Just a comment....WHY PEEL THE TATERS?....scrub them with a brush and put them in to cook...there is nutrition in the potato skin so why throw it away...eat it.

LOL OK, Mary Ann was my favorite and as you look at her today, you can see why,, the woman aged well... very well indeed.. OK,, to the point, score the potato, Put potato in boiling water for 15 minutes, then put it in Ice water for a few moments, then hand peel the skin off.. Total time to do this,, about 17 minutes.. right... Ahh, but they arn't fully cooked so you have to throw them back into the water... for how long you say,, well, considering they were dunked in cold water, my guess is at least another 15 minutes.. I can peel a potato in less than a minute including cutting it up into smaller chunks, put it in boiling water and 22 to 25 minutes later, I'm ready to make mashed potatos... I'll stick with my way... But damn, she still looks good

It is blanching....and in that amount of time, it isn't cooked all that much.....you will have to finish the job....just makes getting the skin off easier. And yes...Mary Ann still looks great......you gals don't need to worry...as you age, our(mens) eye changes. It's like we see through the fat, the droop, the wrinkles, and still see a 25 year old flowered woman.  Look at us....we can look in the mirror and still think we look great(even if we don't)....well....same holds with the way we see you.

that last sentence.... I wouldn't go THAT far (then again I'm only 41), but I sort of understand Ballpeen's thought process. In the past year or so, I noticed that more and more often I see a women in her late 30s, early 40s as being attractive, sometimes flat-out hot. It rarely happened before. Just sayin'.
