WOW............ I don't know what was more amazing, blowing a 23 point lead again, or that shot by Lebron. Either way, WOWWWWWWWWWWW. Unbelievable, but we're all tied up!  That was the series right there.

Great shot but I am not happy.
Blew a 16 point lead in game one, now a 23 point lead. I thought they learned their lesson in the first game. Now we travel.
Enjoy that great shot, but they have alot to figure out.
How in the world can you fix something...

fun game, but alot of questions to answer..andy on turk/lewis just ain't gonna work..one thing i wonder, how many freakin times can turkoglu get away with that off arm, thats an offensive foul everytime he drives yet they let him do it

I saw that too, cant complain too much but I thought the officiating was pretty bad.

Great shot. Great moment. Tons to be concerned about.
Half court defense is terrible. Outside of LeBron there is no one to guard Turk, Lewis, and Lee. Liked the strategy on Howard tonight. That was one good adjustment by Brown.
I really feel like this series can go either way. The Magic are overall more talented, and they are scrappy like their coach. But the Cavs have LeBron. Can he carry this team? If he can do it this series, he'll have to do it again against either LA or Denver.
I think the Cavs are still a player or two away from being in the championship discussion on a yearly basis.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I'd love to believe that - but I can't.
I don't know a lot about basketball.
Some observations:
- Toward the end of the game, it seemed like Orlando was stepping up, and executing good, sound, shots. - Turkoglu, Petrus, Lewis - executing like NBA players should. - In contrast, toward the end of the game, it seemed like our guys were throwing up prayers - and missing.
- Mo Williams has played terribly over the last two games.
- After watching the 4th quarter, I have no clue how we ever led by 23.
- At this point, Orlando seems like a more sound, fundamental team.

that can't be the same as 'The Shot'....we are the favorites and it didn't win a series....but it sure did save one
also, I don't even know what I would have done if Turkoglu pushing off on Sasha would have decided that game....ridiculous foul call....at least Russell didn't get called for a foul when MJ shoved him out of the way

Quite simply, we play EXTREMELY nervous. Both games, we started out lose in the first half, and then by the second half, the team realizes they need to hold a lead, and play scared. They take panic shots, make mental mistakes, rush wide open shots, etc. You could really see it in the 4th. Guys would get a pass-out on the drive in, and would pause for a second, and decide against shooting it. There were a few possessions where we had excellent ball movement, but then guys would get the ball and be afraid to shoot. When they did shoot, it was with awful form.

I think getting behind actually works in their favor. They start playing like they have nothing to lose, so they are a lot more relaxed when they take their late game shots. Meanwhile, the Cavs start playing scared and start feeding from the paniced energy the crowd understandably gives off.

I saw that with Turkoglu in the Boston series and again in this series. Seriously, you don't see that in anyone who has ever played more than 1 year of organized ball.

orlando is a very streaky team....they know the way they shoot the 3 they are never out of a game.
they were way behind against philly, boston and now us and they know they can shoot their way back in it...they just have to keep shooting and wait to get hot
the flip side, is if they do start one of these games, we have to be patient and keep doing what we do knowing that they won't stay hot the whole game....that's the biggest reason they are a tough matchup, it's more mental than anything else

I really don't think we're in as much trouble as others might.
Mo is such a big part of this team and he has been AWFUL these first two games. Williams is 13-40 from the floor, 3-14 from 3. There's no way he shoots this bad the entire series.
We're very fortunate (obviously) for this thing to be tied given how poorly our second best player has played. When he's playing well, it eliminates one help defender and makes it a lot easier on Delonte and LeBron to get to the basket. When he's not, the congestion in the lane is just ridiculous. Unless Mo can score some points and alleviate some of that pressure (in the lane), it's going to be really tough for us. It's just a chain reaction.
Also, we have a quality bench that has really been flat. Can't imagine that lasts the entire series. Joe really put us in a hole tonight with his foul trouble. The only player on the team who's played well is LeBron. Everyone else has been below average and that may be a little too kind.
Defense is the main issue IMO. It was a little better tonight but Boston really clamped down on Orlando, even without Garnett. Boston was playing a majority of the games in the high 80's, low 90's. To win, that's where we need to be.
To be honest, I think the Cavs just are not playing all that hard on D. Most of it seems to be false effort like flying, out of control, to "contest" a shot. It's getting us completely out of position on rebounds or if the player pump fakes and drives. Cleveland REALLY needs to assert itself on defense to get one of these next 2.
As I'll continue to say......shooters can't stay hot forever (Orlando), nor can they stay cold forever (Cleveland). If we'd make A FEW shots, we'd look like a totally different team.
Sunday should be interesting. Props to LeBron for pulling a rabbit out of a hat tonight.

The Cavs have of course built big leads and, of course, lost them. The Magic have not had that luxury. I have yet to see a game of this series though. My son recorded the first and deleted it since we lost and he forgot to record tonight's. I listened to the final 30 seconds at my desk at work compliments of ESPN.com's radio link.
I did find it interesting that TNT's crew were noting that the Cavs need find solutions, but, as noted, the Magic are yet to run away at any time. That is not to say the there aren't obvious defensive issues. LeBron noted as much during his on court post game interview. When he speaks critically of team play I am sure all listen, but I believe it means that much more after taking the team on his shoulders, winning it and then speaking out. I only hope all of our other Cavs find it in themselves to exceed expectations.
This "Shot" naturally was a joy to watch (even if it was replay). I also love watching the players and crowd reaction. I saw pure joy as Z ran to LeBron. I wonder if the kid that they showed the close up of while he was in disbelief as Orlando went up 2 is the same that was at court side and near Mo when The King hit the winner. He was then a spinnng, fist pumping in the air, 3 foot embodiment of pure bliss. Good for you kid....a memory for a lifetime. It is a privilege to watch LeBron play.

Sorry gang, for as confident as I was going into this series, I firmly now believe that this series won't make it back to Cleveland and Orlando will advance.
The team blows 16 and 23 point leads in consecutive games, AT HOME, and has to win on a miraculous buzzer beating 3 pointer by Lebron to avoid being down 0-2?
Van Gundy has got to be licking his chops and has, in my belief, outcoached Mike Brown in this series.
Brown better get his head out of his rear and figure out how to contain the Magic's perimeter shooting or this season was a wasted effort.

I not only agree with you, Cavs got a lot of home cooking tonight. A number of fouls were 'either-way' and we're gonna see that come back to bite them in Orlando if they don't get a lead and Keep It!

Yep, there's no basking in this limited glory for me. Just hope we can come back home at least tied.
