Too bad this wasn't all against CC. Oh well, I'll take it.
This will spoil the grand opening for sure.

But, man, this team needed an explosion like this.

Yep. Posada got him for a solo shot, but you can't expect a shutout every time. He got into some jams, but more importantly, he was able to get out of them.

don't get all comfortable... we still gotta go to our bullpen and "closer". We can still pull out a loss.

With the way our pen has been, I wouldn't be surprised if we lost 11-10.
...and our pen has been getting knocked around because we keep going to them in the 3rd inning.

I'm not worried about our closer. I'm worried about GETTING to our closer, however. At 10-2, though, MAYBE we won't need to go to Wood.

Good win.. but giving up 9 hits and 8 walks and only 2 runs... let's just say that's opportunistic pitching..

We've sure given the Yankees a number of their most embarassing defeats. 22-0, 19-1, and now a 10-2 home opening loss.

Same here man, right now it's just hard to watch Refel Perez even throw the baseball. Betancourt is doing a little bit better, but for some reason is still struggling a little bit locating his fastball(talk about today, jesus). On a positive note, the tribe have won two games in a row and maybe this outburst will re-energize the team. Either way, hell of a fun day to be a Tribe fan!

They were talking about that stadium and, man, what a place. They said that in the Yankees locker room, each player has his own cubicle and each cubicle has its own laptop.
But, they said that parking and getting to and from the stadium is a freakin' nightmare.

Boy oh boy, Tribe gave one away today.
5-3 after 5, then give up a run in the 6th, 7th, and 8th.
Then, you face Rivera in the 9th, and there just aren't many teams who can put together a rally on that guy.
Pitching has gotta pick up for this team. What's the longest that a starter has lasted this season? 5th, maybe 6th inning? Next thing you know, you start using your bullpen over and over, and then you start getting limited on who you can use game after game.

not sure if you got the message, but we spanked the yankees in their (billion) dollar opener.
this 3-8 team has at least earned our immediate respect. it wasnt worth a billion, it was a kick in the face to ny baseball fans
we can take that into sat afternoon

Wait that can't be right. Our owner is the cheapest man on the face of the planet according to many of the posters around here. We can't have the 14th highest payroll in MLB,

If that holds up, we'll have 3 of the top 4 most lopsided wins against the Yankees.
Is that 14 runs a record?
