Last season was miserable. The one season a couple seasons ago (Nuclear explosion/dirty bomb whatever) started off awesome. By the end it was a let down. Here's hoping this one doesn't disappoint.

I wasn't that impressed with last night's show. It was ok, but lacked the typical Jack Bauer non-stop action. I guess I'll chalk it up to being the first show, setting foundation, character setup, etc... I'm hoping tonight has more action.

Also, the guy from slumdog millionaire is in, which I worth watching in itself.

Yeah, that and the helicopter blowing up was pretty much all the action in 2 hours. Not a lot considering previous seasons were nonstop action.
Last night was better, not on the edge of your seat than Sunday.
I'd heard that the guy from Slumdog was going to be in this season. I was a little surprised to see the Renee Walker character back this season.

because of hockey commitments, i haven't seen any of the shows yet
but without spoiling it, do they talk about what happened after last season? wasn't jack on the verge of death and his daughter was going to try and help? seems like from the trailer that he's back to normal.

Dave Barry addresses that very issue in his series preview: Other than that, we honestly don't recall much of what happened last season, except that at the very end Jack Bauer was continuing to die, as he had been for months, from exposure to the Deadly Death Canister of Lethal Doom. Fortunately, in the off-season he was cured, thanks to a risky experimental medical procedure that involved being pressed from both sides by live human bosoms.

can't wait. i have 4 hours of 24 to watch on dvr. so i will probably have a relaxing weekend. i love how they did back to back 2 hour sets. gets ya right into it.

this season has been ok so far.
the blonde that works in ctu is really hot, but i'm growing tired of this side-story with her hillbilly ex boyfriend who's taking her for every cent. i know it probably will somehow tie into the main story, but until then, it really sucks whenever they go to him. the guy sucks.
but the chick is HOT

Somehow they are going to end up in an accident with that truck that has the nuke in it. At least that's what I think based on them cutting away from the show with the two hillbillies drinking while driving away from robbing the warehouse.
