I don't mean to be demeaning, but any semi retard can kick a ball.

If you can't learn to fail, you are going to have a tough time in life.

Play baseball if your want to teach kids how to deal with failure....and that is a important lesson.

If you want to go that route any semi retard can stick his bat out and let the ball hit the bat. Hitting it well, in a effective manner is a completely different matter. There is a lot more to soccer than just " kicking the ball". My son is developing into a pretty good soccer player and he has to work on as many skills as any other sport.

To get back on point though, I will praise my kids for effort, but at the same time I will tell them what they did wrong and what they need to do next time in that same situation. Youth sports is supposed to be all about learning, right?

this probably had something to do with it

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
