You do know the knock on Roy Williams is that he's awful in pass coverage, right?

He's known for his run D, not his pass D.......

I love it when opposing fans come on here, try to talk smack, but are just talking out their ass because they have no idea what they really are talking about.

You can't really blame him. Bengals fans are only fans once every five years so they have a lot of catching up to do in terms of what's going on around the league.

Well Christy, there's really a pretty simple explanation for it.

Bengals fans come out of the woodwork about once every 20 years. When they do, they bring not only their goofy 80s "Who Dey" chant out of hibernation, but also their mullets, acid washed jeans, and REO Speedwagon concert shirts purchased with 20 years of backlogged unemployment checks.

It's alright for you Browns fans to vent in this thread. After all Peter King predicted you as the worst team in the NFL today. Not only last in the AFC North, the 32nd team overall in the NFL.

How long do you guys think your offense will go without scoring a TD this season? Could they possibly add on to last years record?

and in the article he openly admitted that he has done a horrible job predicting the Browns in the past....in fact, the last time he picked us #32, we ended up 10-6. So, exactly, why should it be bad news that he put us there?

The last time King predicted the Browns to be in last place, we went 10-6.

Doesn't say much for the guy, does it?

He also ranks the Bears as 4th best in the NFL.

Kinda like these little fellas who show up just like the natural bandwagon jumpers they are.... Hell, I'll be 56 when they come back, maybe the bungles will get better by then....

Really? You're using predictions as smack?

Okay, I'll use facts:

1. There are people who can vote that have not seen the Bungles win a playoff game.

2. Your team is owned by Mike Brown. Anyone got a picture of that sign they had in Cincy?

At least your fans are resilient and always behind the team, right?

Also, please answer my question. Were you alive to see the Bungles win a playoff game?

Yes I have been alive to witness a Bengal playoff win. Dare I ask if you were alive to witness the 64 Browns championship team? Didn't think so.

I agree...because we all know that no Bengal fan in the history of the franchise has been alive to witness a championship.

Haha, you're hilarious Curly. So, are you going to vanish again if and when the Bungles drop the ball this season?

The weather has always been pretty fair in Cincinnati.

This is a Browns board, not an Indians one. I'm sure you will soon figure out that there are plenty of Reds/Yankees/Red Sox/etc fans on here.

So trying to smack us by bringing up how the Indians are doing is just silly.

Well Browns fans Chick Ludwig has made his game by game predictions on how the Bengals will finish 10-6 although I think the Bengals will at least split with the Ravens and Steelers.

For your own reading pleasure

http://www.daytondailynews.com/blogs/con...ls_will_fi.html

Here's how 2009 Bengals will finish 10-6
By Chick Ludwig

I’m asked this all the time:

How will the Cincinnati Bengals do this season? Where will they finish?

I feel like a broken record because my answer is the same.

They’ll finish 10-6, place second to Pittsburgh in the AFC North Division and earn a wild-card playoff berth.

Agree or disagree? Feel free to post your thoughts in the comments portion of “Ludwig At Large” and please vote on the poll question.

Sun., Sept. 13, DENVER, 1 p.m. — Win (1-0). The Broncos traded QB Jay Cutler to the Bears. I have zero faith in new QB Kyle Orton.

Sun., Sept. 20, at Green Bay, 1 p.m. — Win (2-0). The Bengals beat Green Bay in the ‘08 preseason at Lambeau Field. The good vibes will continue.

Sun., Sept. 27, PITTSBURGH, 4:15 p.m. — Lose (2-1). The Steelers have the Bengals’ number in Cincinnati.

Sun., Oct. 4, at Cleveland, 1 p.m. — Win (3-1). The Browns are awful. The only way the Bengals lose is if they take Cleveland too lightly.

Sun., Oct. 11, at Baltimore, 1 p.m. — Lose (3-2). A statement game. The statement: Bengals haven’t quite arrived yet.

Sun., Oct. 18, HOUSTON, 1 p.m. — Win (4-2). The Bengals owe the Texans one after getting blown out in Houston last season.

Sun., Oct. 25, CHICAGO, 1 p.m. — Win (5-2). Jay Cutler is the new Jeff George. Awesome talent, but never happy.

Sun., Nov. 1, — BYE —

Sun., Nov. 8, BALTIMORE, 1 p.m. — Lose (5-3). The Bengals are 1-4-1 coming off byes under Marvin Lewis. They relax too much.

Sun., Nov. 15, at Pittsburgh, 1 p.m. — Lose (5-4). The Bengals want to beat Pittsburgh so badly that they don’t play well.

Sun., Nov. 22, at Oakland, 4:15 p.m. — Win (6-4). This is the game that turns the season around. The momentum begins here.

Sun., Nov. 29, CLEVELAND, 1 p.m. — Win (7-4). Bengals put Eric Mangini and the Browns in their proper place. Last place.

Sun., Dec. 6, DETROIT, 1 p.m. — Win (8-4). Rookie quarterback Matthew Stafford is fresh meat for the Bengals.

Sun., Dec. 13, at Minnesota, 1 p.m. — Lose (8-5). The Metrodome will be rocking. The Bengals, unable to tackle Adrian Peterson, will be rattled.

Sun., Dec. 20, at San Diego, 4:05 p.m. — Lose (8-6). For being an open-air arena, Qualcomm Stadium gets awfully loud.

Sun., Dec. 27, KANSAS CITY, 1 p.m. — Win (9-6). Back home in the friendly confines of PBS, Bengals get a late Christmas gift.

Sun., Jan. 3, at N.Y. Jets, 1 p.m. — Win (10-6). Bengals know Jets coach Rex Ryan well. He coordinated Ravens’ “D.” The Jets aren’t the Ravens.

Looks like I'll be having the last laugh when Browns fans have the #1 pick in the 2010 draft. For a team that didn't score an offensive TD in the last six games, you sure talk a lot of smack.

The Bengals are going to get some national exposure on HBO this summer. The producer of Hard Knocks said the Bengals are an up and coming team. Has anyone said that about the Browns this offseason? Good Luck next year. You'll surely need it.
