Check out yesterday's Around the Net segment from one of my favorite things to watch (Attack of the Show):

Skip to 1:30 if you don't want to see a guy get CRUSHED against a pool.

If only the NFL gave out points for interviews, announced antics, and silly guarantees. Cincytucki is long on promises and short on wins against quality clubs. Shameful we gave away some, but I made $$$ promising some folks they would underperform. Nice work. Apparently, strike two and you are out. Way to finish the year.

I watched that show yesterday, because I head they were having a segment on the World Series of Beer Pong, so I wanted to see what that was like.

Had never seen it before, but it was pretty funny.

You might want to include a new QB in there considering the fact that Palmer has been playing like ass the entire year.

Better tell Braylon not to try ice skating on that. You know he'd have to brace for his fall and what would happen to his hands

You 5 win celebrating losers can have at it..Heck we lost a PLAYOFF game..

The Clowns simply lose...A lot..A whole lot..

Since your only joy of the season has to come as you watch another team beat us, I remind you, Mangini is still, your coach, Quinn is still the guy who takes snaps (cuz he aint much of a QB) Your defense is still horrible..

While it wasn't fun to watch todays game, at least I got to root for my team..

Your next big event is when the draft magazines are released..And it has been since about week 4 of this season..

May have lost the playoff game, but we still beat YOU..And throw in the Squeelers for good measure..

In 2009 Who Dey...It certainly wasn't either of You Dey!!!

Now go ahead and start predicting how next year your gonna be 10-6 or 11-5..

And have fun watching Cribbs, walk right out of town..

Try and talk smack when you actually have a good team. The Bengals are a #2 WR and a LG away from winning a SB.

#2 WR? You don't have a #1 WR. Surely you aren't counting Number 85 (who doesn't know what his name is) as the #1 WR?

0 catches for 0 yards first game against jets
2 catches for 28 yards second game against jets

Number 85: Third lowest year in total receiving yards in a 9 year career. Only 9 touchdowns. Receiving stats for 2009: 20th in the league in receiving yards, 26th in the league in number of receptions, 30th in the league in average yards per catch, 15th in the league in TD's, 65th in the league for longest reception, only 18 more receivers in the league (out of 129 ranked) fumbled more then he did or tied him with number of fumbles, and he was tied for 12th place with 12 other players for most 100 yard receiving games. AND THIS BUM IS BEING PAID $3.55 MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR IN SALARY ALONE!?!?!

I sure hope you keep Number 85 as your #1(?) WR.

Revis locked up receivers like Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, Steve Smith and Roddy White. Does that mean they are not # 1 caliber wideouts? Revis is just that good. Ocho may not be as good as he once was but he is still pretty damn good. In fact, he just made his 6th pro-bowl today. I do agree the Bengals need to get some more weapons around him. The tight end position and the other wide receivers really held the Bengals back this year.

Since we're talking numbers, here's a simple problem the bunglefans can solve using the fingers of one hand.

Number of bungle HOFer's +
Number of winning seasons in the last 20 years +
Number of league championships +
Number of competent owners +
Number of playoff wins in the last 20 years

That would also mean that Carson chucked the ball about as often as any other team, wouldn't it?

You Cleveland Clowns crack me up criticizing the Bengals when YOU
stink on ice.

Let's look at what the Bengals did this season.

SWEPT the Steelers
SWEPT The Ratbirds
SWEPT The Clowns
WON the AFC North outright
Marwin Lewis won the AP coach of the year.

Ok, now let's look at what you loser Clowns did this year.....UH, oh that's right you finished in LAST place AGAIN just like last year, go away until you have won something, at least the Bengals MADE the playoffs.

Nuff Said.

As other posters have said, what did you do in the playoffs? This proves to Mike Brown he doesn't have to make any improvements over the offseason. Palmer has regressed every season over the last three years and your WR core are nothing special. This was a fluke season for the Bungles.

We really need a graemlin for stupid....... to use with Medgirl replys.

And this is the first time you've been here since December 19th.Why?Because you know your team blows and you were going to be one and done in the playoffs like everyone on here predicted.
Go away and stay gone. You are nothing around here.Go sit in front of the TV and watch other teams play for a chance at the SuperBowl.

Lol I am a Bengal fan and even I had to laugh at that comment. Don't get me wrong I had a lot of fun this year and have real optimism about the future but Bengal fans should not get on anyone about winning things. Now if you want to talk about recent history with the Browns, that is a different conversation.

Marvin had to deal with things this year that no coach in the NFL even remotely had to deal with. To keep the team focused while dealing with the death of Vicki Zimmer, Chris Henry and the tsunami in America Samoa was amazing. Moreover, he took a team that won 4 games last year and got them to 10 wins. Also, how does a team that goes 6-0 in the AFC North as well as win the most games not deserve to represent the division in the playoffs?

finally a Bengal fan has a point.....

Marvin had to deal with:

1. Mike Brown as owner
2. Bengal fans
3. Bengal players
4. Natural Disasters throughout the world (according to this Bengal fan, a natural disaster will affect the Bengals but not the other teams, so he's lucky that he was able to bow out of the playoffs before the Haiti earthquake hit)

The Bengals have 4 players with American Samoa ties on the team. These players could not get in touch with some of their family members after the tsunami. All of these players know friends or family members that had homes destroyed. I believe Jonathan Fanene even lost a cousin in tsunami. So yes, it was something the players dealt with all year. Read some articles on it, Marvin helped them all get through it. Not saying other teams did not deal with it but the Bengals have as many players from the area as anyone else.

As a whole no other coach dealt with the amount of tragedy that the Bengals did. I was talking about the combination of the death of Chris Henry, Vicki Zimmer and the tsunami. If you do not think voters took all this into account, you are nuts.

So you're saying coach of the year should be based on those things. If that were the case,Joe Gibbs should have won the award in 2007 when Sean Taylor died.
I'm sure some of these disasters probably affected some of his players too.

Fair enough, I don't want to get into a battle about who has the most tragedies. I was just pointing out my belief it was a big factor. I have heard several AP reporters who voted for Marvin say they did so because he kept the team together in very trying circumstances. Maybe I am wrong and these tragedies were not taken into account. However, I tend to think most who voted for Marvin did so.

Since then the Bungles lost 4 games and won 1,so how is that holding them together?

did 2009 go to the chargers? that had to be a bigger upset than Marvin Lewis winning COY.

i'm not sure they had the most, but definitely the highest profile ones....

Vincent Jackson last January (DUI)
Jamal Williams last February (DUI)
Shawne Merriman last September (stupidity known as dating Tila Tequila)
