I know he is a head case but he probably will not be with Buffalo next year. Would he be a fit for us? I think he would help immensely and be worth the trouble.

No. but I'll give my reasoning.. TO is going to want a shot with a good team.. on a team thats winning he might be a fit, he's not going to want to come here into this rebuilding process. Not at his age and with his ego.

We just got rid of a couple of head cases, we sure as hell don't need anymore. We also need to get rid of the head head case.

I'll go aginst the board and agree with this. The Browns dont have a red zone target. TO would be their best redzone target out of all the current players on this roster.
But I wouldnt consider it until after FA and until after the draft. But even then, at his age and he has lost a step or two, I dont think TO would sign for a CHEAP contract. He will probably make more money with his new modeling contract than what I would be willing to offer him.
If the Browns were a redzone target away from being a contendor, then yes, but thats not the case. He dont even really have the hops any more. Probably better hands than anyone on this team but so did Winslow.
Ask this question to Mangini and the awnser would be a sure NO!
In TOs defense, he has been more of a model player this year then he has ever been considering he did play with a HORRIBLE QB in Edwards. He threw Romo, Garcia, and McNabb under the bus but didnt have much to say about Edwards I cant believe how much arrogance Edwards exhorts (I hear the arrogance its a Stanford thing but I dont see it in Gerhart). Edwards is a horrible QB and the new coach benching him in favor of Fitzpatrick was the best thing that happened to the team this year. I also give the new coach props for starting the other RB who did so well before Lynchs suspension. DICK Jauron started Lynch right away after the other RB was doing such a great job. That was another Jauron downfall not sticking with that RB.

As it stands, I'm not the least bit concerned he'll come here.

I could see him finishing up in New England.
He's been pretty quiet in Buffalo, despite not having a QB to throw to him ..... and even at 36 is a pretty solid talent.

After seeing Moss quit in today's game, it wouldn't surprise me to see him gone after the season opening the door for TO going to the Pats.
