its one thing to act like or be a moron and try to talk smack its another when they say the same old retired rhetoric overly used ansd then only use it when their team wins and is silent when they lose
I have run across several "Bengals fans" this week that have called them Bungals due to losing last week. All I can do is blink, blink, blink at them. Nice fan base.
C'mon Michelle...you know his Mommy doesn't like to share the computer with Med. They only have dialup and she doesn't want his internet porn flooding her computer anyway.
amazing how he has nothing better to do then to hang out on this board when the bungals lose but he.she.it is on here within hours of a win and 50 straight sell out are because PITTS fans BRowns Fans channel 12 motorola chad johnson krogers and everyone else who "buys" tickets
Ours has. That gives us room to talk and wear what we wish.
Okay so for the one billionth time I've heard this jibberish. If that is the only claim to fame that you all can make is that you won championships before the NFL merged and before the Bengals existed, then take that ball and run with it..But lets look at this, since the Bengals have been in existence, they've had higher levels of sucess than the Browns have..Argue that all you want but its true..This season is just another illustration of that..So "your room to talk" is not a very big one..And from the looks of the way things are going, that list of teams that haven't ever been to a Super Bowl is gonna shrink again this year..(the Saints look unstoppable) So the Cards did it, the Saint look like they will..
In case you didn't know, there was something called FOOTBALL before the Bengals existed. You don't have a franchise with a long and storied history so you somehow think none of us should?

Gee, you amaze me with your intellect every time I read one of your responses..Who said football didnt' exist? I know I didn't. My point is this, the ONLY thing you have to constantly chest thump about is a bygone era and you all use it as your primary means to try to talk smack about a franchise that didn't exist when it all happened..All I know is, when the league expanded, your team has proved to be nothing more than bunch of erratically overachieveing choke artists...So if you want to live on a history that few of you were alive to see, then live, eat and choke on it if you want..ITS THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE..Its totally hilarious to see how bad your current team is and how you all immediately run for cover and say "well we won championships in the 50's and 60's".. Be that as it may, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the SORRY CLOWNS TEAM THAT CURRRENTLY PLAYS IN YOUR CRUMMY STADIUM..
You assume a lot of things when you post and you know what happens when you do that right? Just leave out the "me" part and you've got it totally right.
the Browns have more playoff berths than the Bengals despite the team leaving for 3 years and starting over as an expansion team since the Bengals came into existance.
and as much as you may wish they didn't count...the Browns have won championships while the Bengals have not.
Quote: Yea well Medmann doen't always have time to waste hanging around this lame board with a bunch of Cleveland Clowns.
P.S. - In case you have not checked the Bengals are still in FIRST place in the division & you Clowns are like what LAST place? You have exactly 1 win so your smack credentials are exactly ZERO.
Try & win some games & then you can talk smack on the Bengals.

How about your fans try to actually sell out some games to watch their first place team? I feel like more people are at fountain square watching the game than actually going to PBS.

That is something I truly don't understand...why won't Bengals fans go to the game? They are in first place in the division and will probably make the playoffs.
I really have been thinking about this since I have to hear them cry on the radio about having tickets available. If this were the Browns, my guess is you could buy tickets on ebay for triple face value. But, down here, nobody wants to shell out a couple hundred and support their team? Why not?
My thought is that Cincinnati/Dayton/Northern Kentucky just aren't football cities. There are plenty of people to pull from in the tri-state area. They should easily fill that stadium every week. Cincinnati and Dayton both seem to be more baseball cities than football...that's all I can come up with.
The stadium itself isn't even made for sellouts. It takes forever to get to your freakin' seats. You have the outer gate and then additional gates to walk through. The view from the seats is actually quite comparable to CBS, but getting there sucks.
Funny story though. I went to the game last weekend. We were in the upper level on the 50 yard line on the east side of the stadium. I had a Bungles fan three seats to the right of me who was just smashed off his rocker. He seemed like he was one of those "South of the Ohio River" folks.
He stands up to keep yelling "Who Dey" but keeps leaning forward. Next thing you know "Timber!" - the dude falls straight forward and about three rows down since he was so wasted. I couldn't stop laughing for the rest of the game.
His girlfriend was ticked too. After the guy got back up, she kept hitting him for embarassing her. Classic...

Okay....lets look at it under your terms, since 1968.
The Bengals have lost more games than the Browns since 1968, and the two teams have the same number of championships.
This season will mark only the 13th time in your team's existence that they finished the season with a winning record.....and of course, for comparisons sake using your "since 1968" parameters, the Browns have had 16 winning seasons in that timeframe.
