We've sort of had this thread before. Basically, anything weird or interesting about you. It was a ball last time, lets see if this one can be as good. I'll start:
I'm legally blind and used to wear hearing aids. I've never had under a 4.0 GPA despite medical issues causing me to miss a lot of school. I'm a combination of geek and sports loser. I read books like crazy, know tons of useless facts, am a history freak, yet I am obsessed with sports. Despite loving sports, I suck at them. I have a mini library and have read each Harry Potter at least 3 times.
I hate the media despite being a part of it. There are few quality members out there. I live in the town next to dawg66. There are about 5,000 people between both towns. I like all music except hip hop and rap. And that weird stuff like Rick Ashtley. I think Jules is nice.

I've always been a huuuuge history geek.
A good buddy (sadly deceased) was a well known historian specializing in the American Civil war and I travelled to many a field with him and learned so much that I'm routinely asked to accompany folks to Gettysburg, Antietam and other fields to give them a personal tour.
I've assisted him in a few movies (he was a tech advisor) and have been in them also. Included in those are Glory, Gettysburg, the North South miniseries, The Blue and the Gray miniseries and numerous documentaries.
I'm also a big WWII nut having been to Normandy a few times, Holland and Bastogne with a number of vets including some of famed Band of Brothers vets.
A big collector of militaria I have or have had nearly every weapon/uniform from most eras as well as many antique vehicles which I often restore and resell or keep.

My Uncle Buck crossed Normandy on Day 3 or 4 with an anti-tank weapons company,....I would love to go and just pay my respects to those fallen who are buried there.
Buck made it home, but died in a 60's car crash.
As pointed out in the "Hobbies Thread," I love music and old cars.
For 'fun'....I fancy myself as the fifth best drummer to ever come out of Youngstown,...nobody ever heard of me though because I ain't really that good. It's like the fallen tree in the woods -- only me hears me in the basement.

I salute your uncle Buck! I contend that when the last of the WWII vets die, the world will seem a less safe place!

My hearing is at 66% - at least it was the last time I was checked. It's gotten worse, I know.
The closest I was allowed to get to a gun as a child was shooting my brothers bb gun. No one taught me or showed me how to hunt - and I didn't start hunting till age 34 or so.
I've been fired. One of the best things that ever happened to me.
Contrary to what some may think - I've mellowed out alot in the last 15 years.

I can relate to this. I was fired back in February, and love my new job. Making a lot more money, doing a lot less work, and doing work I enjoy a lot more. Getting fired was the best thing that could have happened to me.

"They" say like 1,000 die every day,...there just cannot be that many left, simply by age. Even if you snuck in at 15 on Pearl Harbor day, that would make you 82. That's up there for a vet, let alone any American that didn't serve.
The world won't be less safe because they will be gone; it is already less safe because society refuses to let them pollenate.

I love history stuff and love learning useless facts.
I absolutely refuse to be intimidated by any person. I always assume that there is somewhat smarter, bigger, and better than that person, so why should I be intimidated?
I have an uncanny knack for remembering song lyrics. I'm also pretty good with names. My memory is one of my strong suits, although there are some obvious things that I can never remember.
If I gave more than 5% effort when I was in college, I'd be surprised, yet I never got below a B. That's what happens when you only enroll in classes that you already know the material (i.e. WWII, the Civil War, US History, Congress, etc.).
My wife is 7 years older than me and looks about 2 years younger than me.
The blanket around Jim Thorpe in the Pro Football Hall of Fame was donated by either my great-uncle or great-grandfather (I can't remember which).
When I was young, I wanted to be a paleontologist.
I picked out all the music for my wedding (a portion of Corelli's Christmas Concerto for when the wedding party walked down the aisle, the opening to the Royal Fireworks Suit for when my wife walked down the aisle, and some others that don't matter quite as much).
I saved all my change over a 1 year period and had enough to play one hand of $100 blackjack at the Bellagio (I won).
I came in 2nd place for "most likely to become a comedian" in HS and I never forgot it, mostly because the kid I lost to was not and is not funny in the least. He was just friends with all the football players and their hangers-on.
I can type about 95 wpm.
I have never shot a gun and never really plan on it.
I once drank 12 yoo-hoos in one day and I swear I could see my heart beating through my shirt.
I've played a round of golf and had an eagle on one hole and a 9 on another hole in the same round.
I can easily touch the rim in basketball (even though I'm only 5'10") and hope to improve so I can dunk.
I drove a bus as a job in college.
I think I'm going to name my son (due August 31) after that great Browns player, Nu'u Fa'aola.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

Geez, you made me think.
I gave 100% in college - the night before tests. That's why I can still drink a pot of coffee and think nothing of it.
I could dunk in high school - 1 handed, 2 handed. I can't touch the rim anymore. I'm 6' 2".
I can't remember our anniversary date, let alone the music from our wedding.
I used to climb trees, our t.v. antenna tower - when I was 8 to probably 16. I'm scared of heights now, in a big way.
I used to catch snakes when I was young - can't stand them or the sight of them now.

I am a 7th generation American veteran.
I've been to 37 states, and 17 countries. And I've never been to Mexico. lol. (I find that hilarious).
Overall, I am told I'm very sarcastic and (I quote) "not fluffy enough" in my demeanor.

Through my Italian ancestry, I should a Countess, but the last known Count broke the law and fled Italy under the Esposito name (which my Dad says is just Italian for Smith)/
Through my husband, I am related to Eleanor Roosevelt, Charlamagne, the Scottish King portrayed in MacBeth (was it Duncan?) and some German royalty.
If I'd have been a boy, my name would have been Joseph.

That got me thinking as well.
I have an insane memory. Hence me knowing every player on the Browns' name, height, and weight. I never forget someone's name.
I'm taller than both my mom, dad, and all of my uncles.
I have a very strong personality and am very prone to debate. People who don't know me well think I'm very serious due to my grades and reputation for being smart, and often find me offensive since they take me seriously. I'm more serious on here than in real life. Probably because you can't tell tone on the internet.

I'm 100% Italian.
I wore a back brace in the summer between 7th and 8th grade due to an injury pitching the summer before that. It took a year to finally diagnose it.
My dad and uncles were all known as Ammo too.
I may or may not be related to Joe DiMaggio, there's a fuzzy possible family tie there.
My grandma was one of the first female entrepreneurs back in the 1940's. Ted Williams once hung out outside of her seamstress shop and my grandma told him to get lost.
I have a geeky side when it comes to technology and gadgets.
Before I was a football fan, I was a baseball fan.
I could hit a baseball as soon as I could walk.
Senior year I was #1 on my football team in bench press, dumbbell bench press, incline bench press and dumbbell incline bench press.
I'm at a point in my life where I want nothing more than to start my career, as much as I love Athens and look forward to going back for one final quarter, I wish I could start a "real job" tomorrow.
The possibility of Browns season tickets and family being in the area keep me wanting to stay around the Cleveland area, no further than Columbus.

I've known 4 people who've died fishing in Alaska, but hundreds who havent'.
I once saved a guys life when he got tangled up in a crab pot going overboard. I tackled him and held on while we were dragged 40 feet by the line around his foot. Our combined weight freed him right was we hit the rail.
I once shot a woodpecker with my BB gun, had to then actually kill it as I'd wounded it.......and cried. Never shot at anything that I haven't eaten since.
I've caught 10lb waleye, 18lb silver salmon, 55lb King Salmon, and a 101lb halibut, but I'm most proud of a 13 inch perch from lake erie on a fathersday trip w/my dad.
My Mom was in the Royal Ballet before meeting my dad in Italy at Lucky Luciano's cafe.
Like most on here I'll bet I read a lot. Mostly for me it's scifi. My favorite types of music are heavy metal and bluegrass.

Scared of big harry Spiders.........( GM leave that one alone ) Weather buff, watch weather channel 75% of the time, turn it on and watch it for hours. lived thru two Tornado's and wanna go thru a hurricane, wanted to become a weather man when growing up. Will go storm chasing in the midwest some year. Also taught myself to hunt & fish, born in the country, but with two sisters, no brothers.I'm a excellent cook and can cook just about anything. Love the Carabean islands, would move thier in a minute, but would miss deer season. Love beer, favorate drink, but dont drink every day, will sometimes go two or three days without drinking a beer. I'm a loner, not a people person, not good with just talking, but work with people all day and do alot of charity work with others for others, but enjoy my alone time. Hate talking on the phone, say what ya have to say get off. In 30 years of work I've called in sick once, when I really wasnt sick. Bob Marley & Jimmy Buffett are my two favorate musicans, I'm a parrethead which is really strange becuase it dosent fit my hunting, fishing, outdoors style people think of or see me.

Ya....Ted is right up thier, Met Ted many times and shot bow with Ted, Ok Ted was shooting in the same range as me, but what a great guy, Ted talked about hunting and respecting the outdoors for about 2 hours after shooting after awhile it was like Ted was just another guy. Living an hour from Jackson, Michigan where Ted has a place, we've crossed paths a number of times. Great Great Guy.

Can't say I "know" anyone famous, except maybe the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and he wouldn't remember me now anyway. I'm sure you're as good a dude as Ted is. Wish I could play as well as he does,....

I love TV shows that teach me something (History channel, discovery channel, HGTV, etc)
I love period films, especially 1920-1960's, and the middle ages.
I enjoy gardening and find it extremely challenging in South Florida (poor soil, extreme drought periods, extreme wet periods, extreme heat)
I have an uncanny ability to remember faces if they catch my eye for just a few seconds. Even just people I pass in public I will recognize months later, it may take a while to recall where I had seen them, but given time I usually can replay the scene in my head. But I suck at remembering names. I usually need to be told someones name 3-4 times before I start to remember it.
I can recall dreams almost every night with extreme detail.
I'm a jack of all trades, and a master at none. Which goes with the education television thing. I love to learn how to do things, and how things work. I will take apart a broken item and dissect it before I dispose of it.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

This is a pretty neat thread going...
Like some have said, I really enjoy learning about history. I prefer American history (in particular the Revolutionary and Civil War Eras)
I could eat Subway for every meal...I love that stuff
My favorite sport to watch is football, but my favorite sport is basketball. Our team won the 2007 state basketball championship in Pennsylvania.
I am a movie junky...whether it is going to the movies or seeing them at home, they're a big hobby.
I never thought I would want an IPod, but now I can't live without one (especially while working out)
My favorite Browns player growing up was Eric Metcalf.
My favorite Browns player now is Josh Cribbs.
I clearly have something with return men haha.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

- My last name means "jelly doughnut" in Polish....and yet I don't like them. - I moved to Chicago 9+ years ago where I started my career, met my wife, got married, started a family and to this day I still say I'm a "Clevelander". And even then, I grew up in Medina County. - I walk to work every day. - I've listened to the same three bands since early high school (RHCP, Smashing Pumpkins and Janes Addiction). And I'm still not bored with them. - I have two tattoos. A Spider-man in a web on my upper right arm (about 7X5) and an octopus on my upper left arm from the top of my shoulder to near my elbow (all the way around the arm - like a 1/3 sleeve). And I eventually want to get a 3/4 or full sleeve. - I used to take great pride with my hair......but on a whim, I buzzed my head 5 years ago and have yet to grow it back. It's just easier to maintain. - I'm a Chicago Bears season ticket holder. And I can't stand them (mostly due to that Cleveland/Chicago game that Couch lost in overtime with a pick 6). It's fun tailgating and watching the games in person. - I had a 3.7 GPA in my major.....but a 1.9 elsewhere. I didn't like wasting my time with the history of Canada or Accounting. So I didn't try very hard. - I have an extra space between my big and index toe....where another toe could fit. I think it makes me a good tree climber. My wife thinks I'm a freak. My daughter has the same space too. - I sit. (you might remember that thread regarding toilet paper) - I wear socks at ALL times unless I'm sleeping, showering, swimming or .....uhhh the other thing. I even wear socks with sandals. - I can't grow facial hair, have almost NO hair on my arms and yet, I have crazy hairy legs. Odd. - While hiding from the cops in the attic of my college apartment, I fell through the ceiling (I was underage and VERY drunk). - I once bruised my pubic bone sliding into a base in softball. I didn't even know a bone by that name existed. I couldn't walk for 2 days. - I'm AMAZING at NHL 95 for the Sega Genesis. Trust me, I'm that good. Outside of that, I'm marginal at every other game. - Most people have slightly different sized feet (maybe a half size). My right foot is a whole size smaller than my left. It makes buying shoes impossible. - Almost every part of my body cracks. And very loudly too. - I wear my Browns, Indians and Cavs gear to any Chicago sporting event even when a Cleveland team isn't playing here. - Anything related to planets, moons, galaxies, black holes and space travel amazes me to no end. Off to a meeting.....I think that's enough anyway.

I recently retired from Sprint after 32 years.
I played Semi- Pro baseball as a young guy.
I signed up to attend Ohio State then joined the Navy before classes started.
I met my wife in Boston. She is Boston Irish.
I worked for the Tampa Bay Rays as a parking attendent during Spring training.
I broke down on the lake last Thursday and had to pay a tow boat $750 dollars to get back.
I worked a summer at Gem Beach pumping boat gas after retiring. Great job if you're not offended by women in skimpy bathing suits
I love the Browns and Indians but if anybody asks me I say I hate them and they are unwatchable.
I benchpressed 150# 42 times a couple of days ago. Not great but not bad for a old guy.
I have a 9yo Grandson who says Ohio is a lot more exciting than Las Vegas where he lives.

I'm the same except my favorite sport is baseball. I hate basketball.
I'm obsessed with WWII and all American presidents. I intend to become president after I am an NFL GM for 30 years.
I am career obsessive. Even now, I'm worrying about my career.
I am conflicted between taking the easy route of being a doctor (ironic, not?) or the route I really want to go with as a baseball/football GM or sportswriter.
My dad, brother, and sister are all very athletic. I am the exact opposite.

So what your saying is you have selective hearing, when the wife talks is it 76%....
I know mine is...I can hear a deer 200 yards away step on a twig, but when the wife 10 feet away asks me to carry something up from the basement it's what did ya say, or Honey I didnt even hear ya....
Nah, the selective hearing loss is much worse for me.
My hearing is much worse when, obviously, there is background noise. I find myself reading lips to help with it.
I am scared of doctors.
I'm very sentimental - cried last fathers day when my daughter gave me a poem (that her mom bought of course, but had framed). I cry at little things, big things, just thinking about things, etc.
I'm a tightwad, even though we have 4 four wheelers, a golf cart, an r.v. (maybe I'm a tightwad because of that?)
I'm very competitive in everything I do - it used to be a fault, but I'm mellowing a bit.
In high school basketball, I'd cut my thumbnails to a point so I could slash the players on the other team. I used to be the kind of guy that I would love to hate if that makes sense.
I love to remodel kitchens. Some of you may remember the pictures I posted of my house - before and after.
I love to mow. So does my wife, and so does my son. A few years ago I had to hide the keys to the mower so they wouldn't do it.
I was finally able to show my wife that just mowing wasn't good enough - we needed perfectly straight lines in the yard - north to south one time, east to west the next, then diagonally the third time. (when she finally accepted that it looked better, and was better for the yard, I gave in on letting her mow more often - but it's still a battle - she usually leaves the yard behind the pond for me - because it's bumpier)
My son has gone from thinking I'm a crazy, overbearing, not with it at all dad to actually telling my wife (his step mom) "I'm glad dad made me save most of my money". And, "my friends think I have a great dad". Things he has yet to say to me, and probably never will. And that's fine with me, he doesn't need to - just knowing that he thinks that is gratifying enough.
I help out in my daughters class at least once a month, if not more. K-2nd grade so far - and this year will be 3rd grade.
I've coached her soccer teams and basketball teams, and I think I have more fun than the kids do.
It's awesome to walk down the hall at school and have so many kids so "hi Mr. "?", do you remember me?"

I once served tacos to Mike Baab when he was at an autograph event (had to have been in about 1990). I got a personalized autograph from him.
"Lisa, Thanks for the tacos! Mike Baab #61"
(though, over the nearly 20 years and after 9 moves, I've misplaced the autograph, I hope to find it amongst my stuff someday).

I played against Brady Quinn when he was at Dublin Coffman. He crushed us though.... I was a 3 sport athlete in high school. I played football, basketball and track. I am 6''1 but I am the 2nd tallest person in my family. I was able to play WR in high school and I was a walk-on at OSU. I am currently a strength and conditioning coach at my old high school.

*I know the exact day I became a diehard Browns fan: Jan. 17, 1988, the Fumble Game. Prior Ão that, they were just another team and I was a lukewarm Chargers fan. * My wife is the best friend I ever had. If someone ever hurt her badly, I would kill them. No problem-o. *Because of what I used to do for a living, I have met and interviewed several NHL hall of famers: Darryl Sittler, Mike Bossy, Lanny McDonald, Bobby Hull, Gerry Cheevers (ex-Bruins goalie), Doug Gilmour (he'll likely be in the hall soon). I've also interviewed pitcher 'Spaceman' Bill Lee, hall of fame catcher Gary Carter, & Paul Zukauskus and Mark Campbell after the Falcon game in 2002. In the Browns locker room that day, I was two stalls away from William Green, but he was surrounded by the media. He was wearing a St. Louis Cardinals cap, light blue color. That was the only time I've been to Cleveland. I also saw Tim Couch on crutches outside the locker room doing a TV interview. * People have told me I make the best chili they've ever tasted. * I met my teenaged rock hero three years ago and had my picture taken with him (Myles Goodwyn, singer/guitarist with April Wine). Meeting him, for me, was like a Beatles fan meeting McCartney. * What people like best about me: my sense of humor. it probably doesn't translate well on the Internet, but I'm funny as hell in person. Not that I'm bragging, it only sounds that way. * What people like least about me: I procrastinate, and sometimes I am selfish (not with money, but with my comfort and my time). * I have a fair amount of grey hair, but refuse to dye it even though I'm just 42. * I used to drink a lot but in the past six months or so I've cut way down. * I've met three current and former Canadian Prime Ministers (believe me, that's nothing to brag about). * I like kids, but I don't like them enough to have any of my own (other people's kids, I love). I'm a good babybsitter cuz they don't get away with murder, yet they have fun & I watch them like a hawk.

Weather buff, watch weather channel 75% of the time, turn it on and watch it for hours. lived thru two Tornado's and wanna go thru a hurricane, wanted to become a weather man when growing up. Will go storm chasing in the midwest some year.
I've been through several hurricanes, including a catagory 5. The eye passed overhead at noon, and us kids were able to go out an play for about an hour. It was like being in a large gray tube with the sun overhead. Military housing in Guam is really sturdy. It's 8 hours of waiting for something bad to happen, and really quite boring.
I've spoken to several ghosts in my lifetime, including my grandfather who slapped me across the face when I fell asleep driving. He'd been dead for over 10 years and still left me with a black eye.
I don't hunt, but I love to hike. Three days in the woods with nothing by my food, water, and gear on my back is a good vacation for me. I figure I have no right to hunt until I can sneak up on a deer and slap it on the butt. Besides, I have nowhere to put the meat.
I grew up in northern Maryland and became a Browns fan. I got to see the Browns/steelers games every year, and couldn't stand the steelers.
I've had a computer in my home since 1980, but I don't consider myself a computer geek. The computer language I learned in 1980 has been obsolete since 85.
I've broken my nose over 20 times in fights or football games. The last time I managed to mold it into a fairly presentable nose.

I'll bite. Haven't been on this site in awhile. Another site I frequent is becoming lame, so I thought I'd come back here. I'm half-blind, half-deaf and adopted from the Philippines. My birth mother had rubella. My siblings are adopted too but they're from El Salvador. Parents picked them up from San Salvador smack dab in the middle of a civil war ('80 to '92). I met Alex Trebek twice in '89 and was on the Morning Exchange on Channel 5 in Cleveland. I was in a Pierre's Ice Cream commercial in '89 or '90. Can't remember which year. I'm looking at leaving journalism due to the low pay and people's view of it (lower than car salesmen). It's as dead end as working at AutoZone or retail. I'm writing a novel about a girl who sees Our Lady (The Blessed Virgin Mary) My favorite book is "Boy's Life" by Robert McCammon. I ran cross-country in high school but wasn't good enough to qualify for a scholarship to run at KSU. I almost made it to the national spelling bee in 7th grade but got beat by home-schoolers. Fail. My first memory of the Browns was them playing IN Houston at the House of Pain and I thought the powder-blue unis of the Oilers were pretty. I've been told by about 20 people in the last month to go back to grad school. I used to design and engineer automobiles in high school and wanted to go to Cleveland Institute of Art. I still draw cars as a hobby but know that's a dead career too. I love old cars from the '50 and '60s and going to car shows. Plus the music is great from that time period. I'm 25 and first heard oldies in '90 or '91 on WMJI when they were great. I taught myself how to play piano (not as good as my friend Paula) after watching a 60 Minutes special on Autistic children but whatever. I love Italian food, and if I met "The One" the first place I'd take her on a date is Trattatoria in Little Italy, followed by Mass, then a play. If it's a Sunday, a Browns game.

I know the Columbus highschool and Ohio State football scenes pretty well,...I might have seen you play while scouting Quinn for one of the Hilliard schools.

I love outdoor cooking. I have a griller/smoker, and am out 3-4 times per week. I knock it back to once every other week during the Winter. Backpacking, canoeing, kayaking are all hobbies of mine. My idea of a dream vacation is anywhere in the backcountry which allows me to go days without seeing another Human Being. I hunt with a camera. To me, it takes the same outdoor skills to get "that perfect shot" as a hunter with a rifle or shotgun. Plus, I carry out the same poundage as I carried in. (I probably don't eat as well, tho-) I've idolized My Parents for all my life. They adopted me as as a baby, and I still believe to this day that their parenting of me is proof positive that there exists a God, who takes care of His lost and abandoned. In my 20's, I studied Eugue-Ryu Karate (Japanese/Okinawan), and worked out 6 days a week for 5 years straight. I skipped ALL the promotion ceremonies, but could compete with brown and black belts at any time. I can still go through 3 or 4 katas, but I'm a bit slower than I used to be. As a result of all that training, I'm 53 years old now, and just lost my 6-pack in the last year or so. (Gotta get back in the dojo, I guess...) It's killing me. I eat one complete meal per day, and graze the rest of the time. I'm right-handed, but bat left-handed. (Pops was a southpaw, and taught me the only way he knew) My Father was a police officer. I grew up in a house with no fewer than 10 guns, and was taught to shoot at age 12, yet have no fascination for them whatsoever. After his death, I sold all but his .38 service revolver, which I wouldn't hesitate to use in defense of my home and my wife. At work, I'm considered the "class clown." I play music for a living, and teach private lessons on the side to make extra cash. For over 20 years, I've always had at least one student whom I teach pro bono, or at a fee of "whatever the parent can afford." Sometimes, it's as little as 3 dollars per lesson, in a studio where my going rate is 50/hr. I do this to honor of the most influential teacher I ever had, who slashed his lesson fee in half, so My Parents could afford to have me study with him when I was a kid. In this way, I feel I'm honoring all three of them, while helping those who otherwise couldn't afford to give their kids something extra in life. 3 or 4 have gone on to college to study music on scholarships. I consider this to be my greatest accomplishment. I've met scores of famous musicians/entertainers and singers/songwriters, and have only been star-struck by 5: Mstislav Rostropovich, Bobby McFerrin, Dizzy Gillespie, Yo-Yo Ma and Ray Charles. In every case, these fantastic artists made me feel comfortable enough to relax, and wonderful conversations came as a result. They really are just folks like us. I still look forward to tomorrow, and have many things I still wish to do. One of those things is to produce an indy CD of my cello playing... doing covers of Jazz, Rock, R&B classics, as well as a few originals. (If I ever get something on YouTube, I'll be sure to share with My Dawgs at Dawgtalkers... just be kind, OK?)

I'm not very interesting.... pretty much just middle of the road, everyday guy. I'm a male nurse, currently promoted as the interim manager on my unit. (I'll be back at my old position sometime in the future). I'm a movie and music buff, but have kind of slowed down on them. I used to watch every movie that came out, memorize all kinds of quotes, but nowadays with a kid, it's hard to be able to sit and watch without being interrupted. So we don't watch hardly any now. I have a little girl who many on here know about. She was born with a condition called an omphalocele. Several of her organs were on the outside of her abdomen when she was born, and she developed acid reflux and feeding issues after she was born as well. She's 3 now, but just was weighed last week at 20lbs. for the first time (with her clothes on...). But she's very bright and adorable. She'll need to have another surgery to get her liver back where it needs, and repair the hernia and scar from the initial surgery. I've only seen a few famous people in person, not including going to sporting events/camps. The famous one of all would be Michael Jackson. In a magic shop in Vegas. I also watched my father-in-law play Texas Hold 'Em at the same table as Webster (Emmanuel Lewis). Have been told multiple times by many people that I look like Edward Norton. I also get a lot of, "you look familiar, do I know you?" I don't know if I just have that kind of face, or people are associating me with Edward Norton. I just had someone tell me that yesterday. Never played sports for school, but in little leagues. I originally played soccer, ending up on the all-star team, traveling squad, and was ultimately picked to play for a team called The Sons of Italy. I quit shortly after to focus on playing video games and hanging with friends. Yeah, I regret it now. Played some baseball. Was an excellent outfielder, but sucked at hitting. Played 1 year of football, but was too small. By far the smallest kid on the team. I did play TONS of pick up football and b-ball games, and was pretty good I thought for my size. Was wide open all day, baby.

I was a jingle singer in Los Angeles for 5 years where I met my wife. I sang TV and radio spots for JC Pennys, Coors Light, Bud Light, Coke, Cadillac and a slew of regional spots. I really dropped the ball when I moved to NY and I've had very little luck reviving my career. I have a terrible short term memory but a much better long term one. I do two very different jobs now. I work about 30 hours a week designing and overseeing a crew installing wireless networks in large residential buildings in NYC. My second gig is doing anything and everything audio for film and TV. I recently mixed and scored a film written and directed by the the writer of The Wrestler and I'm currently doing some additional location sound for a BBC movie about a NY cabbie. I introduced Donald Fagen of Steely Dan fame to the hip hop mogul Fat Joe in an elevator. Neither really knew who the other was and it was an awkward moment. I was friends with Ringo Starr's nephew in LA and attended a really weird yet super celeb heavy charity fund raiser dinner at his house. Won't get into it here but it was among the the most surreal nights of my life. I quit the football team in college and played rugby instead. I still love rugby passionately. I once lived in a house as the only male amongst 6 lesbians. I was the clean one. It was like living in animal house in college only much more drama. I moved to LA in the 90's and when my band signed a contract with EMI records and a mgmt contract with Arthur Spivak. We did a record in a big studio, went to crazy parties and lived like rock stars for 6 months. Then EMI decided it no longer wanted to be a record company in the US and essentially dropped it's US roster and pulled back to England. The party was over. I love my two children so much it scares me. My wife is the most emotionally generous person I know and I'm learning how to be an involved, selfless parent from her. I married very very well. Financially we're barely getting by but we're very happy. I can honestly say we're one one of the happiest families I know. The house is always full of laughter and loud talking and singing. I was in the cross fire of a gang killing years ago and pulled a man who was shot in the head out of a car (per med instructions over the phone) to prop up his feet and tend to his wound when he died in my arms. I've had no few than 40 jobs in my life time. Coming home from touring with my band I would take whatever job I could get for a month or two until we headed out on the road again. The list is beyond comical. I was arrested 6 times before I was 18 and never again since. I quite doing all drugs and drinking at 24 years old and I've never looked back. I used to read a lot. Was an English lit major, history minor in college and read voraciously until my kids were born. Now it just seems like I never have the time. When I was 6 years old I stopped talking for almost a year. I don't know why. They tested me like crazy for autism etc and then I just snapped out of it. Might of had something to do with being the youngest of 8 kids clamoring for attention from two alcoholic parents but I have no memory of it. I pretty much hate TV, always have. I pretty much only watch consistently in the fall .

I thought of some other things (since I know you were all dying for more from me ) I firmly believe that, similar to the book 1984, the people who yell the loudest are often the ones who have the most to hide. For example, people who are extremely racist are the ones who have a mistress that's another race. People who are extremely religious are often the most despicable people (extremely two-faced). I fall into that category as well. I can't stand stereotypes and speak out against them whenever I can, but I stereotype religious people. I am a registered Democrat, but I am very conservative when it comes to things like the death penalty, national security, and welfare. Heck, I'd be all for ending social security. Why should I have to pay taxes so some old person doesn't have to work? I don't want to pay for younger people not to work, same should go for older people.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism
