So if he slips because he has chronic ankle issues, why would you want him? Ankles are pretty important to a WR. I agree he was/is a awesome college WR, but I have some serious concerns about his ability to stay on the field. I have read some reports saying that his ankle will always be an issue and could threaten his career. If we were to draft him, we better be sure that it wont be an issue.

it's all about determining at which point the reward is greater than the risk.

Decker has a decent chance at becoming a very special WR....if he's there in the 3rd round, he'd be a no-brainer pick IMO. If he's there in the 2nd, he'd be very seriously considered depending on who else is there. If we have 2 2nd round picks (one from BE), I would really hope he somehow dropped to our 2nd one.

If you can get a 1st round talent after the 1st round, it's because there are other issues. It doesn't mean you should automatically ignore a player.

Anthony Davis 1
George Selvie 0

that's twice in big nat'l televised games (first being Cincy) that I barely noticed Selvie was on USF and wouldn't have if I wasn't looking.

I posted this in the week 11 thread before I saw this. The Rutgers Jr. Davis owned Selvie and played him one on one. What concerned me was that Selvie needed to come out of the game late in the 2nd quarter for fatigue. The DE on the other side Junior college transfer Pierre-???? or ???-Pierre outplayed Slevie and if he comes out this year, I would take him over Selvie. Selvie did show some decent speed but like Wimbley he can easily get over powered by a good LT. Selvie dropped back a couple times and did a decent job against Rutgers TE who was a Freshman and a high school QB.

I didnt think Selvie did bad against Cincy. USF Safety Allen isnt bad. Draft is loaded with good safeties and thats good because the Browns need a couple. Pool is a UFA and I dont think he will get re-signed because of his concussion history. Ive been looking for Sorenson to get replaced after I saw him on the field playing defense. Id rather a prospect play specail teams and the chance of starting in the future. The Browns have enough players to just play punt and kickof coverage- Maivia, Constanza, Turilinik (sp?), Stamer and those guys dont have a good chance of being every day starters down the road.

After watching a lot of ball this weekend, I am taking notice of Gerhart the RB from Standford. I thought he looked impressive. The other kid I like and have been keeping tabs on is Tate from ND, the WR. I like him and think he has pretty good hands.
