With all the attention being focused on whether Mangi stays or goes (different philosophies, he goes) how about this combo, Heckert GM, Morningwhig HC, and Vick as QB!!!!!!
I read about us interviewing Phillys' GM and about maybe Morningwhig possibly becoming the HC, if those both happen how would you feel about bringing in Micheal Vick? I know it's been brought up before, but now! With his current OC being mentioned as HC and the GM that had the sack to bring him back to the league maybe becoming our GM and he would have a years' worth of experience in the offensive system, I think Vick, past mistakes aside, is a viable/logical choice!

No, no and no. Vick is not accurate at all, which is needed in a WCO. I think Kolb is a better option if you want back up qbs.

No, Vick is not a great QB. He just adds a running threat. Cribbs can do anything Vick can do.

I'm not really sure how I feel about Vick in a Browns uniform. In terms of the dogfighting thing, I say he's done his time and that's behind him. Obviously I don't condone what he did at all, but after being convicted and sentenced by a judge, I can't say that he deserves more punishment. In terms of Vick the football player, that's the real toughy for me. I would say yes because I think he'd be an instant upgrade over our current quarterbacks. It's mentioned that he's not a "WCO QB", but I'd hazard a guess and say that he's more WCO than what we have. People also seem to forget that he's spent a year in Philly. Maybe that offense has taught him a thing or two. The main negative that I see is that we would probably have to tweak our offense a little in order to get him to fit. That could have a negative impact down the road when we try to plug in our eventual draft pick. I would say yes, if for no other reason than to be able to see what would happen when we put any combo of Vick, Cribbs, Harrison, and/or a bruiser back (Vickers?) on the field at once. A Browns offense that's that fun to watch is a big  in my book (and a welcome change).
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I agree on the "done his time" thing.
But if we are going to go to the WCO, then we need a WCO QB, not a "more of a WCO QB than we have" QB.

You, nor I, would not have received the same treatment for violating Federal Tax law, all dogs aside.

i would like to see weis brought in as OC and cowher as gm, then next year get gruden and let him and cowher decide who is HC and GM.. holgrem gruden cowher and weis would be awesome if they could all co-exist

This is what I think will happen coach wise. Mangini will get the nod THIS year, and if he does not succeed, Holmgren brings in Gruden to be his man. The Browns need a head coach who has experience, and also someone who has learned from some of his coaching experiences in the league.
Weis will probably not be our o-coordinator because he is use to being the head chief in charge. I don't know if Quinn is a good enough reason for Weis to say yes, I want to come to Cleveland.

It used to be said that Cribbs was often referred to as a poor mans Vick. Don't know who coined that saying, but nowadays, I'd say that Vick is a poor mans version of Cribbs.. If for no other reasons that Production and Character.
Some QB's I wouldn't be too awfully surprised to see in a Browns uniform are Senica Wallace or Matt Hasslebeck or even to some degree, Charlie Frye.. I wouldn't think that Frye is your starter, but as a back up, yeah, I can see that. Hasslebeck as the interim guy until a younger version is found. Wallace, to be honest I only mention him because he's aware of the Holmgren offense..But I know very little.
As for Vick, Ok, he paid his debt to society,, I can accept that. I'm not convinced he's a QB that fits what everyone thinks Holmgrens gonna have installed here..
If we're gonna have vick here, I'd rather use Cribbs in that roll..... JMO

No it wasn't....I gave my opinion of the thread. Additionally, it's been talked about numerous times in the past and the mods said if it continued to happen the threads would be deleted. It is only common MB courtesy to have an adequate title so someone knows what the thread is about prior to deciding whether or not to click and open it.

It was also stated by THE MODS that thread titles such as this would be policed.....do you know why??? Because they are WORTHLESS and do not lend to good discussion........it is FAIR and COURTEOUS to title a thread so people know what is inside of it before deciding to click on it. or, perhaps they may want to start a thread on a same or similar subject but not see that one is already running based upon the WORTHLESS thread title that does not describe the thread.
Try READING some time as opposed to just repeatedly posting quick responses to increase your posting numbers. Blah blah blah.....and if you recall I sent you the PM because YOU were telling me what I should or shouldn't do!!!! Got any mirrors where you are at????????????????

Are you a mod? NO, your not so why try to go around and police everyone and everything....let the refs do their jobs if they didnt like this thread they would of re-named it or deleted it. they didnt so dont let it annoy you like that...there is alot more things in life to get bent out of shape over other than a message board thread.
