I have read some of the camp reports...but for those who have been keeping a close eye....which 1 guy from Offense, and 1 from Defense...are going to take a big leap forward...and take people by surprise this year.
For me...for the Steelers its Mike Wallace WR - Limas Sweed will be #3...but Wallace is the fastest WR the Steelers have ever had...and he is going to fly past many a DB deep.
Defense - Lawrence Timmons is having his coming out party....he is lightning quick...at 245lbs.
This is the fastest Steeler team I have ever seen.
Who have been the Browns stand outs?

On offense I don't know how you can go with anyone other than James Davis. He has looked great.
On defense I love David Veikune. I'm expecting big things from him.

The only people I can think of are:
Offense - James Davis has had a great camp from what i've heard Defense - Eric Barton (but I don't know if this would be considered his "coming out year" since he's a vet)

On offense it is by far james davis. On defense it is Alex Hall/DQ for those who dont know. I predict pro bowl type yr for D'Qwell Jackson. BTW thanks for the heads up on the steelers wideout.

Offense is no doubt James Davis. Braylon is looking great, but I think he already had his coming out party....
Defense will be D'Qwell Jackson. The guy lead the league in tackles last season, but hasn't gained any attention around the league. Having Barton teamed up with him and a coaching staff who will make the guys around him better, I think DQ can not only make an impact, but have a shot at a Pro Bowl type of year.

I don't expect him to have a lot of carries early in the year. However if Jamal were to go down I think he would start ahead of Jerome Harrison. From what I've heard James Davis does all the small things right such as catching, pass blocking and even though he doesn't have elite speed he hits the hole very hard.

Our running game period will be our bread and butter... And Mangini MUST RUN HARD on Vikings Game 1 to show the teams that we can win games by getting dirty w/ the run... It will set the tone just like it did in 07 when Lewis hit the Bengals up for 200... VERY IMPORTANT this happens... (So Lewis, Harrison, Davis)
Defense: This is going to be a great year for two people...
D'Qwell Jackson.. DQ!! & Kamerion Wimbley... Killer Kam!!!

That vikings D is the wrong place to start a commited running game. It won't work and could really hurt the OL confidence. Let's be a running team starting week #2 against the Broncos.

O -- whichever QB loses the camp competition (thus hitting the field mid-season when the starter goes down).

Haven't been to camp and haven't seen any film like everyone else.. But from all that I've read, this is what I think:
Offense,, Davis seems to be lighting up the place.. so Davis
Defense: Hearing nothing but positives about DQ and how he's coming along.. so,, DQ.

Might need to be a group award, Hack. Hope they are great games. Hope you will get a respectable challenge out of the new system sets (hence the "group" award for newer scheme. Good luck.
