How can you say that? He also was a successful player with no coaching experience.

I know Bernie had the smarts of a great qb, but I'm absolutely sick of experimenting with unproven people in management and coaching positions.

Here's a thought..Pioli told Lerner he was going to have to rebuild this team..Lerner didn't want to hear that..
Now just what has Mangini done since he settled in?
Tore it down..same thing SP was going to do.
Mangini wouldn't have been my first choice..I'm giving the guy a chance but he wasn't my cup of tea...

Except Pioli hired that OC from Arizona to be his head coach. Hayley? He's not my cup of tea either...........

I was referring more to brain power.. I just can't fit Carthon and Kosar in the same catagory that way.

From both having a successful career, yeah, but Carthon had several jobs in coaching before he came here and my recollection was that he didn't exactly light it up in those jobs either..

Kosar at least comes with the right mentality. I can't say that about Carthon.

I wish Bernie could still play.
Man I miss the days when we had a rock-solid franchise QB.
My next jersey is #19.

I don't know...I think this is just the mentor we've needed for these QB's. Whether it helps, remains to be seen. But if DA/BQ take Kosar's mentoring to heart and if Daboll lets Kosar teach him some things about making the O work, this could be a brilliant move by RL. And Mangini doesn't have to take it personally if Kosar's there to help with the O. Mangini's not an O guy and bringing in someone like Kosar to help the O get better could only benefit Mangini and the team if it works. In the end, Mangini needs to WIN. And so far, the O has been the unit that has been regularly costing us games.

Yeah like maybe tell Lerner to "GTFOOC" (Get The F*** Out Of Cleveland) and sell the team to a owner that actually gives a damn

I wonder what Bernie is saying after todays game?

I wonder if it is agreeing with what Mangini is telling Lerner?

Probably drank away the sorrows of disgusting loss like the rest of us.

I think these discussions are better left for monday morning when the stinging and bitter taste of defeat...strike that...ass-kicking, isnt so fresh.
