I didn't see anything implicating the President in implementing this. So, while he will likely get slammed for it, doesn't seem he had anything to do with it.

That being said, what the hell are these teachers doing? I guess I don't have a problem with them touting Obama if they really believe in him just like I don't have a problem with teachers who criticize Obama if they don't believe in him. But Lord, there are better ways to go about it!!

The teachers are what I was amazed at . Leave your political leanings at home . I would be pissed if I were a parent of one of those kids and party affiliation has nothing to do with it IMO as it is just wrong.

I agree 100%. I don't like schools being nothing more than indoctrination palaces, no matter who the teachers are touting. IMO, schools are a great place for debate. Do you like the President? Why or why not? Give reasons. No answer is wrong, so long as you have some backing. To me, that would be such a great education. Design an argument and back it up.

But then we see crap like this. I am a big Obama supporter, but I would not be happy at all if I heard my kid was going through this.

I voted for Obama and this makes me queezy. I'm pretty certain the Obama had nothing to do with it but still. It's pretty icky.

There was and is nothing implicating Obama. He personally should not get slammed for it, and I sure won't do it.

The teacher, on the other hand..........I almost wish this had happened at my daughter's school because I would make a huge deal out of it.

I know how you feel,,, makes me uneasy as well..

I read the story, Obama isn't authorizing this or pushing for it at all or so it seems.. so I"m not uneasy with Obama, but the teachers pushing this... Sorry, but I don't like it.. not one bit.

I think the teacher needs punished. If they want to make it so God can't be touted at school, then there is definately no way no how this anti christ should be able to be touted.

Wow, that's bizarre. I'd be having a very short conversation with the principal if my kid went to that school.

Mine wouldn't be short. It would be long and heated, and they wouldn't be able to say much....I am pretty good at that when the circumstance calls for that.

If you can't promote prayer in schools, you sure as hell better not be able to promote politics.

J/C...

Looks like it's not the teacher, but the principal behind this

They are busy on Facebook ... or texting ... or tweeting.

Really, I don't see the big deal here. I'm sure these kind of school-room tributes to great leaders happen every day in Cuba, Venezuela, and China ... just as they did in Germany in the 1930's and in the Soviet Union for decades. Indoctrination is important if you want to grow a nation of sheep.

Because Obama totally made the principal and teacher do this. It's not like someone used poor judgment and did something completely idiotic. Nope, it's Obama's secret plan to get 6 year olds to vote for him in the 2020 election for his 4th term as Supreme Overlord of the World.

The agenda is much bigger than Obama. He is only a tool. The indoctrination of children for fascist political purposes was seen throughout the 20th century, and is still seen now in places like Cuba, China, and Venezuela - not to mention the radical Islamic countries. It happens when parents abdicate their role of instilling values, perhaps not quite understanding that there are other people of influence in their children's lives that are ready, willing, and able to fill that void. Nature abhors a vaccuum, but fascists thrive on one.

Have you ever wondered how an event like the Holocaust could happen? Sure, a few nutty anti-Semites gain control in Germany and presto! 6 million murdered Jews. Have you ever thought about the logistics of killing and disposing of 6 million people? How many willing participants there must have been? Did you ever think how severely warped that an individual would have to be to be able to take part in such an activity without recoiling from the sheer horror of it? The children who sat in Germany's schools in the 1930's were the ones who carried out the orders that allowed the Holocaust to occur.

So now you'll say its ridiculous to compare a few happy children, innocently singing, to the Hitler Youth Movement, and you'll be right. But I say that these things don't start from nowhere and from nothing. They start like this. They turn into things like a culture that is willing to jettison 6 million people, a culture that is willing to stand in long lines - for toilet paper, that shrugs and turns away when students are crushed by tanks, that allows dissidents to be sent to remote Gulags, that allows for the genocide of female infants because the government has mandated only 2 children per couple and an agricultural economy needs boys to work the rice fields. It doesn't start from nothing and from nowhere.

If that makes me an alarmist, no biggie, I'm just another jackass with an internet connection and a keyboard ... I can live with that. What I can't live with is a society that stands idly by while their entire culture and way of life is eroded slowly, but surely, and says "nothing to see here ... move along".

Children sing songs praising President Obama's "great accomplishments" in a video

Is the song like 4 seconds long?
