Greetings to all from Memphis, TN. Just an update from my recent globe trotting. I've been to Beale Street, B.B. King's Blues Club, Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken (Which was the BEST chicken I've EVER had), rolled by Graceland (didn't care enough about Elvis to pay $44 to tour it) National Civil Rights Musem and Lorraine Motel (which completed my MLK sites (the rest being in Atlanta)). Anybody else been to Memphis? Where'd ya go? What'd ya do?

I sat in the airport for 4 hours waiting for a connecting flight. Have a great time!!!

I was there once in the late 80's. Think I went to Holiday Inn, and IHop, then heading back on the road the next morning.

Memphis is a nice place. I enjoyed myself. Plenty to see and do. Don't know if I'd live there, but I'd consider it strongly. The weather kind of sucked to me. When it was raining buckets, it was hot as hades!
