commercials...

the indians are going to be in a world of hurt if this is what Carmona and Lee are going to be giving us even 30% of the time.
Plus the bats look horrible....

I just wish for once we could hold another team to under 5 runs, jeez.... On another note, I think the only person who knows it's the regular season right now is Martinez.

Also, Texas is a very good hitting team, IIRC. But, I will have to modify my prediction and say that Tribe will go 160-2.

That does it; Lee is getting pasted. Gonna go to the mall, buy an Indians cap and shirts, come home and burn em now. The critics say the season is already over. Do it now so I have time to plow later. Just funning. Like our chances for our div this year. Got to avoid the June Swoon though. Seen that and injuries kill us. Hafner better produce! Base ball is something done yearly until the real men heal!

Glad to see the Indians brought their bats today, too. 4 batters, 3 strikeouts.
C'mon Tribe, wake up!
*Edit*
5-0 Rangers after 1. 5-0! I'm thinking the Tribe may want to try to work Slider into the starting rotation.

Pavano is our 3rd starter....our 2nd starter struggled last year and might end up following the Jaret Wright career path....our #1 starter won the Cy Young last year after years of being a moderately above average starter.
Our bottom 2 rotation guys are at least on paper worse than the above.
Are you sure they aren't this bad?
That said....it's the Indians in Arlington...the past few seasons regardless of the Rangers record we have struggled there. Hopefully, this is just a blip.
