3 weeks ago, the midwest got hit yesterday, the east got hit. even an Alberta clipper tonight moved south of C bus and we get nothing.  if it is going to be cold, it might as well snow, otherwise you just look at dormant trees

I live in Atlanta, and even I know we will get snow eventually.

It's funny. You seem to get more snow than we do here, 100 miles north.. I guess the way the mountains run through it deflects the weather patterns either to the north or to the south, or drains them of their moisture.
I bet we haven't had 1" total combined for the last 5 winters.
Oh...and that's fine by me. Hard to play golf in the snow. It's calling for 51 today...I may go out a little later this afternoon for a round....maybe just 9...we'll see.

It snowed here in 1987, it didn't make it to the ground though.

I prefer my commute home from work taking less than an hour. And I prefer NOT putting the safety of myself and my car in the hands of hundreds of horrible drivers.
And clearing the walk, steps, and back porch w/ nothing more than a broom is quite nice as well.

I swear every moron on the road wants to move to Columbus. The shear number of idiots on the road is astounding . Between the over cautious "I'm going to drive under the speed limit in the left hand lanes" people, to the over aggressive "I'm going to squeeze in the 3 feet between you and the car in front of you" people I'm constantly annoyed by the end of my evening commute.

LOL. I used to live in West Virginia, and they called anybody who did this an "Ohio Driver." It's so true. Even if they are going the speed limit, it's annoying.

Yeah, I've heard that from WV people before. It's like some people feel it's there obligation to make sure everyone drives the speed limit or something.

This happened to me Saturday night. I was on cruise, doing around 68mph (cops were out, so I just set it low and drove). I was in the middle lane, getting over to pass someone on the left when a car 300 ft in front of me also pulls over into the left lane and does 50mph. Not a soul in front of him.
Watch the next storm coming down the pike on Christmas Eve/Day. First it was going to be a foot of snow, then over an inch of rain. Next it was ice, now it's severe.
Should have a better idea of where this one will track starting tonight....but it's a giant PITA watching this storm due to inconsistent modeling.

Columbus just puts off too much heat. You can see it on the weather map. Looks like the snow just bends around the outer belt.
