I think this game shows us exactly why DA isn't the answer. He is simply too inaccurate, too happy footed, and too prone to interceptions (like the one in the end zone where he stared at the TE the whole play). I am not a Quinn backer by any means, as I don't think he is the answer either, but it is quite apparent after last year that DA simply is not going to ever get us to the playoffs. Winnable game and DA/Mangini blow it.

We lost this game because the Bengals are a more talented team. That's all there is to it.

Didn't you say at the beginning of the year that we had talent?

Game was hard fought.
Anderson had one big mistake in the game but so did everybody else. If you want to point fingers - look at Braylon Edwards. What did he do to help the team in this game? He had a personal foul penalty against him that nulified a personal foul on the Bengals. If Edwards had kept his cool it would have allowed the Browns to have excellent field position for a possible touchdown.
But instead we get stuck with a field goal. That touchdown would have definately come in handy for winning this game.

This game was close for three reasons 1) Josh Cribbs 2) Bengals bad kicking game 3) Better Defense
Anderson did what he will always do, move the ball some, but choke when you need it. Look, Quinn isn't the answer either and I really don't care a whole lot if DA starts the rest of the year, but he isn't an NFL QB and will never get this team to the playoffs. We are going to need to use our top 5 pick to take a real QB.

Dear Mrs. Quinn,
I didn't know your son couldn't speak for himself.
Thanks.

Well your half right...lol. DA will/should be starting the rest of this year. He will have weeks where he looks great (like this week for the most part), and then he will have weeks where Loyal and Ty have defend him from the masses because he'll be horrible. At this point he is what he is, and that's inconsistent, and not someone you can depend on week in and week out. The problem is Quinn was awful, and wasn't the answer in any shape nor form. Therefore, we will once again have a new QB in 2010, and hopefully QB # 7 in 10 years is the answer.

Wow. I don't think I've ever said this to anyone on this board (or at least actually mean it), but go away. Your take is entirely idiotic.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

If you Blame D.A for this game you are NOT a browns fan.
If you are so sure DA blew this game then why are you not pointing fingers at Harrions FUMBLE FOR 7 POINTS YOU IDIOT!
DA made great throws and his WR'S DROPPED at least 4 balls today! SOME FOR FIRST DOWNS and some for 3rd down conversions!!!!!
Carson up the middle in OT for the first down is not talked about??? Oh why?? Maybe because you are a Brady Quinn lover???
Has is not clicked in your freakin head that DA has played with 4 different OC's in the last 4 to 5 years??? Has it not clicked in your head that this WHOLE DAMN TEAM played better with DA????????????
GO AWAY, DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT, GO PLAY IN TRAFFIC.
No one will ever take you serious ever again for your stupid comment.
I am very proud of DA and THE WHOLE ENTIRE BROWNS TEAM minus Braylon & Furrey & Royal.

Idiotic? Are you telling me that a real NFL QB would not have won this game with both the field position and number of possessions we had?
And I am not a Quinn supporter, I didn't like drafting him (especially trading to do so) and hate Notre Dame.
It's really amazing how the Browns lose a very winnable game and the DA supporters are acting like he is a god for almost getting a tie.

You are flat out wrong. DA is definitely a NFL QB. It's just a matter of if he is a Back up or starter.
If he plays the rest of the season like he did today, I'd be inclined to say he is a starter.
you had a good run Hank.

this is just like the edwards thread....these guys busted their butts today, and fought for everything......I for one am not mad that they lost I am glad they actually showed up to play today....DA to me proves that he is the QB going forward....I had hopes for Quinn but am ready to eat crow and admit that I was wrong. DA gives us best chance to win.

And are you telling me that a REAL NFL QB can make the WR's Catch the ball as well?? Last time I checked Carson did worse then Anderson and had Shayne Kick the winning Field Goal. You are blaming this game on Derek when in fact so many people made SOOOOOO many mistakes. Yes DA made a bad Int, Yes he made bad throws but DA KEPT US IN THE DAMN GAME DUDE!
How come MOMASS had all those grabs and Braylon didnt? Seriously tho? What about furrey and royal dropping everything?
Never Did I say DA is GOD but comparing our last 3 performances to today, Derek is Jesus for helping this team!!!! I can not believe you sit here and say all this. Are you not proud of our team? Do you not think we can grow together? this is Dereks 3rd freaking time battling for a QB job, Only has 1 year under his belt and you want a REAL QB?? Give me a break....A REAL NFL QB Gets Time to learn, Time to grow, and a DAMN SHOT AT WINNING!!!

Well I will look at THIS roster really hard... Could you point out the real NFL QB that could have won the game for us. I am not finding his name on our roster. Maybe I just missed it.

Quinn would have won this game! If it weren't for the OL sucking, Daboll calling a horrible game and receivers not getting open downfield! did I miss any? Oh yeah receivers dropping balls.

Why don't we let the stats do the talking (or do DA supporters not believe in stats):
Passer rating - 68.8
That 68.8 puts DA right below Kerry Collins (who is 29th) and just ahead of Quinn (who was an abysmal 30th). So DA's good game that everyone here seems to love has him as the 30th ranked QB in the league. Wow, if that's what we are willing to settle for in Cleveland now, might as well move the team again.

You are right, he sucks! Happy! What are you looking for with your post? Seriously? Can we tell you what you want to hear so you go away? DA sucks! DA sucks! This game was all DA's fault and a real QB on our roster would have won this game outright!
What DA did today was improved the play calling, the running game, the OL, and the Defense in one swoop! He answered more questions about our team today, that we wouldn't have known otherwise!

Do these stats say how many balls were dropped? Do these stats say what teh score of the game was? Last time I checked Jason Campbell has his team at .500 and he's one hell of a QB right??

um... did you watch the game?
Blame Anderson? Not is the slightest. Blame Mangini? Maybe, I thought they played not to lose.
We lost to a better team today. If we play like that every game, but with a little killer instinct, we win more then we lose.

Jason Campbell is 9th in the league with a 92.5 rating this year. I guess i am just not satisfied to have the 30th best QB in the league as our starter.
