Hey all. I just bought a 52" Samsung TV. Looking to get a home theatre system for it... I am looking to spend under $400. Does anyone have any suggestions? Especially for use with a Samsung TV. Thanks.

You really want wireless whatever you end up getting...
how are the speakers and can you buy them seperately?
my girlfriend and i really want to attach a set of speakers to our tv. we don't neceassary need dvd as we have game consoles for that. but i really want to upgrade the sound.

Hard to get a good system for under $400. You'll have to get an all-in-one package with the receiver and all the speakers, and even then you may not get a great system.
Definitely don't buy separate components if you are conserving money. I went that route and spent a fortune. Great sound, but it cost me. Go for the theater in a box set up.

If you like shopping on Black Friday, that may be your best chance. Here's one from Best Buy right at your price range from Samsung that includes a BD player: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+10...p;skuId=9237818

I have a Samsung system. It works very well. 5 CD/DVD changer, AM/FM stereo 5.1 surround.
Paid around $300 or so for it. Only thing I would upgrade is the subwoofer. It doesn't have a lot of oomph, but it does decent, but my main thing was being able to fit it in a cabinet in the entertainment center. I've already had to secure the cabinet backing to keep it from rattling. If I ported the cabinet I would probably get much better base.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.
