Maybe the guy wants to get a bigger house while prices are down and has a good deal going.

Maybe he got engaged and the future Mrs. wants a different house.

Maybe its Jim Thome's old house and he found a 8 year old deer carcass hanging in the basement closet.

Who knows?

Doesn't mean anything until someone (Mangini or Brady) comes out and says it does mean something.

earned it? neah.. the other guy just failed to hold on to it..

And that is the single biggest reason in favor of trading Brady Quinn...

You certainly don't trade him because his value is high, his trade value is at an all time low.

The only reason to trade him is to avoid further controversy. Look, hypothetically, if DA gets hurt and we go back to Quinn.. what happens if he comes in with a "I've got nothing lose" attitude and starts throwing the ball all over the field? What if, without DA as an option, the defense and special teams actually show up for 60 minutes? In short, what if he looks a whole lot better than he did, possibly even winning some games? Then what do we have? We're right back where we started.

Well you know ... he probably can't afford his house now. He's not going to be hitting the escalators in his contract, and Subway and EAS probably dumped him after ... you know ... actually seeing him play.

But only if you sign the contract within 3 yards from the line of scrimmage.

Maybe he is buying Edwards' old crib. Maybe Braylon just dropped the price.

There was nothing to read. The sign was on the skinny post.

Just as was suspected, too big of a house for a single guy

Quote:

"No, that indicates a house is for sale," Quinn said. "I appreciate the free advertising. It doesn't have anything to do with what we're here for -- prepare for Pittsburgh.

"I'm a guy who doesn't want to continue to drive 30 minutes to the facility every day (from Avon Lake). I'm a bachelor who lives in a house that has maybe too much upkeep. There's other reasons (to sell it). I'm trying to downsize."

From here.

The savings from doing that was pretty modest. It only got him a nickle back when he was trying to downgrade to their economical dime package. Mangini said he should have at least made a quarter back.

Quinn will cite no connection between sale of home and possible trade

Browns quarterback Brady Quinn will meet with the media on Wednesday. He'll surely be asked about the fact that his house is for sale.

A league source tells us that Quinn will say that his plan to sell the home is unrelated to any desire to be traded.

That said, we're told that, in a "perfect world," Quinn would prefer a fresh start elsewhere.

The problem is that he lives not in a perfect world, but in Cleveland.

And Browns coach Eric Mangini says that Quinn will not be traded from Cleveland.

More accurately, Mangini says that the team is "not looking to move" Quinn. Which could mean that, if the right offer comes along from a team that is looking to land him, the Browns might listen.

Besides, when it comes to possible trades, teams lie all the time. Last year, for example, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones repeatedly said that there would be no trade for a veteran receiver.

And then the Cowboys traded for a veteran receiver.

Quinn's desire to get out makes sense, for various reasons. First, he's never gotten a fair shot in Cleveland. (That said, he bears part of the blame for holding out in 2007, at a time when he might have been in position to take over after Charlie Frye was traded following the regular-season opener.) Second, of the $10.9 million in total escalators tied to taking 70 percent of the snaps in 2009, he can still trigger a $5.9 million escalator for 2011 by taking 70 percent of the snaps in 2010.

In Cleveland, that possibility is looking less and less likely with each snap that Derek Anderson takes.

Exactly,...the Browns AREN'T " officially " looking to move him, but they're looking to see WHO wants him to move THERE,....we'll be lucky to get a 4 for him.

thousands of people have a nice, white stitched jersey that say "QUINN", they're actually kind of fly, but after 6 games you cant tell me the kid rocking the "KOSAR" jersey cant get 16 games?

too small a sample size on #10 to make a fair judgement.
