Curious what is the favorite candy that folks enjoy? So with Halloween on the horizon I'll tie it in.
At the office I keep a candy jar. For the most part I am able to avoid the stuff, it seems the folks there can't get enough of it - especially when it comes to Snickers.
Are Mallo Cups still available there? We don't have them out here.

If you look at traditional Halloween candy, I like candy corn.
But my favorite thing would have to be Reese Cups.

I don't have a favorite, but I absolutely hate those maple or peanut butter things in the orange and black twist wraps. I don't think anybody ever ate those, and they still make them. They're what was left at the bottom of everyone's bag after all the real candy was gone. I think they're recycled.

Frozen Milky Way, Snickers, Baby Ruth or 100 Grand mini bars!!!
I crave chocolate in the morning and could hurt myself if these would be in my freezer!

I know its not a recipe thread, but all this talk about Reese's got me hungry and I found this online ...
Peanut Butter Blondies
1 cup AP flour ¼ cup cake flour ¾ tsp baking powder 1/8 tsp salt 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (not organic or natural) 1 stick butter, melted 1 cup brown sugar 1 large egg 1 egg yolk 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups chopped Reese’s cups (or Reese’s miniature baking pieces) ½ cup milk chocolate chips
Method: 1. Grease an 8x8 baking pan. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Sift flours, powder, and salt together. Set aside. 3. Melt butter in medium saucepan. When melted, whisk in peanut butter until mixture is smooth. Next, whisk in the sugar, egg, yolk, and vanilla. 4. Stir in flour mixture. Then, stir in Reese’s cups and chocolate chips. 5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.

If I had to say a candy, it would be snickers. I love Hershey's Golden Almond bars also. Last time I had one was probably 12-15 years ago. Snickers? 2 or 3 of the small ones per year. The bite size? I like them when I'm out 4 wheeling - with pretzels - OR after swimming for an afternoon. I only eat about 30 of those or so a year. Thank God I don't do candy. It's really no temptation to me what so ever. Can't imagine what I'd look like if I chose to eat it daily, or even weekly. Now, if cheeseburgers were a halloween candy, color me happy. My ass would buy a costume and I'd be out all night.

I'm not a big chocolate fan. I'll go with Staburst or Skittles...

Yeah, it is easy for me to resist chocolate candy, much harder in form of ice cream or milkshake. One lady that I work with (who's husband is from Fremont) a few months ago brought in some candy Buckeyes she made. I hadn't had those in 25+ years and surely it would have been impolite of me not to sample some. But salty snacks are more my vice.
Based on feed-back here, this week I'll take in some Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.

Tie: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Now & Later.
These made little Beerdowner very happy back in the day. As did the mini Baby Ruths.

JC.. The question is.... How do YOU pronounce Reese's? 1) re-sees 2) re-sez

Lees, try the Reese's Big Cup.....it's got the same as the special events Reese's.....and they are availabe in a package just like regular Reese's!!!! Nothing better than a ginormous Reese's Cup or special shaped Reese's!
