Jesper Parnevik, the Swedish golfer who along with his wife, Mia, introduced Elin Nordegren to Tiger Woods, is none too pleased with the world's No. 1 golfer.

Parnevik

Parnevik, 44, who is playing at the PGA Tour's qualifying tournament in West Palm Beach, Fla., told the Golf Channel on Wednesday that "I really feel sorry for Elin," in light of reports that Woods has been unfaithful.

Woods issued an apology on his Web site Wednesday for "transgressions," in the wake of a report that he had a 31-month affair with a Los Angeles woman.

Nordegren, 29, began working for the Parneviks as a nanny in 2000. She was first introduced to Woods at the 2001 British Open and they were married in 2004.

"I would be especially sad about it since I'm kind of -- I really feel sorry for Elin -- since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him," Parnevik said. "We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably need to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of the 3-iron."

In a statement issued Wednesday, Woods strongly denied any physical altercation between him and his wife. "The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious."

According to Windermere (Fla.) police chief Daniel Saylor, Woods' wife of five years used a golf club to break the back window of Woods' SUV to get him out of the car after she heard the accident in the early hours of Saturday.

Parnevik, a five-time PGA Tour winner, said he has had no contact with Woods since the accident on Friday.

"It's a private thing of course," he said. "But when you are the guy he is, the world's best athlete, you should think more before you do stuff ... And maybe not just do it, like Nike says."

Elin and Tiger Woods had a prenuptial agreement, as expected. The couple is undergoing marital counseling, as you'd also expect. And now The Daily Beast is reporting that Elin Woods is renegotiating that prenup to get an immediate $5 million payout from her husband and as much as $55 million more to stay with him for two more years.
The initial prenup was worth $20 million after 10 years of marriage. However, the Chicago Sun-Times' Bill Zwecker has reported that Elin Woods will receive an immediate payment "into an account she alone controls," and that the 10-year timeframe -- which began when they married in 2004 -- has been shortened and the value increased "substantially."
The Daily Beast quotes "a lawyer familiar with the couple's negotiations" in reporting that the term of the prenup has been shortened to seven years, and that a series of staggered payments could increase the total value to $75 million.
But apparently there's also a behavioral component to all this: Elin Woods must "be a dutiful wife in showing up with him at social events and in public as if they were still the perfect couple, and sign a nondisclosure form that will prevent her from ever telling her story."
It's important to note that to date, there's no concrete evidence that Elin Woods has ever been anything but the perfectly dutiful golf wife. I'm sure the Woodses would like nothing more than to portray domestic calm to the world, and Elin Woods now apparently has several million more reasons to do just that.

Good for her.

I'm with Parnavik on this one, she should have used a driver instead of a 3-iron.

Maybe, maybe not.

If you love someone, you don't give up that easily.

Infidelity isn't good, but it isn't the worst think to ever happen and not something that hasn't been overcome.

If my wife had a fling, it wouldn't mean automatic divorce.

Right...but, apparently Mrs. Woods gets money immediately from the little blurb. Then, the longer she sticks it out, the more she gets. Sounds like a payoff to me....money for silence and playing the good wife.

I've read this numerous times now trying to make sense of it, but each time I read it, I just can't seem to see where anything in this is about actually having, you know, a loving marriage.

There is no where you can write into a contract to have a loving marriage.. my thought (or my hope) is that they both plan on working out their issues and having a loving marriage in the long run, she's just guaranteeing that she gets paid if that isn't possible.... I'm not a big fan of the prenup, guess I'd have one if I actually had hundreds of millions to protect though...

And WTH is "The Daily Beast"?

On a serious note he is a dumb "donkey" and I hope she gets every penny she can. If you don't want to be in a marriage then don't be in one.

[end serious note]Or become a mormon extreamist and then you can have multiple wives.

Since the inevitable is going to happen, these gals will take their 15 minutes and try to stretch it out by doing magazine spreads. I would suggest to Tiger he start his own mens magazine and make some cash from his exploits.

He could call it, Tiger's Den.

The list of Tiger Woods’ alleged affairs continues to grow as several additional women have been linked to the golfer through the media in recent days.

On Sunday, 33-year-old Mindy Lawton was the latest in a string of alleged Tiger mistresses stepping up for their 15 minutes of infamy.

Telling her sordid Tiger tale to the British tabloid News of The World, Mindy claims she met Woods in 2006 in Orlando, Florida, and that their affair ended just before Tiger’s wife, Elin, had a baby.

“I felt used and abused actually,” Mindy said in NOTW interview footage of how their alleged relationship ended.

She also told the paper, “He’s an excellent lover… he’s aggressive and passionate.”

Mindy joins a growing list of alleged tiger mistresses including:

Rachel Uchitel: Rachel, a New York socialite, was the first woman named as an alleged mistress of Tiger Woods. She has denied the claims reported first in the National Enquirer and since retained the services of famed attorney Gloria Allred. She was set to hold a press conference last week, but canceled it for undisclosed reasons, which her lawyer had “no comment” on. Radar Online claims sources said Tiger worked out a deal with Uchitel to remain quiet, worth between $1 million - $3 million.

Kalika Moquin: A source claimed to Access Hollywood last week that Kalika had an affair with Tiger. Life & Style first reported their alleged romance, although the woman did not admit anything to the mag, telling them she wanted to focus on her job. However, Moquin told Us Weekly on Thursday that the allegations were “completely untrue,” adding that she came into contact with Tiger in a “professional” capacity as manager of Las Vegas club The Bank.

Jaimee Grubbs: Jaimee is a one-time reality star who was dumped on VH1’s “Tool Academy” in 2009. She claimed to Us Weekly she had a relationship with Tiger for 31 months, beginning in 2007.

Jamie Jungers: Over the weekend, Jamie Jungers became one of the newest women to be named as an alleged mistress of Tiger Woods. In Britain’s Sunday Mirror, Derek Schmidt, who claims to have been Jamie’s fiance when she met Tiger, said the model met the golfer in Las Vegas in 2005 and the two began an affair. Jamie’s mother told E! Online she “for sure” was linked to Tiger.

Mindy Lawton: Mindy Lawton from Orlando, Florida, told her story to News of the World, who published lurid details of her alleged affair with the golfer, an affair she claims began in 2006. Lawton’s sister, Lynn, reportedly claimed to the U.K.‘s Daily Mail that Mindy did indeed have a sexual relationship with the golfer.

Cori Rist: The New York Daily News’ Rush & Molloy reported on Saturday that a New Yorker by the name of Cori Rist was another alleged mistress of Tiger Woods. Rist said “no comment” when contacted by the paper.

Those are just the first six allegedly linked to Tiger. The alleged Tiger tryst tally could be up to nine including a British television presenter, a porn star and a ninth, unnamed woman.

No doubt, and good for her. As this story goes on, there seems to be more than 1 or 2 mistress'.....and a mistress is much more then a fling.

Face it....guys are ruled by sex, so any man can get drunked up, put in to the wrong, or right situation depending on how you want to define it and screw up.

The difference is the guy who really loves his wife( or husband if a woman,,,,women have a better sense of direction in this detail so it isn't as common) is going to know he screwed up and put a end to that then and there.

Only the gold digger of gold digging women (or men) is going to gig some guy or gal over a drunken one night fling who then says sorry, that should have never happened.

It's when you start going back to the well time and time again over weeks or months, or start having 1 night deals time and time again, then thats a problem.

That doesn't mean Tiger or whoever is a bad person. It just means they don't need to be married unless the spouse knows whats going on and doesn't care.

On a side note, I do find it a bit troubling that most feel and know she beat the hell out of him....and even make jokes, yet had it been the other way around and he beat the hell out of her for any reason, groups would have been jumping out of the woodwork calling for his neck.

The bottom line is there are times when all of us....men, women, children deserve a smack in the chops.....or....none of us do.

I vote for all of us, and not saying none is us it the wrong answer, but some of us is simply wrong.

All or none. There is no in between.

Personally I hopes she gets what she can and walk from the slug, making him pay for the entire trip into adulthood for his kids. The guy is slime for what he did. If he didn't want her, divorce her but don't screw around like that with anyone and everyone he could. Don't play with someone emotions like he was as indicated by his attempts to shut up his "women" in the voice mails.

Yep, give her millions and let her continue to get millions for her kids, it serves him right. For the record, I don't have a problem with her beating the ... out of him.

Emergency call at Tiger Woods' home

A woman was taken from Tiger Woods' Orlando area home early Tuesday and taken to the hospital.

Orange County Fire Rescue spokeswoman Genevieve Latham told the Orlando Sentinel that firefighters responded to a call at 2:36 a.m. at Woods' Isleworth mansion.

Emergency personnel reportedly took a woman from the home on a stretcher. Orlando TV station WESH showed video of a woman on a stretcher being taken into Health Central Hospital in Ocoee.

Health Central Hospital is the same hospital where Woods was treated after he crashed his black Cadillac Escalade outside his house on Nov. 27.

Video footage taken at the hospital show a black Cadillac Escalade, similar to the vehicle Woods had crashed outside his home, appeared at Health Central Hospital shortly after the 911 call to Woods' home, a report on WFTV.com shows. The news site described the driver as a blonde woman.

Woods' personal life has been in chaos since the Nov. 27 crash as reports of marital infidelity have surfaced. Woods issued a statement apologizing for his "transgressions" and several Web sites reported Monday that his wife, Elin, had moved out of the Isleworth mansion and moved into a nearby home that Woods owns.

Report: Tiger Woods was drinking
Wife allegedly told trooper about alcohol, medication
ORLANDO SENTINEL

ORLANDO, Fla. - Tiger Woods was drinking before he wrecked his SUV two weeks ago, a witness told a Florida Highway Patrol trooper.

That witness was the same person who pulled Woods from his damaged truck, a document released yesterday states. Elin Nordegren Woods, Tiger Woods' wife, told Windermere police that she dragged the injured golfer from his Cadillac Escalade about 2:25 a.m. Nov. 27 with the help of a golf club.

apparently in Orlando "advanced life support" can mean as little as an IV drip...

considering she was already released, it's probably no big deal....

You can bet they are having discussions in house. You don't want to jump the gun, but if one does, several will probably follow.

The key is are the golf balls and whatever else still moving off the shelf or is it piling up in the warehouse?

I have never liked Tiger all that much, but I sure don't like to see a guys life unravel this way. I think his close friends need to keep an eye on him because i could see the guy making some real poor choices and just ending it.

Tiger isn't a thug who just doesn't care the way some of the others celebs my have been. He might not be able to handle this sort of deal.

I think Tiger is a pretty good guy who just got caught up in the wrong lifestyle and didn't have the discipline to put a end to it shortly after it started.

My bet would be Stevie is the guy who got him hooked up at a few parties early on...that guy is a crumb.

This is turning Michael Jacksonesque, and we keep waiting to find out if this is it or if the biggest bombshell has yet to hit.

Most are dirtbags, they wouldn't have many athletes to sponsor.

My question is why is this getting nonstop coverage? So, he cheated on his wife like 90% of the other professional athletes...what makes this a story?

The only information that I saw said his wife told the officer at the scene that he had some alcohol earlier in the evening...

Agreed, but at this point its just been hearsay and he wasn't charged with any alcohol related offenses. I do agree with you though.
