Two in particular....

As far as I'm concerned Magic has all the right in the world to use his family to hawk this dismal business, but I hate the use of a work ethic to imply that someone is deserving to have the services of a rental center. I would imagine that there might be short term uses for this, but what an extraordinary rip off.

This one is obvious.

Probably....

A) it sells

B) it sells from the very cheesyness and name recognition

So maybe the marketing is on target? Both just grate me.

The Geico ones,...absurd.

I used to not like the string of Marine Corps recruiting commercials where they took the kid and mystically transposed him into some kind of magical superhero,...I did not appreciate those at all.

Conrad's Tire, seems they're the only sponsor The Tribe has. Annoying.

I used to like Geico commercials, but the new campaign with the pile of money wearing glasses just plain blows.

Viva, Viagra annoys me. You got all these guys in a cabin somewhere, singing and strumming guitars, all happy because they got wood. Where's the women?

On the radio - Andy Willoughby and The 3 Step Plan (for a home-based business). Andy Willoughby brings smarmy to a new level, somewhere north of Pat Robertson on the 700 Club. Every time I hear it I tell my wife about my 3 step plan to feed Andy Willoughby to the wolverines.
1. a pit
2. wolverines.
3. Andy Willoughby.

You got a point. I love how the ads warn "[results] lasting longer than 4 hours are dangerous - seek medical help if that happens." Meanwhile, guys are out there thinking "whoa, 4 hours ..." and women are out there thinking "ewww, 4 hours.".

The Coors ad does suck.

I haven't seen the "Head On" one in a while. Name recognition by repeating. Makes you want to smack em on the head.

Freecreditreport and some Geico's can be OK, but the money with eyes thing is silly.

Viagra..."more than 4 hours....seek medical attention". Naw, just give me a plaque or something.

In Florida:

1) Any Amscot commercial
2) Any WaMu commercial
3) Any Sonny's BBQ Commercial

On a side note: Remember Buddy's Carpet? Do they still have those commercials?

1) Any Fred Martin car commercial;
2) Just about any other car commercial (if you yell louder, maybe I'll think about coming to your dealership, but only to put my foot where the sun don't shine);
3) Any political commercial;

I will say that I absolutely LOVE any of the ads like Oxi-clean, or Popeil, or things trying to sell you that kind of stuff. The best part about those commercials is the "before" people. They make it look like your life was absolutely horrible before the product came along.

Like, how did I ever survive without a hose caddie? They show the guy, the hose is all kinked, he's got it wrapped around his neck, takes him 2 hours to reel it all in. Then, he got the hose caddie, he got a better job, he married a nymphomaniac billionaire supermodel and he was suddenly hung like a horse. I actually DVR those sometimes just so I can go back and laugh.

i love infomercials where they show the horrible D-level actor struggling without said item.

i love when it's in black and white too. this level of production is just a step above porno. and not even good porn.

p.s. i think buddy from buddy's carpet is dead.

I forgot about Buddy. I never really found him irritating and that is like nostalgia now. A younger woman started doing the commercials with him and someone told me that it was his wife. I think Buddy has since died.

ShamWow looks like a rip off, but I find their barker somewhat entertaining.

Hidy Honda's guy is completely irritating to my wife, but I like him.

I hate the one with the guy that has that kitchen chopper - you know the one where he says, "you'll love my nuts..."

The Geico commercials all pretty much annoy me from the so easy a caveman could do it to the money with eyeballs.Whoever writes their commercials is a moron.

I also hate the male enhancement ones.If you need a pill, you don't need the other IMO.

I go with the Juice. Wifeyperson loves the gecko and it is OK. Dead heat between the cavemen ones which we agree suck and also the Jared Subway thangs, My wife carries on with 'em and will thumbwrestle me for the remote's mute button if I am too slow. Womens!
