The economics of the situation has NOTHING to do with it...  Hello!!!! This is EARTH...Have we met???? This isn't about $$$$$ It is about ownership and control over your own property which you do not just freely give up when you don't have to.... This is about smart business practices of which giving a minority ownership to a GM/Czar would NOT be....And there have been a variety of posts explaining why.... What part of that do you not understand????
I thought I was wrong once....but I was mistaken...

OK, that's fair...every Browns fan has their priorities and it is a good thing to have your priorities and concerns on record.
mac, I can't speak for Toad, Daman, or anybody else that been critical of your plan.. but for myself, I don't care if Lerner gives 5% to Ozzie, 5% to Holmgren, 5% to Parcells, and 10% to Miley Cyrus if it gets us back into contention........
I'm not arguing that he SHOULDN'T do it, I'm arguing that from a business perspective, he WON'T do it... so why spend time talking about it?

There are a lot of good Browns fans here.
Some of them could probably do better than Lerner in running the team.
But I would not want them to be running a corporation. I am sure that Randy does that better.
