I'm still interested if you want to pay my plane ticket . I can't afford to buy it now since I'll be going to Chicago and Atlanta in February

Geez, a lot of people giving up their tix this season.
This Sunday is my last game of the year that I have, but my wife would shoot me if I went on Christmas Eve. I'd like to go to another game, but can't do that one.

Geez, a lot of people giving up their tix this season. No. We have season tickets and only go to two or three games a year. We have always sold this many. And a Christmas Eve game would be impossible most years.

I don't think people are "giving up" their season tickets.
I can't speak for Michelle, but a lot of people buy these season tickets knowing full well they can't go to "all the games". I'll take Michelle for an example since I do know her,but not saying this is the case.
She lives in Xenia. So that would mean eight road trips to Cleveland. That cost alone is staggering. You're looking at a three and a half hour drive each way. Now to tailgate,it only makes sense to go up on Saturday and stay the night. So there's eight hotel bills and eats for the entire time.
So you see, often times they'll select certain games she can and wants to go to from the season and is nice enough to let die hard fans like us have first pick,at cost mind you, have the first dibs on the remaining tickets. Which I think is very swet of her.
I know more season ticket holders that do the very same thing. I seriously doubt Michelle will "give up her season tickets". But it's often times simply not possible or practical to attend every game when you live so far away.

To be fair, I can attest to the fact that she had these tickets for sale even before the season started. I know because I almost did buy them until I found out that I wouldn't have the funds for a Cleveland trip.

I've also got two in the Dawg Pound (sec.323) I'll sell - $40/piece (face value). I can meet anyone in the Muni lot at either the Bengals or Chiefs game, downtown during the week, or send via mail.

As you've been told (thanks, peeps...you're correct) I don't go to all the games. If I lived in Cleveland, not one game would be for sale. So....

And this isn't a large board yet.

I gave my tickets to a good buddy who has parents living in Cleveland.. he has a ride home for the holidays.
Living in Columbus, it's not practical for me to go to every game. It's at least a $100.00 day. I split my season tickets with my ex bro in law since he has the seat next to mine.. I go to at least 4 home games.. usually 1 or 2 more with club bus trips.. it makes the cost a lot more manageable.
The TB game would have meant driving up 2 1/2 hours each way.. coming back, picking up the kids at the ex's, going home, getting them to bed.. unpacking everything, putting on the Santa hat.. sneaking around with presents and getting them under the tree.. I'd be exhausted.

Right...and after thinking about it, I doubt we could have gone to the Christmas Eve game even if we lived in Cleveland. We have a family Christmas that day -- a tradition. The day before Christmas is just a bad day for a game for some. Normally, I miss many family dinners on Sundays durning football seasons, and they know that. But I'm not sure the Eve would be a good one to blow them off. At least next season it will be Sun, Dec. 23.

The NFL should have put the Dec. 24 games on Saturday, the 23rd. But if it costs them a few dollars, they aren't gonna do it. Christmas Eve is a busy day for a lot of folks. Good thing the wife's parents live 3 minutes away, I can watch the game on TV and drive over there for the Xmas eve get-together.

I agree about having them on Saturday. I could have gone if that were the case.

The Christmas Eve game last year was on a Sat instead of on Sunday which was Christmas day.

Yep. And they should have done the same thing for this year. Treat Christmas Eve and Day the same.
