Just out of curiousity, which was worse - last x-mas eve's embarrasment, or yesterday's heartbreak?

Yesterday's heartbreak. Atleast last year on X-Mas eve, we lost to a decent team.

I see your point, but last year, the Browns rolled over and played dead the entire game. No enthusiasm, no fire, no passion, no points. Not true at all this year.

I can understand your heartbreak, but the Browns have made alot of great strides since last year. They just have to learn how seal the deal now.

Yeah, it was painful last year watching our team roll over in such a big rivalry, especially when we had a shot of knocking you guys out of the playoffs last year.. but like you said, this team has made huge strides over last year, which is why this one hurts so much.. because I expect better from this team. I didn't expect anything last year.

That's kinda why yesterday was harder to take. They just need to learn to seal the deal. Last year, beacause they showed no fire or passion we never got into the game at all. This year, we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and that is a very bitter pill to swallow.

But, it is what it is and we lost both of the games and the team that wanted it more won. Congrats.

I have to say the 41-0 hurt me more; at least I got to see Winslow punk Porter yesterday . Porter is one of those players that you love to hate unless he is on your team

Last year was far worse. The Browns played with no heart and no fire. Yesterday, they played with passion and pride. They also showed that they are on the right tract. The loss yesterday hurt, but the progression showed is not nearly as hurtful as a team that didn't show up last year. In all honesty, the score doesn't mean a whole lot yesterday. Bad teams don't go to great teams overnight. There has to be a learning period where you learn how to win. That's what they Browns are doing.....and learning is painful at times.

Last year by far.

Yesterday, the steelers left CBS, banged up and bloodied. They had to earn that win....and that's the way it should be between rivals. KWII's stiffarm on Porter, the trash talking...the tough D.....when you have to keep your eyes glued to the game so you don't miss anything.....I'll take that anyday over a thumping.

Its a tie. Last year it was a big disappointment seeing the team go out on the field and seeing them get shut out with no fight.

Yesterdays heartbreak was bad cause' the D and special teams for the most part played their guts out only to have the offense once again not get a TD or get the needed first downs to end the game.

Er....I would, but I didn't understand what the hell you just said.

Do I put you down for last year or this year?

A. Last year
B. This year

Pick A or B.

Wow. You have the Nightmare Before Christmas game, and the Basement Bowl.

For all bitter Clown fans who need a break, you are welcome to come on down to Clown Hunter's Clown Sanctuary. Plenty of beer and frisbee's. On Thanksgiving we are cooking up 5 Turducken's and showing Jim Brown Induction into the Hall of Fame tape on a continuos loop.

Damn. It's times like these that cause me to say Poor Clowns. Poor Clowns indeed!!!!

I have to hand it to you Elmer, the way you out run those labs, and catch that frisbee in your mouth is really amazing. Now if you could quit slobbering worse than a St. Bernard when you bring them back to us, we might keep throwing them to you more often.

Last year was worse. This year, I loved the fire we showed. I loved Winslow slapping Joey "BulletArse" Porter aside like he was a gnat. Our day is coming, and soon. Thank you for the kind words, loop.

I feel real good that I didn't make a sig bet like Jules.

Last year was much worse!

We are seeing tremedous improvement in the way in which Charlie Frye is leading this team and the improvement of our defense and special teams!

Crennel is teaching this entire team how to play every down without giving up...........this team is going to get much better in time!

A Steelers fan at work asked me the same question Monday....my response then was "What game last year?"

I'm confident that even if we don't win in Pitt for the Thursday nighter, all will be good because we are on our way there. We will sweep yinz next year.

Maybe its just the loser mentality in Clownstown. You will not hear us say that until we have NO chance at making the playoffs. This is exactly why I say Poor Clowns sometimes. The overall Clownish antics of the Clowns FO has left the real fans disgruntled and bitter.

Poor Clowns indeed! Thank goodness the Clown Hunters Clown Sanctuary is up and running. It provides hope to many Clown fans and support. If this service was in place earlier we may not have seen a fiasco like the Beer Bottle Mayhem.

The only chance your squad has at anything is ensuring that Big Ben breaks Bradshaw's record for number of INT's in a season.

Poor Shep. Basement again? We understand that misery loves company. It's not our fault that Clowns have been playing like. . . well Clowns for that past 3 seasons.

Whenever you feel you just can't take it anymore come on down to Clown Hunters Clown Sanctuary. I see the bitterness in the threads in the Football forum. The tension is building. Poor Clowns indeed!
