Justin Miller is now a former Jet. That qualifies him to be a current Brown right?

The Jets released CB/KR Justin Miller on Saturday, just over a month after signing him to replace the injured Leon Washington as the team's primary kickoff returner.

According to NewsDay he was released because he missed a meeting. He is too unfocused, imo, to bring in. Plus we already have the best kick returner in the NFL, and Justin is not a good enough corner (poteat may actually be better, not saying much).

The Jets picked him up when Washington got hurt and couldn't do kick return duties.

If Mangini wanted Miller he would have picked him a few weeks ago when he also was available.

Miller's a servicable returner but as a corner he's just not NFL quality and hasn't improved much since his rookie year.

I think he might also be a lockerroom problem. Just another very talented guy who never got it together.......... As bad as our corners our, just some more trash.

Ex-Jet or not, Mangini will probably continue to not bring him over.

"just over a month after signing him to replace the injured Leon Washington"

I read that to mean that Mangini never hired this kid...so even though mentioned in jest on coming here. Only Jets that Mangini coached fall in that category of which Miller was not one of them.

He was.

Miller was drafted by the Jets the year before Mangini came on board.

The Cleveland Browns tried out former New York Jets kick returner and reserve cornerback Justin Millr today, according to a league source.

Miller was cut over the weekend after reportedly being late for a team walkthrough.

One of three defensive backs to try out for the Browns, Miller is a former Pro Bowl selection and a 2005 Jets second-round draft pick out of Clemson.

The Browns also tried out four running backs, including former Cincinnati Bengals running back De De Dorsey who thrived in the United Football League this season.

What else can we do besides laugh at this team?

I hope we sign Teemu Selanne soon. He was one of the best Jets of all time.

We need a veteran presence!!!!!

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
