Atlantis----that is a good one.

It is easy to be emotionally involved concerning the rebuilding of the parts of N.O. devastated by the flooding. The fact remains that some places should not be rebuilt because of the difficulty of protecting people and property from the next flooding occurance. Sometimes it is worse to rebuild in dangerous places than to just do nothing....see insurance rates in flood planes.

Really, we're back to his middle name already? The GOP machine must be unjustly (from what I've seen so far) scared of Obama to keep having his middle name mentioned so much...

Yeah, and the attacks were horrific. "Do you want someone named... Walker... running your country? What does he think he is, some sort of Texas ranger? Think about that when you go to the polls. This ad is not supporting any particular candidate and has no affiliation to the Democratic National Committee. Paid for by Citizens against Chuck Norris references". Those ads were EVERYWHERE!

"CNN apologizes for Obama gaffe in Bin Lauden graphic"

http://donsingleton.blogspot.com/2007/01/cnn-apologizes-for obama-gaffe-in-bin.html

"The Raw Story reported A

Monday night broadcast of CNN's Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer confused America's "number one enemy" with one of America's most popular senators, RAW STORY has learned. CNN apologized for the error, which came after a series of incidents in recent months in which Illinois Democrat Senator Barack Obama was subtly or directly linked with militant Islamic personalities who have been hostile to the United States.
His middle name is Hussain and his father was a Muslim.
During the Jan. 1 broadcast of Wolf Blitzer's nightly news program, a pre-commercial preview of the show's next segment included a story on the hunt for Al Qaeda's leadership. Over a photo of Osama Bin Laden and his second-in-command Ayman Al-Zawahiri, Blitzer stated, according to the transcript, "Plus, a new year, but the same mission. Will 2007 bring any new changes in the hunt for Osama bin Laden?" But instead of asking "Where's Osama?" the graphic over the two Islamists read "Where's Obama?" referencing the surname of popular Illinois Democratic Senator Barack Obama.

I wonder how much Hillary had to pay them to make that mistake........

A later segment of the show, which took up the topic of the 2008 presidential election, did discuss Senator Obama's political prospects if he chooses to run for president. Blitzer apologized during this morning's coverage of the Gerald Ford funeral. "I just want to make a correction, an apology, Soledad, for what we did yesterday. In 'The Situation Room,' we had a bad graphic,"
Sounds like John Kerry and his "bad joke". Kerry is a bad joke, and so is CNN.

No matter how anyone wants to look at the first election it was wrong... Even if dumbaya was on the recieving end... Some of you are amazing...

Why aren't any of you Bushy's dealing with his job perfomance and the fact that he is one of the biggest jokes in presidential history?

Get back to me when you have more than the obvious he won the elections didn't he... Casue we all know thats all he did, that and being a total fricken global ment. Bush Jr. sucks... Period. Always has and always will. We all know it... Until anyone here can prove otherwise, don't bother wasting our time with more BS excuses... Just waiting to see the future legal issues start to rear their ugly heads for this pile... It should be interesting...

Well Boise we are glad to see you have an open mind on this subject.
"...No matter how anyone looks at the first election was wrong..."
I presume you mean that the sitting VP for 8 years couldn't beat an unsophisticated Texas governor with no national exposure. That this sitting VP couldn't win his home states electoral votes? That he chose to refuse the help of the sitting President of 2 full terms to speak on his behalf.
Yes, you are right THAT IS WRONG IF NOT STUPID!!!!!

As a libertarian I am upset at most of Bush's initiatives but the prosecution of the war on Islamic killers was the only reason I voted for him the second time around. He failed to be as aggressive as he should have been from the start and listened to the state departments advice on fighting a humane war instead of a brutal conflict which would leave a few pyschological marks on the asses of a few Islamic clerics. Hell now we are going to have to take down Pres. AlmondJoy of Iran with the navy and air force soon. Bye bye

Obama does not scare me because he does not have a chance to win. What does scare me is that the Libs can't find any better candidates than a Muslum raised man or a former First Lady.

Just wait till next season, I have heard that for over 40 years!
