Broncos waived RB Selvin Young.

Young was a favorite of Mike Shanahan, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy since high school. With Knowshon Moreno already added to a crowded backfield, he was deemed extraneous after failing a recent physical. Young's best bet is to catch on with a team needing a change-of-pace back, but even then his chances of fantasy value are slim. It wouldn't surprise us if Ryan Torain is the next to go.

Wow.

Watched the preseason game a couple years ago against the Broncos and was really impressed. He's a player.

he gets injured too often and too easily. if he could stay healthy he'd be a decent back.

He can't stay healthy. No need to waste a roster spot.

There will be more cuts. Probably people better then him.

true that his knock is health but the guy has talent. i would have no problem having him come in for a look-see.

He failed his physical.

Yeah, Selvin definitely has talent, but his injuries are ridiculous....I think alot of his problem is his running style....he runs to hard for his size....which is a good thing usually, but he needs to avoid contact a lil bit, and I think he could last maybe half a season....plus, he killed my fantasy football team......

We don't need a player to fill an i.r. spot we have enough of them.

Just my $.02;

I really hate fantasy football references being used in relation to a players "real world" value. That being said, I did indeed have Selvin Young on my fantasy team.

Bring him in, check him out, cut him later, that's my theory.
