Who here can make me a signature? I want to post more but what I have now is so plane Jane and I want to be heard and distinct for what my sig is when I post. I was thinking Joe Thomas, Shaun Rogers, DQ and Josh Cribbs would be in it and somehow it would incorporate the word, "Keepers". I like that collection of guys and they seem really safe at least for a year.

Even though on a side related note, how dumb/ADD is Herm Edwards. Was he awake on NFL Llive when he said "Josh Cribbs is a sure thing at Wide Receiver and they just need to get the ball to him." Yeah he seriously said that after this Denver game.

Still like Cribbs as a returner and local favorite. He's exciting and has heart.

Anyone who could help me I would appreciate it. Also, if you think your sig is the coolest, post here just so we can see it!

It's your words and not your sig that makes you heard and distinct.

You could have the best sig in the world but if your words don't hold up it'll just be seen as a cool, distinct picture making it easier to identify you and scroll past your verbage.

Agreed. A lot of the signatures look the same, anyway. Browns players...wow, how distinct.

Yeah and even a small avatar (like yours, the little dartboard) is very recognizable for me, anyways. When I see it out of the corner of my eye, I know it's your post (and keep scrolling haha just kiddin', I honestly read almost every post made by a chick on here).

There's some nice sig pics here with Browns players, but if you showed me one I probably couldn't say who it belongs to.

You're pretty easy to recognize without looking at your name, too.

Players come and go. On this team many should just go. Come up with something that'll stand the test of time.

I had players in my sig at one time but the foundation has been the same since way back on the old boards. I then axed the players for my undergrad logo on each side of the Browns helmet. Now I replaced one of my undergrad logos a couple of years ago with my grad school's logo

Thought about it, gang. I'm going to go with words that are the truth coming from my core. Check below the new signature. Not that what you all think matters too much to me, but did I go with a winner here?

If you demand people to listen to you then they probably won't.

..Good grief, man.. It's just a signature... I doubt people are gonna stop reading/listening what he says strictly due to his sig..

Like anything else we read or listen to in life, if it has substance, it will be appreciated..

I don't read what quite a few people have to say because of their signature. The person with that hypno frog for example...

NRTU.... Listen, please.

Hey, I want to stand out a little bit more sometimes because I feel like because since I'm not one of the board veterans here (though I have been coming and posting here since 2005 and was once a Dawg Talker and had my JACKET!

Face it, sometimes the usual names on here get a little clicky and only keep the discussions to themselves and don't allow for younger, growing football IQ and interested younger posters to actively partake in discussion. I can spend 10 minutes on a post backed up by research and have it ignored so a couple people who have been going to the site longer than I have or are just good friends with others want to beat dead horses (like the QB debates, how we can turn this around THIS year, garbage garbage garbage)....

I'm just saying I want to partake more in the discussions and if that means resorting to a flashy signature and getting more intelligent feedback or just any attention at all to talk some football, then I'll do it. But just sitting here and watching the "good ol' boys" go back and forth and waste my time spent researching and trying to spark more discussions and explore other possibilities. It is just a mild nuissance.

sorry but i really think you're misguided on this one.

i was on the original board, stayed with the site, and moved here last season once i heard it existed. i doubt people recognized me when i came back but everyone has been respectful. you post football, and you'll get responses. a signature will do nothing for you.

people ignore posts not because of you but because it's a topic they don't want to address, especially if you're on the opposite side. that's common and a sig does nothing for it.

it's like saying people will take you more seriously and think you were smarter if you got a tattoo...there is no relation. if people are taking the time to read your thread and reply to you and explain to you a sig does nothing for you, it tells you 1) the sig does nothing for you and 2) people are reading and replying to your posts.

I can't deny what you are saying. I went years without getting anyone to really respond to my posts, and I'd have to say I'm the very definition of young and learning. But I kept posting, kept reading, kept annoying older and wiser posters via PM, and got some sweet signatures. Now posters respond to me with laughter and lectures.

All that matters is what you say. If you keep making good, logical, and football smart posts, people will notice you and respond to you. The signature has nothing to do with it.

Ok, you've convinced me. PM me and I will make you a sig to your liking.
