Finally get cheerleaders? I mean the team is just flatout awful and the city has plenty of good looking women. Do something for the fans, please. This is brutal. At least give me something to kind of deflect from the pee poor play on the field.

Other opinions on this? I don't know why we have to be so boring and rigidly conservative about this. Everyone loves cheerleaders!

I'd buy tickets to the first game we actually put cheerleaders on the field. Until then (with this group of hacks on the field)....ehhh, not so much. So in that sense, I'm all for it. It'd give me SOMETHING to watch that was enjoyable.

I have yet to see a good reason to not allow cheerleaders for a pro football team. The "we're men and we watch FOOTBALL...we don't need any stinking WOMEN to get excited" idea is bogus. We're people, watching men play a GAME for our ENTERTAINMENT. Part of that entertainment is good football (I wish). Part of it is the atmosphere in the stadium (which includes cheerleaders, music, crowd etc.). I'd want cheerleaders if we were 16-0. With THIS group though, they'd be a god-send.

But I know I'll get chastised for my opinion and told you don't need stinking cheerleaders, even in high school or college. I mean, that's just TOO MUCH. For that matter, we don't need beer at the stadium either. I mean we're so hardcore we don't want anything to impede the watching of the FOOTBALL. Maybe next we can outlaw bathroom breaks so people don't miss any of the action on the field. We don't need any help starting cheers either. We've got all the "Boooo", "DA sucks", "Fire Mangini", "Brady!" and cheering when DA gets hurt all down pat.

If I wanna watch slankly dressed women, I'll pull out my telescope, wait maybe I didnt phrase that right, i'll bring out my telescope.


We dont need cheer leaders, save a cheerleader sign a RT.

Because most fans are clinging to an image of this team that hasn't existed in nearly 50 years with the exception of a year or two here and there. They are also clinging to an image of NFL football in general that is, for the most part,... gone.

Cheerleaders won't make us better..... and cheerleaders, even if they were playing, wouldn't make us any worse at this point...

I think a lot of people are against simply because they think they are supposed to be against it and can't give you one logical reason why it's a bad idea..

Something about women on the sidelines, in snowpants and a parka with pom poms doesn't do anything for me.

No, cheerleaders won't help this mess. As a matter of fact, I would be more opposed to them NOW than I would be if we had a string of winning seasons.

I just want to win.

I don;t care anymore if we get cheerleaders .... change the uniforms ..... hell, I almost don't even care if we change the helmets ..... JUST FREAKIN" WIN SOME DAMN GAMES ALREADY!

We are rapidly becoming the Bungles. We have had 1 playoff appearance and 2 winning records in 10 years. This year doesn't look good for either of those propositions either.

If we have to sacrifice live Steelers fans at the gate ...... do it. I don't care anymore. If we have to sell Art Modell's soul to the devil ...... oh wait .... too late .....

Anyway ..... Just win. Any cosmetic changes don't matter to me at all.
