I trade C.Palmer for Chad Pennington and Leon Washington. In my league you only start 1 QB,my starter is Brees and my 2 RBs are Marion Barber and Ray Rice. So whatcha think?

Leon has serious potential (especially if you get return TDs)...

but Cinci could continue to struggle with their OL...so, it's worth the risk since you have Brees as your #1 who you won't bench anyway.

I wouldn't do it, especially after today.

If you really want to trade him go after a running back with a starting job (I like Washington alot, but lets face it he's stuck behind Jones) and don't worry about Pennington. You're never going to bench Brees anyway, just pick up a suitable backup from the free agent list.

The concept of the trade is pretty good - but you've got to get more than that back.

There's got to be free agent QB at least as good as Pennington as a backup/bye week QB - and as was earlier said, you should try for a starter RB.

I'd try a one for one - Palmer for a solid starting RB. Then drop someone for a QB when you need to.

Absolutely do that. I don't understand the discussion here. You are only going to play Palmer 1 week, as you will never sit Brees.

And Leon Washington is definitely an upgrade over Ray Rice.
