Sorry, have to play your game every two days at least or every day. For me playing everyday is no problem.

Well I'm 0-3 now. was winning 21-3 and lost 21-22. James davis fumbles they pick it up an run for a TD. Then quinn throws pick for TD. I will get one tonight. I like the 1-5-5. Found another play there I like can't remember the name something about a sink.

Ahhh, I dont think I could do a play every day or every 2 days. Between work, entertaining the ball n chain and madden coming out, I could probably only comit to an advance once a week schedule. Im sure there will be times I play more, but was just looking for a leisurely dynasty to play on the side.

I am 4-1...

And yes the blitz is a little more effective this year... I do a lot more blitzing than I did last year...

and to comment as someone else did.. that 1-5-5 formation actually is pretty sweet. The offense doesn't know who is coming... and BAMMM!!! I don't run it though against teams who have super fast WR's..

It DOES leave the flats open, however...

But a lot of times a linebacker runs in uncovered and it works really well against dunces who like to run around until a guy breaks open downfield (my least favorite kind of player, I try to play the game the way it was meant to be played when I play).

AmmoBrowns80.

I don't cheese and I don't run around like an idiot waiting for someone to break open downfield. I hate those kinds of players. Promise!

Even if you whoop up on me if we play, I appreciate that! I can't stand the morons running a Hail Mary every play and doing excessive scrambling with zero football IQ whatsoever... I play the same way. It's realistic and respectable.

I haven't set up my PS3 ID yet, but when I do I'll post it on here.

Well what do you know? Turns out the user ID josh07dawson was available!

I sent out a couple friend requests. Anyone else wants to play sometime go ahead and request me.

I must say though I'm not having too much fun so far with the online play. I mean first off I'm adjusting to PS3 (just got it a week ago) after being used to the XBOX controls for the past 4 years so that's awkward. But I have never been more frustrated than I did in my last game. I got blanked 38-0... I couldn't stop the pass no matter what. None of MY blitzes could generate pressure but he did the same one every time (even if I kepts backs in to max-protect) where the nickel and dime backs would charge in and the corners and safeties would drop back into zones, all while Demarcus Ware manned the middle of the field.

It was video game GARBAGE. If my outside WR ran a streak or faded, the corner was still MAGICALLY able to cover him all while pouncing on my back if he leaked out into the flat to catch the ball when theoretically the flats would be open EASILY.

Headache... by the looks of things what could I have done differently? I'm thinking obviously something seeings how I got blanked 38-0 (but 24 of those points were in the 4th quarter with my getting ready to throw the controller at the TV after not scoring ONCE)...

Nahh, not too big on the college video game scene. I love the pro sports games though! Madden10 and NBA 2k10 are my mainstays that won't go anywhere. I could play either to six in the morning...

Is there a racing game that's worth looking into out there? That's the only other thing I can think of as far as games to be honest that I'd want unless they still had like Twisted Metal hah that was a blast to play back in the day...

This game was overhyped as usual, the presentations are graphics are amazing The game looks and feels really good. Then you actually start playing.

Its ridiculously easy to throw to the slot recievers, running backs, and tight ends. You can literally do that every play. And at the sameštime, outside corners are all Champ Baileys and Deon Sanders. A corner with 82 speed, can easily run down the field with Randy Moss.

Its so funny to see you have a corner burned, lead him as much as you can on the game ( which is about 3 feet) throw it, and watch an average CB make up 15 yards, jump 6 feet high while running full tilt, and swat a ball moving 30mph.

Safeties can go from one side of the field to the other, instantly. Every defensive player can change direction, instantly.

When your playing vs. the CPU like in a franchise, the game is unplayable. The CPU QB's, from Tavaras Jackson to Tom Brady complete 85% of their throws. If you blitz the CPU, they always pick it up, every QB, every time. If you dont blitz, the QB will literally have as much time as you want. Just finished a dynasty with the giants, 13 sacks through a whole season, the Gaints.

The other thing I dont understand is why defensive players are about 35% faster than offensive players. A rb with speed of 90 will get ran by a lb with an 82 speed. Same thing with corners an 85 spd corner can run with a 95 speed wr, with ease.

The WR AI/CB AI is seriously bad. It's way too easy to throw between the hashes, and absolutely impossible to throw outside the hashes. Some people don't mind it, I just can't stand the game. Its not realistic, and to win online matches, you must play unrealistic. Vs. the CPU its even worse, to the point of being unplayable.

Just another EA games where its all shiny on the outside, all the money is in the paint job, and nothing under the hood. Outside of pro-tak, this is same game as the first next-gen madden.

I give it a 4 out of 10.

Only thing I don't like about the game..

Is the freaking main screen... I don't wanna see Polamalu or Fitzgerald!! I wanna see my Browns!!

I can't stand that.. and its starting to bother me.. Especially the shot with Troy holding up the Lombardi.. or something like that... Whatever he is doing.. He is showing that he just won a super bowl..

That, my friend, is 100% SPOT ON.

Unfortunately I find there are no alternatives to the pro-football video game...

busted out my 2600 and have been playing football on it. Gotta love the 3 man team stuck together. I'm also an expert at passing from one side of the screen to the other.

This is one of the cons that exists in the game. Even though I picked my favorite team being the Browns I still have to look at Polamalu ugly face.

Ps3, I just got finished with one of the best games I've played yet.

With the playmaker's sliders I got from operation sports, everything was realistic. The end result in a heavy snow game:

Browns 28 Steelers 7

Total Offense
==================
Browns 298 Steelers 294
Time of pos
Browns 23:05 Steelers 24:55

Quinn = 9-14 for 141 yrds, 2 TD's, 141.5 QB rating

Jamal Lewis = 17 carries for 110 yrds, 6.4AVG, 2 TD's
Jerome Harrison = 8 carries for 28 yrds, 3.5AVG
James Davis = 5 carries for 20 yards, 4AVG

Robert Royal = 3 rec for 29 yrds, 9.6AVG, 1 TD
Braylon Edwards = 2 rec for 100 yrds, 50AVG, 1TD
Brian Robiskie = 2rec for 14 yrds, 7AVG
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Roethlisberger = 19-35 for 239 yrds, 1TD, 2INT's, 61.5 QB rating

Willie parker = 15 carries for 67 yrds, 4.1AVG

Heath Miller = 5rec for 70 yrds, 14AVG, 1TD
Santonio Holmes = 4rec for 63 yrds, 15.7AVG
Limas Sweed = 4rec for 60 yrds, 15AVG

And for defensive, pretty good outcomes as well. For the Browns and the steelers there was at least two people over the 5 tackle mark. Each team had two sacks on one another, and brandon McDonald has Ben's 2 INT's.

Playing zone coverages on this year's Madden is the only thing you can do defensively. Man to Man coverages get me burned everytime.

Not if you get to the QB first.

The key is knowing when to use man coverage and when not to.

I hate how the blitzes leave the flats wide open in zone coverages.

If that was a reference to our Browns secondary, then yes.

I'm not much of a blitzer in Madden. I'll send the occasional DB or OLB but that's it. As I guess I should be more agressive?

It was a reference to how you can't play man-man in real life without getting toasted consistently.

Sums up our secondary quite fine then.

I wasn't a blitzer in '09 but I definitely cranked up the blitz this year because if you give the QB all day to throw receivers WILL get open this year.

I picked up Madden for the wii(first madden game i bought since madden 95 ) Anyway, fun game, the point and pass interface takes some getting used to with the wii remote. Enjoyed getting 1 kickoff and 2 punts returned for TD's with Cribbs.

It is by all means a different game(not just a port of the xbox version). But it's fun. A little less hardcore. People will bash it because it's not the xbox version, but it's not supposed to be. The only people I've seen disappointed with it are the people that bought it, expecting it to be the same as the xbox.
