Along with cleveland.com?? Heaven forbid we actually try to post links about breaking news about our players.

because, for the time being, if the url has "blog" in it, regardless of the source, it's disallowed. prp said he's gonna work on it.

This is ridiculous...absolutely ridiculous.

Even when I don't include the link I get that stupid disallowed thing.

No, we're not slow, we're trying to pass along information from legitimate sources.

Posting players off the field problems has never been allowed in Pure Football. They belong in Tailgate.

I see and hear everything. Now where did I put my white cane, and my hearing aid?

Yeah I saw the thread in tailgate after I posted this (though I generally only visit tailgate about once a month). I thought it was still pertinent discussion within a thread specifically about said player and reasons why we might want to get rid of him *shrugs*.

The disallowed web link thing is currently annoying as all get out...but as long as Prp is aware and working on it, that's fine by me.

Sorry for the confusion.

Good, it is supposed to be.

No, it isn't ridiculous.
With the exception of something like the Cleveland.com blog page, you are not getting that if you are citing legitimate sources. Note for you Ammo, Twitter is not a legitimate source. And note for dong and others: changing the link to "blag" is not acceptable.

what about posting the blog, then citing a link to Maxims Hot 100?

while i understand this stance, given the moving rules, i would think there is some context to be considered. i only post from credible sites but many of these sites have "blogs" the journalists use, such as cantonrep, akron-beacon, and theobr. just because these sites have "blog" in the url should not mean it is not postable (especially since i was posting quotes from the mangini press conference anyways), unless you suggest i simply say "canton rep" in the future. it's not like i posted from blogspot or even nologoneeded, a site that is referenced often by cleveland.com.
