That would be awesome. "Look, I can't bring myself to start Brady or DA......I'm going Ratliff." I'm voting Cribbs!

I've decided that the only person who could potentially weather the storm of pressure likely to be brought by Cincinnati is Shaun Rogers. Hence, he will start at QB.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

Any Browns fan with an ounce of pride should want DA.
Otherwise you are playing for draft picks and minds well forfeit the season.

Wow, no secrecy BS this time? Guy's not even consistent...2 months or so ago he said, I quote, "I will stay with my QB once the decision is made"...so much for that..and now? He's giving away who he's going to start....but, but....what about the competitive advantage? Guy is LOST....he doesn't even believe the crap he tried to teach 3 weeks ago, lol

I'd support this 1000%. He can't do worse than the other two. And I'm at the point where I say we just sit Quinn - don't allow him to get to the escalations in his contract and use the money to try to sign some of our important 2010 FAs to longer term contracts (if there are any).

Start DA and we pretty much are forfeiting the season anyways as well.. DA is not going to save this team... Anyone with a sense of common sense will see that... He had one half of a good season in 2007, and then teams learned how to defend him and DA has yet to learn to adjust.. Teams will respect the deep ball with DA.. unfortunately that's all the respect in term of DA..

Hate to burst your bubble. We are playing for draft position anyway. We are gonna be drafting in the top 5. You do realize that, right?

I have been a fan for 27 years and i will tell you right now
if this team is drafting top 5 The Browns won't get 1 dime from me, not 1 red cent.
I personally think we should ship this current team and owner to LA, they want a team, and make the NFL gives us another Browns team without Lerner to mess it up....

QB decision is meaningless....one QB just takes check down, the other throws into triple coverage 25 yards downfield.
Result is the same, a loss...at this point I really dont care who the QB is...its just a waiting period until the next "guys" come in and then hopefully they have brains.

This is crap... this is just more undermining of the mental state of both guys.... maybe one is practicing as the starter, maybe they are back to splitting reps.. either way, whichever one trots out onto the field on Sunday is going to know that the staff has no confidence in them and that they are only a few mistakes away from being replaced. Nobody could play well in that circumstance.. NOBODY.

No, DA, the great probowl QB for Oregon State, is gonna show how amazingly talented he is, just watch. He doesnt need coaching, support, or "confidence in him", hes borderline a god.
Watch out Cinci, we now have DA at the controls....better start shaking, just like 2007, minus all the good players around him.

Unless something very drastic happens, we will draft top 5. There might only be 1 other team that is as bad as the Browns. The Rams.

there is but i doubt we'd want to throw him into these fires. it's just such a stacked deck. even stafford has calvin johnson and kevin smith.

that's true but who do we have running the ball?
that said, i'm hopeful momass will get the start again and bring some balance in coverage. i still think, if we had a sanchez on our team, he'd get eaten alive.

Mangini is going to make his decision on Wednesday about who the starting quarterback is alright. This is totoally to our advantage! He's going to keep it a secret from the media

You seriously think DA will win 9 games with the team we have and they way they have been playing? This is what I'm talking about.. You are thinking throwing DA in will save this season... DA in his 1 half has been worse than what Quinn has... Yes DA has been taking shots downfield, unfortunately these passes downfield also have a tendency to not land in the hands of the Browns' wrs.. I mean yes.. watching DA might be more exciting but in the end, it's still ending in the same result..
But if DA does win 9 games, it will be because he'll learn to adjust to the defenses that have adjusted to him and then I will applaud him for it, but right now... he has had yet another chance to take over as qb and he failed... and of course, da's supporters excuses are that he was down by a big margin and he was trying to make things happen.. by what?? throwing it to the opposing team?

Thats why I was for shipping out whoever didnt win the "competition". By now we should all realize, that no matter who we want it to be, he cant be the man with someone else sittin on the bench waiting for a bad game. It hasnt worked since 99, and it never will.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...
