Let me lose a question: Would you build an organization without a vision for what that organization stands for?
No business, especially one the size of an NFL team, is lacking a mission statement, a vision or organizational policy. The problem lies in the inability to implement it into a success.

See that's where I disagree. Where have we seen proof of that with the Browns? A consistent Vision statement. We have not seen any consistency in philosophy other than Crennel and Mangini both run the 3-4; and that was this last hiring. Outside of that, there have been major differences every step of the way.
NRTU: Butch was highly regarded as was Crennel. It is unfair to say now that they weren't good candidates. I believe that each failed because top-down, we as an org failed. IMHO, had we forced Butch to accept an NFL guy for the GM, things probably would have turned out better. With Crennel, he needed a strong veteran prescense in the locker room. He is not suited to handle young players.

I have no idea what a "vision statement" is in terms of being the same thing as a mission statement.
The Browns have one. They just don't know how to get there.
***Gordon, I really didn't think you could be this stOOpid, but you exceeded my expectations. Wussy. Manziel, see Josh Gordon. Dumbass.***

What we need is ether A: a trusted brain in the FO with football knowledge that can be Randy's right hand man or B: A new owner.
A. Ernie Accorsi? I like the fact that Randy has DEEEEEP pockets. As long as Randy is the owner this team will stay in Cleveland.
