Exactly as I figured. I'm sure LBJ is writhing in agony that this got out! Someone wanted to pay big bucks for that!? You know what P.T. Barnum said about a fool and his money!

yeah, the game was not even going at full speed for the high school level.
some kid ran up and wanted to make a name for himself, lebron half attempted, looked much worse than it really was.
i dunno who's decision it was to go watergate on this whole thing, but i think someone overreacted, whether it be lebron, lebron's people, or nike.
you know it's summer and baseball sucks when stuff like this is big news.
p.s. props to tmz for blowing this up like it was gonna be lebron on kg in the playoffs a year ago. way to look even less credible than you already do.
FAIL.

What about the rumors that Lebron was the one that saw the guy taping him getting dunked on, and he went over to the Nike officails to have them retrieve the tape. Looks like that was a lie.

yeah, that dunk isn't even mentionable, whats even funnier, lebron's hand is like 6" above the dunkers hand...he just half-assed it and had a bad angle, if lebron had the angle that guy would have been blocked shaq style

I don't get it - what the hell is the big deal if james got dunked on anyway?

He's been dunked on FAR worse than that...I can't believe they made such a fuss about it. I remember watchin Jim Rome and him saying that the dunk was supposed to be the most ridiculous dunk ever...yet, he never saw it. Gotta love the media! The innate ability to make a mountain out of a molehill!

Thats what nobody else can seem to figure out. Nike for some reason thought it was a big deal.

I don't really see what the big deal is...
Lebron = NBA MVP, meanwhile this guy isn't even in the NBA, soooooo.

This whole thing makes LeBron and Nike look like babies (I wanted to use a diiferent word there.)
They should have never tried to cover this up, especially nowadays when everyone has camera phones. And the fact that the dunk wasn't even that bad makes it seem worse.
Bad decision all around by Nike and The King.

I have to admit I was expecting more, since they made a big deal about covering up.

Is it really about them acting like "babies" or did Nike act this way because those camps aren't supposed to be video taped?

What this shows is that Nike's story about taking the tapes because of "event policy" rules is 100% true. That dunk is hardly worth errr not worth all the hype it got. Theres no way anyone at Nike or in LeBron's inner circle that thought that tape was so damaging that it couldn't get out. None of the crowd even got up after the dunk. I was half expecting a court storming and Jordan Crawford punting the ball into the rafters at the JAR. PS: if im Jordan Crawford im upset these tapes got out. My legendary posterization of the NBA MVP has failed

lebron destroyed tim duncan early in the 2007 season. later on in the nba finals, tim duncan destroyed lebron and the cavs.
lebron annihiliated kg with that dunk last year, kg goes and gets his ring.
it's not a big deal.

Why is this even news? There is always going to be a time when even the best get beat. Superman didn't even win every fight. And though some of you may have forgotten, Bernie actually did get intercepted occasionally.

It's news because of all of the mystery that surrounded it. If this had come out the day it happened, it would have made for an interesting tidbit for 24 hours, then gone away. Because it really is a non-event.

Given Bernie's throwing motion, it might have been tipped by the linebackers knee.

jim brown never fumbled, it's just that once or twice, the ball got scared and escaped his grasp.
just like otto graham never played a season where he didn't win a championship.

That's it!?!? Lebron looks like he came in late for one, and two he wasn't really even in position to contest the dunk.
Media hype strikes again, I'd like those 30 seconds of my life back please.
