Hi, myself and three other people are going to the game in buffalo. We have tickets, but as none of us have been to buffalo we are looking for some help on a few things.I coulnt find any browns backer clubs in buffalo. We want to know what is a good area to stay and party. We want to know where the browns fans are meeting: a bar or an area in the tailgaitig lot.I am from out west so obviously the east is fairly unknown. If any one has any tips, advice or help it would be much appreciated. thanks
ps i have been doing research via the internet but first hand knowledge is the best

I would agree, completely.

The game is in Denver this week. Sorry can't help, never been to Buffalo.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

Go to that resaturant/bar where the very first buffalo wings were made. Saw it on the food or travel channel. Not sure what its called, but I'm sure you could find out pretty easily. That's where I'D go.

Can't help you with specifics, but...
My dad and I went to two Bills games when the Browns were gone and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked the stadium - though as I've gotten older I've heard people call it a dump - and the fans were awesome. It's weird that as you're coming up to the stadium the upper deck is at ground level.
I was only 16-17 years old at the time - pre college years - but I was AMAZED at the tailgating in this one area and the ROWS of empty Crown Royal bottles on the guard rails. Them Buffalo people sure can throw down, lol.
And be prepared to stop about 42 times to pay a 50 cent toll - seems like there was a toll every 1/2 mile.
Enjoy the game.

That is the Anchor Bar....where the original wings started...(supposedly)
My wife is from Buffalo and she says they are ok but she prefers Duff's which is over near the University of Buffalo...Actually there is a debate in Buffalo as to who came up with the wings first Anchor or Duff's...But my wife says Duff's is MUCH better.
As far as tailgating...last year for Monday night, I tailgated just outside Ralph Wilson in their Stadium Parking...It is less organized than Cleveland Muni (as far as parking situations)and they are allowed Open flames so it sometimes looks like going into "Escape from New York" But the Buffalo Fans are cool and are good tailgaters....
I thought I was wrong once....but I was mistaken...
What's the use of wearing your lucky rocketship underpants if nobody wants to see them????

It's called the Anchor Bar and Grille.. Very good food.. excellent in fact. But I wouldn't count on it being a friendly place for Browns fans....
Pretty much Bills all the way if I remember correctly.

I was there the year we mustered like 17 net yards or something in '04. Aside from that, great time. Get wings at the Anchor Bar, which is a little haul from the stadium out in Lackawanna/Orchard Park.
There is a bar near the stadium called the Big Tree. Great little place for food and brews. The night before the game, I was there and sure enough Andre Reed and Jim Kelly were bellied up next to the bar, like a bunch of regulars.
Tailgating is all around the stadium. I wore brown and orange and had no problem aside from the low key booing. Bums come round the lots and pick up all the cans for recycling. About all their good for.
